+ 0 moreThe technician that was sent was "getting back into residential systems" and was not familar. The work required him to glue new contacts to the new windows and to reconnet the existing wires. It took him 35 minutes to complete the first contact, 25 minutes to complete the second contact, 20 minutes to complete the next six contacts and 10 minutes to test the system. All of this work should have been able to be completed in 30 by a knowageable technician. The next two hours were spent repairing a wire to the kitchen window that had been cut by carpet installers. Esentially, I paid for the training of this installer to learn about my alarm system. The rate for technicians is $90 per hour which would be OK if he had been knowageable. I would only use this company because they installed my system originally and would not recomment them for new customers.
Description of Work: Security Lock Systems installed my alarm system originally. I had windows replaced which required the replacement of 8 window contacts.

Description of Work: He replaced door knob mechanism with dissimilar product. We asked why not use same product and he lied, saying they dont make them anymore. We saw them later in Lowes. He also left a gap in the door. The door knob later fell apart.
