Soho Landscape

Description of Work: Made appointment with the owner. When he came over, showed him my backyard that needed a total overhaul. Also, spoke with him about some smaller jobs needed in the front yard. Front yard didn't need overhaul but needed work done. Husband and I had been considering getting someone to maintain yard. At the end of appointment, owner said he would put together a plan in a couple of weeks and that first amendment to plan would be included in price. Called him at 12 days after appointment to see if he had come up with any ideas.......left message on his voice mail. At around 15 days after appointment, sent email to him asking the same. NEVER got response to voicemail nor email. I checked all voicemail messages on my cell and home phones and checked all email including Spam file. No responses to anything. Very disappointing.

Description of Work: Last September we bought a charming corner lot home with a yard that had been neglected for months. We hired Soho Landscape to completely renovate the yard. Since most all the trees and shrubs were dead or dying and the grass was overrun with weeds, we literally had to start from the ground up. We selected Soho because they were maintaining my neighbors yard and it was in great shape. From this beginning, Friedel and his crew were professional, personable, and took the time to listen to my questions and requests. He gave us a detailed professional proposal and layout of his plan for the yard. With a few adjustments we agreed to proceed. Throughout the renovation Friedel was present overseeing every aspect of this project. He kept me informed as to who would be working at the house and what they would be doing. When issues came up he was right there with solutions and I felt things were being done right the first time. The finished project was so beautiful I cried! It was exactly what we wanted, a yard that was welcoming and a complement to the house. It was an expensive project but necessary given the bad condition of the yard. Not only did we get a beautifully landscaped yard but after nearly a year it is healthy, well established and continues to draw complements from neighbors, friends and strangers who walk or drive by.
