Wonderful! Fabulous! There are not enough superlatives for Hennie and his crews.

Could not have been better. We have had Schoeman Enterprises perform multiple projects for us and have been 100% satisfied each time. Jobs have included complete renovation of a bathroom and extensive wall and floor tile projects as well as paint and carpeting. After working with them the first time, we had no hesitation at all when we needed additional work done in other areas of the house. It was a pleasure working with this family owned company. We were completely comfortable with having each worker in our home and it may sound odd but actually missed having them around once the jobs were done. We most strongly recommend Mr. Schoeman and look forward to working with him and his family again in the future.

Everything went extremely well. I should add that we don't currently live in the house or in the United States and they were very accommodating to our situation. I was on site for the first week in the event of surprises in an old home, which we found with respect to the exterior walls. All aspects of the work were performed in a professional, quality manner. The follow up for the remaining work after I returned home was frequent and any little "add ons" we requested were completed without hesitation. Restoring the exterior walls required removal and replacement of a portion of the patio deck, all done in fine fashion. It was comforting to know that the surprise work could also be handled and the interaction with Abel and Hennie was always pleasant, informative, and considerate of our needs. When we move to Tampa permanently, my wife wants a new kitchen. Would not hesitate to use Schoeman again for any project. Some may be put off by the $150 estimate fee, but it is well worth it even if you choose someone else. They spent 30 minutes assessing bath and taking pictures. Received a very detailed estimate of labor and materials within a few days which was very useful when comparing with other bids. While other bids were comparable in terms of pricing, the level of detail was lacking - in which case I always assume the actual cost will go up based on lack of detail. When I received the Schoeman bid, it was obvious they'd done their homework and even if the actual cost differed, it would not be significant.

The Schoeman crew did an amazing job. The workmanship, timeliness, and professionalism were outstanding. We highly recommend them!

I was in need of having a sink repaired which fell through the counter top because of improper installation by the builder of my condo. The owner, Mr. Schoeman went way beyond his duty in helping me find a contractor that could repair and re-install our kitchen sink. Mr. Schoeman was very honest that he could not do the job because of a severe logjam of work orders. Mr. Schoeman told me what had to be done to fix the sink and how much it should cost. One of his recommended contractors repaired this problem ie Joseph Collette LLC. This company was very professional and repaired the sink properly and charged a very reasonable price. I recommend Shoeman Construction very much to anyone that uses his services.

The Schoemans are professional and courteous throughout the entire process. This was a major project involving our indoor and outdoor kitchens. They walked us through every step from the design to the selection of cabinets, counters, flooring and fixtures. The family was involved every step of the way and by the end of it their crew was like part of our family, too. We plan on hiring them again to do our bathrooms.

We are extremely pleased with how our projects were handled by Hennie and Abel. The two bathrooms and kitchen were beautiful when completed but even more important, communication during the projects was the best we've ever experienced. All the workmen and subcontractors that came into the house were professional and considerate of our home. At the end of each day, the work area was straightened and their best effort was given to disrupting our lives as little as possible. The estimates were accurate with the only overages being items that we added during the process or a few of the fixtures were we chose to go higher in cost than the estimate. Both projects were also completed within the timeframe we were given before the start. We highly recommend Schoeman Enterprises and would definitely use them again.

It went terrible. They had a gentlemen come over and they were scheduling plans at first on his end. We did not care for his demeanor. After the consultation that we had we decided to use someone else. He made it as if he was doing us a big favor. We never gave him any reason for that. After he scheduled the first and second appointment, he was an hour late. I will never call that number again.

One word: AMAZING. From the moment they stepped into our home it was obvious that they were different from other contractors. Hennie and his son Abel walked us step by step through the entire process. Their customer service was superb. They would respond to a question or a concern in a matter of minutes. They have several contractors that work with them full time and they treated our home as if it were their own. Unlike the stereotypical contractor these guys came everyday AND they cleaned up their mess. When there were issues that were uncovered they explained thoroughly what needed to happen and why they felt it warranted the extra cost. These men worked with integrity and our kitchen looks great. We would recommend them a thousand times over.

The first thing was that mold was discovered they handled that perfectly . Then my husband had to be hospitalized and they were incredibly helpful. The entire job went well. Ps. I’m sorry to be late in submitting this bad my husband continues to be very!

Although there were a variety of issues that arose with his subcontractors, Mr. Schoemann always displayed complete professionalism and courtesy.

I do not not pay companies to give me estimates, regardless if they will credit it towards the cost "if" I chose their company to do work. This is a typical ploy to get you to hire that company so you don't think you wasted money. If I paid every company to give me an estimate, since most people will get more than one would not be cost effective. It states "Free Estimates" right on their page, rather than stating it's only free if you hire them.

Schoeman Enterprises was one of seven companies who submitted a quote to renovate my bathroom. I needed to update a small, nearly 40 year old bathroom, into a modern one that will accomodate a roll-in shower chair, should the need arise. Having stayed in a number of poorly built hotel rooms, that were designed to accomodate a roll-in shower chair, I know that if the slope of the shower is poured improperly water will leak onto the bathroom floor, which can become a safety hazard. Although Hennie gave me a quote that was less expensive than most of the others, my main concern was the quality of the finished product. With a small area, and the need to maneuver a person in a wheelchair into the shower, sometimes even an inch or two can make the difference between success and failure. They widened the existing door, moved a wall, built the shower and sloped it without using prefab material and replaced the commode, vanity, sink, and medicine cabinet. Each member of the crew was professional and skilled. They were pleasant to be around and seemed to be concerned about pleasing my wife and me. We now have a beautiful bathroom which will function as we intended when we started out. I observed each step of the project and was never disappointed in the quality of work that I was seeing. Should the need arise, I will call Hennie Schoeman again, but won't bother to get other bids.

