Brian and Nicole were one of the most responsive teams I have ever worked with. Brian is incredibly knowledgeable about Florida Friendly (low water requirements) design, listened carefully to what we were trying to achieve, and presented a plan that is darn near perfect. I would recommend their services to anyone who wanted a high quality and personalized landscape design.

I saw his ad in Angie?s magazine. We set up initial appointment for him to look at the property, take some photos. He spent over an hour, generously giving us advice and suggestions. He returned in a couple weeks with a proposal. In the interim, he offered many websites and web photos of possible plants for our yard. When he gave us the initial plan and I didn?t like some of his suggestions, he readily changed them to plants equally as good. He came out again with the installer, with whom he has an excellent, working relationship, thus building immediate trust for installer. The final part of the project, installation, is going well.

The transformation was incredible and better than we ever imagined. Brian Schatz spent so much time with us during this 3+ month process. He took our bare input and created an amazing oasis in our backyard, which was just dirt with a couple of sad trees and plants. Our weed-infested front yard is now a cohesive showplace that complements the architecture of our home. His attention to detail is extraordinary, and his suggestions for changes yielded amazing results. Brian didn't just provide the plans, he re-engineered our driveway and sidewalk, addressed drainage issues, camouflaged undesirable views and highlighted hidden features. We have a beautiful mix of plants that are cold-hardy, low maintenance, and attract birds and butterflies. Brian was always available for consultations as questions arose and when changes were necessary. Brian is truly an expert; his knowledge about plants and their care (or destruction, i.e. weeds) is unsurpassed. Our neighbors are amazed with the changes and go out of their way to compliment us. Brian was a pleasure to work with. He advised us on the smallest of details and educated us along the way. I can't emphasize enough the benefits of careful planning with an expert before beginning a landscape project. We wholeheartedly recommend Schatz Landscape Design to anyone who will listen. We are so glad we trusted this expert. It was a small price to pay for an incredible outdoor retreat that we intend to enjoy for years to come.

He was really awesome. He gave me a lot of tips and he was really helpful. He sent me an email with all kinds of tips without any charge. He works with more high end and bigger jobs. He suggested plants and fertilizer, which were very helpful.

We are very pleased with the Florida Landscape design. Originally, we wanted to do much of the work ourselves but thankfully, we decided to use the landscaper that was recommended to do 90% of the work. The finished product looks great but, we didn't realize how much time everything would take from start to finish or how many different aspects would go into creating a new landscape. For various reasons, the design stage took several months before it was completed.

They had someone come out and clear the old landscaping out. They are very professional and did a nice job. He also gave us names of different plants and explained everything to maintain the landscaping.

He did an outstanding job and knows what he doing and is very professional.

He has done a very good design and he's very knowledgeable. He carries around pictures of other designs that he as done. He's very nice and personable. Price is $75.00 per hour.

WE WANTED SOMETHING NATURAL AND THEY WERE ABLE TO DO THAT. THEY WERE KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT RESOURCES. EXCELLENT IN UNDERSTANDING CUSTOMERS NEEDS AND WORKING WITHIN THAT RANGE.
