Excellent. Quick response. Bess Shipman and her daughter, Ramona, were so pleasant. The challenging pulley mechanism was fixed and the cord was replaced on an oversized pleated shade that hangs across my sliders.This was an in-home service. Bess is extremely knowledgeable, proficient, and the repair was more than fairly priced. Thank you Bess and Ramona.

Our new kitten decided he likes to chew on the strings and cords of wood blinds. The and quot;lifetime warrantyand quot; from the manufacturer did not cover pet damage. We were asked to ship them at our expense for and quot;evaluationand quot; of the cost to repair. Obviously this would have left us and quot;exposedand quot; from windows with no covering for some time. Instead, we looked for someone local. Bess was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. We delivered the blinds to her shop. She had to restring the entire system for 2 blinds - one 32and quot; wide, the other 54and quot; wide. Her work was quick, thorough, and very professional. Our blinds were ready in no time. They look and perform like new. We felt her price was more than reasonable. If needed we will certainly use Bess again and highly recommend her without reservation..

Bess Shipman is the owner. She is brilliant and really good. She has great reviews on Angie's List. Every time there's something wrong with my vertical blinds by tangling the cords or strings, she fixes it for me. Her prices are very reasonable. She does perfect work and repairs. She never misses. She is prompt, courteous, polite and tries to please me anyway she can. I would use her services again in a flash.

All work was done professionally and within two days. Mrs. Shipman even gave advice on was to save on wear and tear on the other blinds in our house. Will definitely use again!!

She disassembled the rod mechanism, determined which parts had broken, and replaced them with new parts before cleaning the rod and returning it to us. We had dropped the rod off with her on Monday afternoon and it was ready about 10AM the next day. When reinstalled, it worked perfectly.

She came to our home one day after I called, determined what part was needed to repair a horizontal blind, and then returned two days later with the part to complete the repair. Bess Shipman is a one woman Company and knows her business and will do a good job for you. I got my ladder for her to use because I have tall windows. I didn't mind since it is hard to find anyone who wants to be bothered with repairing verticals these days. I would recommend her to everyone.

Responded quickly to our phone call, gave us some things to try ourselves to fix the blinds before she came out. Those didn't work, so we made an appointment, which she kept. Unable to fix the blinds herself here, she took it home with her, repaired it and returned the next day. It was installed and now works properly.

Fantastic experience...one day turn around, repaired and inspected to prevent further problems. Needed the blind cause the window faced a traffic area, left our house exposed and hot due to exposure to sun. Blinds came back as good as new, cost very little to repair.

Bess was on time. She took all the blind panels off the vertical blind system. She was not able to fix the opening and closing mechanism. She did give us a quote for replacing the sliding/opening mechanism. However, during her work, her fingers got greasy from the mechanism, and most of our white panels now have black grease marks on them. I decided to replace the entire system with new blinds, mainly because it will take some time to clean off the grease marks. They don't come off easily.

Bess was contacted on Saturday morning, June 2, and she came out the same afternoon. She arrived on time, was very polite and expert at repairing blinds. She took the head rail down and adjusted/restrung the blinds on site. She is a one-person business and she is excellent at fixing blinds.

I HAD AN ANNOYING BLIND THAT WOULDN'T OPEN AND CLOSE PROPERLY. I CALLED BESS AND SHE REPAIRED IT THE SAME DAY. EVEN THOUGH THIS WAS A VERY SMALL JOB, SHE TREATED IT AS A LARGE ONE AND GAVE VERY FRIENDLY AND PROMPT SERVICE. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH HER SERVICE AND THE WORK SHE PERFORMED!
