SEC Inspection Services

SEC worked with my availability and scheduled accordingly. Hector Blanco was on time, identified himself and was very professional. He was extremely thorough without being "picky" as my house is over 50 years old. His comment was although it was old, it was in good shape which put my mind at ease considering all the renovations I've done since I purchased it 30+ years ago. I was impressed by how quickly the report came back to me and my insurance company (well within the 24 hour time frame that was promised). I will use them again.

Third inspection for us in 3 months. For all 3 inspections we had Danny Coots who has been great. Danny thoroughly inspected to our satisfaction. Each report was emailed to us within hours detailing at length, the issues for our consideration of rejecting the houses - which we did with the first two. Separate from the overall report, Danny completed a 4 point inspection for homeowner insurance and termite inspection included in the $425.

Went very well. Dan, one of the owners is very professional, but still explained everything in an easy to understand manner for us. We knew this house was a "fixer upper" but there was far more hidden damage than we knew. We cancelled our offer to buy after the inspection, and are grateful that SEC saved us from getting a "money pit". This is the second prospective home purchase we have had Dan, and SEC, inspect for us. We are delighted with their service. They are prompt, polite, very reasonably priced. When you see the work they do for you for the money, you will also think it is a bargain. When buying a home anyone not getting a home inspection is foolish. It is a buyer beware market, and so worth the price of an inspection. We already have an appt. for Dan and the team to inspect the third home we are considering buying. Let's hope the third time's a charm. But if it isn't a sound home, the inspection will tell us. Can't recommend these folks enough.