Hennie displayed kindness and professionalism from our first meeting. His staff and especially his family members, Abel and Hennie Jr.,worked hard to make sure I was happy with the results and to advise me along the way as the entire process took close to six weeks and was something I had never been through before. I cook and entertain a lot and my new kitchen looks fabulous and functions like I could only imagine before experiencing it. Everything has a place, plenty of storage, pots and pans in drawers under the cooktop countertop cupboards for appliances, drawers for dishes, it all works perfectly.

I am quite certain that the Schoeman team restored my faith in contractors. They are an amazing team of individuals who truly care about their customers - from start to the very finish. Hennie responded to my request for an estimate promptly. He brought a wealth of knowledge about the right "look" for the redesign based on the time period and location of our home but was receptive to my own design interests as well. He promised me a date two months out to begin; amazingly, the team was ready to start that exact week. Wow. Once the project began, I was always notified of the plan for the day/week and kept informed about any decisions that I would need to make. I felt that throughout the entire process, my design ideas were taken to heart. At times Abel or Hennie (son or father) advised me differently based on their wealth of experience in the field. I can honestly say that their suggestions hit the mark. My bathrooms are everything - and more - than I dreamed they would be. Most importantly, construction comes with strangers in your house. We did this project during the summer when my children were at home and we were trying to enjoy our "down" time. Every contractor who entered the home showed the utmost courtesy to us, our children, and even our pets. They respected our home as well by ensuring that other areas were not disturbed, that carpets were protected, etc. And the neatest thing about working with them is that I know their excellent customer rapport comes not only from concern about their business reputation. The Schoemans-father and sons-genuinely care for people and treat others as they would want to be treated. I feel so fortunate to have found Schoeman Enterprises and recommend them enthusiastically to anyone in need of help. We have already contacted them regarding future projects on our own home.

The bathroom came out much better than I expected. The work was very solid and professional. They managed to get everything everything we wanted in average size bathroom, and make it feel spacious, clean and comfortable.

Absolutely perfect. I honestly can't find the words to describe Hennie and his team. They are dedicated to the finest craftsmanship and are dedicated to customer satisfaction. Hennie and his team are extremely friendly, professional, reliable and trustworthy. The spent several months in my house and treated it as if they were in their own homes. No questions was dismissed and the team spend the necessary time to walk me thru each step of the way to ensure I was comfortable and my expectations were met. Schoeman Enterprise is not the cheapest contractor in town, however, like the old adage goes, you get what you pay for. Hennie and his son, Abel, along with the rest of their team, are great! They transformed our outdated kitchen to a timeless classic to complement our historic home -- white shaker cabinets to the ceiling, white and gray quartzite counters, and white subway tile backsplash. In the pantry area, Hennie worked with us to realize our plan for a butcher block countertop to add warmth to the kitchen. Our plan evolved over time, and they were flexible and meticulous in carrying it out. Their quality of work is exceptional, and we felt very comfortable leaving them in our home while we were at work. The project took longer than the six weeks we anticipated, but they had to deal with some surprises that occur when working on a 90-year-old home. If you want your work done fast and cheap, they are not for you. If you want it done right, call Hennie.

The Schoeman team is very courteous and professional. They are very deliberate in their planning and ensure everything is covered to our satisfaction. They are very precise in the execution and are mindful to avoid rushing through the project to ensure the highest quality. They were very respectful to our house and are trustworthy. On numerous occasions, we had to leave them in our house alone. They cleaned at the end of everyday and made sure they left the q in a clean condition. The payment schedule was very appropriate. I paid an equal amount every week throughout the project and the balance was paid at completion. Whenever decisions were needed at any time during the work, they did not proceed until they knew what we wanted. Our bathroom has never been this good looking and it is worth every dollar we spent. I highly recommend this company.

Hennie and his sons are businessmen of the highest integrity with a genuine understanding of how to provide excellent customer service. We were somewhat apprehensive about the process, as this was the largest remodeling project we?ve ever undertaken, but they made it as painless as possible. They addressed every question and concern with patience and thoughtfulness, and went the extra mile on even the smallest details to make sure that we were happy with the finished product. Abel kept us constantly updated on what had been completed and what was coming next. We were also very pleased with the work of their subcontractors, particularly their cabinet maker. We are delighted with the look and quality of our new kitchen (and laundry room) and highly recommend them.

Hennie and his team were excellent. They started work on the day planned, and finished on time; took over 6 weeks, which was perfectly justifiable. Hennie was dealing with a personal bereavement, and his son Abel was largely in charge. Abel was terrific - he pulled everything together, helped us with ideas, and was very pleasant and personable. Joining him was Hennie Jr., and a great team of professionals - painter, cabinet maker, granite fabricator, and many more. All were highly competent and professional; we had no worries about having them work in our house while we were not there. They were also kind enough to do a few minor things that came up during the remodeling - some extra painting and other things - and did not charge extra. Even when a few unexpected things came up, Abel dealt with everything and made sure that it all worked out. Hennie came out at the end to be sure it all was as we wanted. This was a major job, and having the Schoemans in charge made it much less stressful than it might have been if we had tried to contract out all the jobs ourselves. They have reliable teams that they work with regularly, as well as recommended places for granite, stone, etc. (although no requirement that you use them), and this helped a lot. We are delighted with our new kitchen, and we would certainly use them again. I am sure they are not the cheapest, but the work is great and they are a pleasure to do business with. Highly recommended!

They were very nice. He had a lot of ideas and he had a lot of new things that I had not thought off.
