Hennie and Abel really helped us realize our dream kitchen. We set out to get 2 or 3 quotes from Angie’s List type A rated contractors and ended up with 5, including some referrals from others. Schoeman was our first meeting and quote, and none of the subsequent others lived up to our first meeting with Hennie and Abel. Before the quote, we all discussed scope of work, timing and exchanged ideas. In a very timely manner, they delivered a thorough estimate with clear explanations and reasonable allowances that met our needs. They really listened to our ideas (cannot say the same for some of the others who just wanted to build “their” kitchen), always providing insight with their guidance. Once we committed, we had a pleasant follow up meeting to discuss specifics, lay out the cabinet design, job timing and payment schedule. We greatly appreciated the complete job perspective and always left discussions with clear expectations. Communication is the most important part of a project like this and they clearly deserve an A+ on this. Once the job began, we really saw their value. Every craftsman from their crew was pleasant and courteous and overly organized, and I cannot express how important that was based on horror stories we heard from others undergoing a project like this. Just as important as the project itself, was how comfortable we were with their long-term, tenured team members (in most cases, more than 10 years working together). We truly enjoyed having every member in our house, and we cannot say the same for other projects we have done. They removed walls, raised our ceiling, trenched our floor for electrical and plumbing, and all with minimal to no disruption and dust, and during the beginning of a pandemic! They worked with us during the worst part of the pandemic completing the job on time and we are very grateful for all of their effort. Our kitchen is truly a dream come true, and we couldn’t be more pleased. We consider them friends now, and I’m unsure how many folks can say that after a project like this in best of times, let alone during these crazy times. I am very happy with the work done by Schoeman Enterprises. The work performed was outstanding, and the process was straightforward. Schoeman Enterprises is the company you want to use when you don't want your remodel project to be a headache. The workers were all exceptional, prompt and polite. I appreciated that Hennie and Abel came by every few days to check on the work, but they were rarely needed. A+ all around, and I will hire them again for my next project.

Where do I start to describe our experience with this business? “Expectations exceeded.” I will briefly describe our journey with this family. Consultation with Hennie Sr. - knowledgeable and experienced, extremely personable. We had specific wants, Hennie helped conceptualize what would be involved and how to improve on our vision. He returned in a timely manner with a detailed blueprint for our master bathroom, along with an itemized material and labor list. Through the entire process, the original blueprint and pricing has held to be accurate. Dates were set; our renovation began and ended on schedule. Demolition was CLEAN - our house was not affected by the demo. Mats were laid and stored daily for the path of the workers. The workspace was swept and tidied daily so that we could see what had been completed that day. Any questions or concerns were discussed at length. This team keeps all parties well informed in prompt fashion. Workers were present on-time everyday they were scheduled, putting in full work days. The skill and effort that was put in to our bathroom really shines through with the finished product. You can see the finished product in the pictures. My wife and I LOVE our new bathroom. By the time our bathroom was completed, my wife and I actually missed having these guys in the house. That says a lot. Each and everyone that passed through our front door had a good personality and we felt comfortable with them being in the house. Special thanks to Charlie, Almir, and Hennie Jr. Charlie absolutely blew my mind with the detailed precision and quality of the tile installation. Kudos to him for still having me rave about that feat (our original walls were quite uneven with the new dry wall). What more can I say? This team has it all. Experience, reputation, quality, and an absolute pleasure to work with. I have already recommended Schoeman Construction to my family, friends, co-workers, and patients. Wonderfully! This is the best possible bathroom remodel anyone could hope for. Everything was perfect. I picked the prettiest things I could find but Schoeman Construction put it all together. Thank you so much for a job very, very well done. I wish there were more stars I could give you.

Excellent. They are true professionals in every sense of the work. Reliable, skilled, incredible work, and willing to negotiate price and needs. Highly recommend Schoeman. Its not easy to turn over a key and have someone in your condo doing construction when you are not there. Completely & totally trusted these folks. Very nice and personable. Overall, Schoeman Construction did an excellent job, as they always have for us. We first used their services when they replaced our builder's grade shower stall with a beautiful frameless shower (See my previous review). We were so pleased with that work, we hired them to overhaul our kitchen...another fantastic & professional project.

They are extremely sensitive to my situation. Their price is the best I could hope for.

Hennie and Abel, and their entire crew, were great to work with. Not only do we love our new bathroom, the work was done on time and at a fair price. They communicated with us throughout the entire process. We have now remodeled almost our entire home, and I only wish I knew about Schoeman Construction sooner. I highly recommend them.

Schoemann enterprises did a wonderful job of my kitchen. The gentleman that makes the kitchen cabinets and the father/son team that did the backsplash tiling were exceptional. The entire team was a pleasure to work with, and each person ensured that a quality job was performed !! A pleasure to work with the Schoeman family - Father (Hennie) and Sons (Abel and Hennie Jr) - and all the team !! Altogether a very professional and customer service oriented team.

