He stood out from other realtors at our initial visit when he came armed with specific comps and figures. He was professional throughout the entire selling process and very responsive. Selling a house can be stressful but Steve's calm and steady hand really made it as stress-free as possible.

+ -1 moreSteve went above and beyond finding us a home. We had a pretty small area to work with given the location we wanted to be in. One of the best qualities, was his availability on nights and weekends. We were impressed how fast he learned what our tastes were and immediately knew which houses to suggest. We had some requirements such as a fenced yard for our dog. One house he showed us didn?t have a fence and we were not sure what was allowed by the HOA. Steve went out of his way and contacted a fence contractor and the HOA and had a pre-approved written estimate completed before we even put in an offer on the house. I highly recommend Steve and would use him again.

Description of Work: I had 10 days in FL to find a house before I had to return to CA. Steve was amazingly responsive to every request I made. I could text him about a listing and he would immediately arrange for us to see the house, sometimes with only hours or less lead time. He was knowledgeable about construction features and offered me excellent advice. He learned my style/price range preferences quickly and didn't waste my time showing me houses that didn't meet them. | |Once I found a house, he was a great negotiator and got me the house I wanted at the price I needed. Throughout the entire offer and closing processes he responded instantly to my texts or emails or phone calls and kept all parties on task and communicating. He is calm and unflappable in a crisis. When there were glitches he was able to expedite solving them. + -1 moreSteve Cooley was an absolute blessing throughout our entire home buying experience. He was always upfront and honest, and we truly trusted his advice and judgement. Steve always had our best interest in mind, and helped us to sift through all of our options, before choosing the home that really fit our vision. We never felt pressured or rushed, and Steve always made himself available to show us homes, or take our calls/emails. He was very thorough with his answers to all of our question, and really helped us understand the entire home buying process. If we're ever ready to purchase another home, there's nobody that we would trust besides Steve!
Description of Work: Being first time home buyers, my fiance and I had no idea where to even begin. We were referred to Steve by a friend, and couldn't have been more thankful for all of his guidance. First and foremost, Steve got us in touch with a bank to begin to know where we were at financially, where we needed to be, and our price range. He was patient with us while we fixed a few things and all the while offered great and honest advice. Once we were at a place financially to begin to look for homes, Steve began to point us in the right direction as to the homes we should be looking at, based on our "must have lists." He always presented us with homes that were in our prices range, and didn't waste our time showing us homes that didn't meet all of our criteria. We found a home that had only been on the market for a few short days, and Steve helped us get our contract in that very same day. The house was a short sale, and Steve was in constant contact with us and the other realtor throughout the entire process (which ended up being over 6 months).

+ -1 moreI am in the military and move frequently. Over the past 12 years, I have purchased 4 homes. My experience with Steve was certainly the best. He was extremely responsive and really did his homework, as well as plenty of legwork. Steve got us a great deal in a great location. He was very proactive and took actions above and beyond to identify potential friction points ahead of time and prevent problems. He was extremely patient and worked with us for nearly 6 months, including working a sale that eventually fell through (no fault of his!) Steve went above and beyond--even taking care of things that should've been done by the seller or other third parties. He also works with a lot of military service members and understands the constraints of a military move--including distance / virtual home searches and coordination.
