Great service and work. Hard to find a company that does repairs but they were great.

Solar Solutions did a fantastic job! From the salesman visit (Larry) to the installation, everything went smoothly. The installers were professional and explained how everything works. We are thrilled with our new solar system and look forward to enjoying our pool more, now that the temperature is "swimmable."

Met with Larry, sales, and worked out the requirements for a quote. Tim (owner) called to review the offer and close the deal. Installation was scheduled for about a week later. Installers were friendly and did (what appears) to be a good job installing the panels and controller. I could have gotten them cheaper from another company but the quality of their product appeared a bit better, including the warranty so I felt the extra cost was worth the investment.

Purchased the deal on Angie's List after shopping around a while. I guess AL won't give out your contact info, only address, so we got a note on our door from Solar Solutions a few days later for us to call them. Spoke on the phone to the owner and verified everything. He or someone else also came out and checked our setup first, again just to verify things before installation. Installation was very smooth. I verified the location and other installation details with the installers before they started and then I left them to it. All plumbing and structural aspects look great. The materials used are top of the line - extremely secure system, with all stainless steel fasteners and quality roofing sealant. We've had several heavy rains since, and I've seen no issues with roof leaks. The system was installed in February, and took our pool from 69 degrees to 88 degrees in a few weeks. The difference is phenomenal. While this was quite an expensive investment, I feel like it was well worth it, as we probably wouldn't be using the pool until June, and even then it would not be nearly as comfortable. Other thoughts: The installation includes a pool cover. You will need to keep this cover on the pool every night at least during the non-summer months. This is kind of a pain, and you will also need to get a pool cover reel (fairly inexpensive online), but definitely needed if you want to get/keep the temperature up. If you have any tree cover on your roof (like me) the panels are a PITA to keep clear of leaves. I spend a lot of time on my roof with a blower, and I still don't think I'm getting all the leaves from underneath these panels. This will trap moisture and may lead to rot, which could eventually lead to a premature roof failure. Time will tell. Our pool pump died about 3 months after the solar panels were installed. This is likely just a coincidence, as it seemed fairly old, but I just wanted to note it here as the increased load of pumping water up to the roof may have hastened it's demise. We replaced it with a compatible Pentair VS pump, so it should work much more efficiently now.

Very well but the TECO requirement was slow.

Found the leak and repaired it. Everything went well. Shouldn't leak again, considering the time and effort they put into the repair.

Arrived on time, noticed some other issues. Set up repair time for 2 days from now. Very impressed, reasonably priced. I had been waiting on another repair company for many months. I felt they forgot about me. I bit the bullet and called someone else, expecting to pay a lot of money. I will review again after work is done in 2 days.

We had panels made by the same company when we moved in to our house but when we had our flat roof repaired we had to take them off. The panels were almost 20 years old and had started to show signs of deterioration (they were past their "life expectancy") so we decided that when they were taken down we would try a year without them versus replacing them. Big mistake! I don't swim unless the water is warm so I was only able to swim a handful of times last year. The process was very easy and we are already enjoying our warm water! These panels are virtually maintenance free and well worth the money- especially when compared with an electric or gas heater. I recommend this company to all of our friends.

Installation went very well. We were scheduled for installation 3 weeks out but an opening occurred and were installed about 1 1/2 weeks early. They arrived on time and were finished in about 3 hours. The install team was very knowledgeable and friendly. I couldn't have asked for anything more.

Everything went and we will use them once we do the add-on.

They removed the solar panels and associated hardware from my roof so that it could be re-shingled. They even capped the plumbing system so no debris could get in the system. Everything was stored neatly out of the way on my pool deck until the roofing repair was completed. Then re-installed the solar panels and associated hardware and even modified it slightly so it looked neater and fit and finish had a more professional appearance overall. The staff at Tampa Solar Contracting Inc. were exceptional and friendly on the phone and scheduled the work to fit my schedule. Awesome job, I would highly recommend Tampa Solar Contracting Inc. and their professional staff to all my friends and anyone else needed this type of work done.

I moved into a house this summer that has a Solar Solution installed system. It started leaking this fall and I called the Solar Solutions phone number 3 different times, each time ringing to an answering service. They dutifully take your information and promise that someone will contact you ASAP and then NOTHING! Forget about these people...they can't be bothered to answer the phone or return calls...I don't want them working on my system.

Tim was great and called the very next day to setup a walk through of our property. The new solar panels were installed a few days later and everything has been great.

I had to talk him into it - explained that I would be happy just extending the swim season a couple of months. I wasn't interested in swimming in December and January anyway. Tim said I wouldn't be happy. I said I would. Reluctantly, he installed all the panels we could squeeze on the south and east sides of the roof. And I'm happy- will comfortably be swimming into November and back again sometime in March/April. Installation very professionally done; materials durable and functioning perfectly.

Everything went very well. An easy company to work with, they were great.

I did not use them for the project

I called because I had an issue with one of my solar panels, Solar Solutions came as soon as I hanged up the phone, as they had a technician close by. Told me that the warranty will cover my issue, took the panel away, and came next day and installed a new panel. Their service blew my socks off. When I called, I was not even sure that it was under warranty... Before I realized it, I had a new panel up & running..

I went through my home warranty company and they sent them out. They were good.

The installers were on time and did a fabulous job with the installation and clean up. We would definitely use them again, should we decide to install another tube.

We had a very good experience with Solar Solutions. They returned my initial call promptly and were able to have a salesperson (Larry) out to our home the next morning for an estimate. Larry gave us a very good price and we arranged for the installation a few days later. On the day of the installation, the crew was very punctual and worked very diligently and quickly on the installation. However, we did run into one glitch. When they went to test the system and turn the pool pump back on, the pump did not work. We don't know why the pump wouldn't go back on, it just seemed to pick that moment to stop working. The good news is that the pump was still under warranty. The bad news was that the pool company that installed and serviced the pump was running a week out on making appointments. The president of Solar Solutions, Tim, made a special trip out to our house to see if he could get the pump working and he couldn't---so he arranged for his technicians to install a temporary pool pump for the pool, so that the pool filter would continue to operate. We were leaving for vacation and he didn't want the pool to turn green while waiting for the pool company to install the new pump. The next morning, the Solar Solutions crew was here, installed a temporary pump, and tested the solar heating system---which worked great! While we were gone on vacation, the pool company came by, swapped out the loaner pump from Solar Solutions, and installed the new pump for us. When we got home from vacation, I asked the pool company if there was anything that Solar Solutions might have done to cause the pool pump to stop working. They said no, it was just one of those things that happens, and it was just bad timing. We were very impressed with Solar Solutions going above and beyond what they had to do, in order to offer great customer service. The pool pump that died was not their responsibility, but they wanted to make sure that our pool continued to operate correctly and that the solar heating was working for us. They were very professional in all of their dealings and followed up with us to make sure that we were happy. If you are thinking of getting solar heating for your pool, I would highly recommend Solar Solutions!