One thing I am grateful for this holiday season is the Schoeman team! We had a list of contractors whom we were going to interview for our kitchen renovation. The Schoemans were the first, and we were so impressed that we immediately cancelled all other consultations and immediately signed with the Schoemans. They were completely professional, caring, and kind. They provide top-notch service and craftsmanship. They kept us in the loop every step of the way. When I informed them that my wife was going to be induced earlier than expected and that we would be moving into our new home with our new baby, they did everything possible to accommodate us and finished our kitchen in time. Our kitchen was hideous and an absolute mess before the Schoemans came. The Schoemans completely transformed our kitchen into a showstopper. It is now the heart of our home, and will be enjoyed for many years to come. We brag to all of our friends and family about our new kitchen and the work that the Schoemans have done. We highly recommend them!

This was my second experience working with Hennie and Abel Schoeman. They are truly always a pleasure to deal with. They are always willing to answer a question I have. They recently did some floor tile repairs in our master bathroom and the work was beautifully done. There is no one I would trust to do the quality work with tile. They have a great team and they are always my first go to for home projects. Highly recommend!!

The Schoeman team took an old, outdated kitchen and turned it into a complete showstopper. They were attentive, professional, caring, and involved in every step of the process. This project went very well and was completed in seven weeks. I can't say enough good things about this company. They do quality work with everything done carefully and thoroughly. When there are decisions about how something should be installed, they take the time to ask you what you would prefer before they do the work. If there are questions or adjustments you would like to make, they are quick to respond in a favorable way. They are trustworthy, polite, courteous and friendly. They came almost every work day to complete this project and let us know when they would have to miss a day. You never felt out of the loop. Besides the two main workers on this job, they used specialists for countertops, glass installation, and painting that work for them all the time and are of the same nature. This is our second project with this company - they remodeled our kitchen which also went well. We plan to use them once again for our master bath remodel. You won't go wrong using this company for remodeling!

The entire Schoeman team was excellent! But especially Etni and Abner; i thought i was a perfectionist until I saw their work. 130 Sq. Ft. master bathroom completely remodeled including new soaking tub, open shower with fixed head and a handheld, new vanity, new granite counter top with under mount sinks, new toilet, new tile and marble and of course all the accessories. They do extras most people wouldn't think of, like replacing the shower and tub traps as well as the sinks, painting the ceiling even though there wasn't any work done on it, sealing the stone twice and installing tile shoe base. Could be one of the best project experiences I have been involved with and I was in the construction trade 39 years. They were here everyday and worked hard but efficiently and cleaned up everyday. They completed this major project a few days early and even though there were concealed deficiencies and within budget. You couldn't go wrong hiring this team

I have really grown to appreciate the difference it makes when a company takes pride in what they do. When they truly care about the clients and the projects they do. The attention to detail and results really show. I feel so grateful in finding Schoeman Enterprises not only for our bathroom remodel but as a company as a whole. The results were absolutely stunning and it was one of the most easy renovation projects I have ever been through. Highly recommend!

Initial conversations with Hennie were very good and professional. Hennie came out and spent over an hour with my wife and I discussing the scope of the project, our vision and what we were looking for. Hennie was very collaborative with feedback and offering design ideas. Hennie was also the only contractor that required a $150 consultation and design fee. All other contractors offered this as a free service. My wife and I were then disappointed to then find out that the $150 did not include a visual design, but only a scope of work and bill of materials that we were to sign off on. We were also disappointed that the initial estimate came in $25-$30k over the other estimate we revived from other contractors. We were expected to sign off on this scope and bill of materials without seeing a visual design on how all this would come together and aligned to our vision. Ultimately we decided to go with another contractor and have been very pleased with our choice.

Schoeman Enterprises is a great contractor. We just completed an extensive kitchen remodeling, and whether it was the planning, materials or labor, they were just outstanding. They were trustworthy, courteous and took the time and effort to make sure everything was done well. When something didn't turn out quite like we had envisioned, they were flexible and quick to respond to make adjustments. This was a very positive experience for us, which we know is not often the case when working with contractors. We are going to be using them for two more large renovation projects in the coming year. We highly recommend this company.

They did a great job! They did everything they said they would do and when they said they'd do it! Started the job and worked until it was done - showing up every day. Employees (not contract workers) were clean, on time and trustworthy. I was happy to work with such a great family owned business. Would easily recommend to family.

It went very well. The painting team were very deliberate and methodical in preparing surfaces and ensuring furniture and floors were protected. They really are the best at what they do; they are clean and trustworthy. I had no problem leaving them alone in the house as it was sometimes needed. I went to them last year for major remodeling projects in the master bath room and one full bath room. Work is impeccable. Money well spent. I go to them all the time.

This company, it's owners and employees, exceeded our every expectation. The finished projects are wonderful, and the works-in-progress were completed with expertise and punctuality, and within quoted budget. All of the surprises were welcome-finished edges, dust reduction, coordination of their schedule with ours, etc. For any future remodel projects, we will return to the capable hands of Hennie and Abel!

Excellent. Schoeman Enterprises employs only experienced workers who take pride in the quality of their work. Every stone and tile mason, plumber, carpenter and electrician who worked on our home was a consummate professional.

The remodel went extremely well it was very easy to work with the Schoeman's. They completed the job on time and within the original budget. They were always easy to get ahold of and quick to answer any questions. They are very easy to talk to and do not pressure you into something you don't want. I would highly recommend Schoeman Enterprises for anyone doing a kitchen or bathroom remodel.
