RMT responded promptly to our request for an estimate. Once we approved the estimate they scheduled the work to coordinate with other ongoing active jobs, but a halt on another job due to an issue that a different contractor had to resolve before they could continue allowed them to fit my one-day work in shortly after we agreed to the estimate, so that was great. The work was done exactly as we requested and in a professional manner. Rick insured that the new run of block was securely tied in with the existing wall. We're very satisfied with the work and appreciate the fact that it was a small job that a lot of other larger firms wouldn't take. We will definitely check with RMT for an estimate on any other masonry work we have in the future, as well as any paver needs.

My husband ran into our neighbor's block and stucco mailbox, demolishing it. We had to get it fixed quick to keep relations good. Rick was excellent. He was responsive to my call, came when he said he would, and did a great job. We were very pleased.

Rick Tucker @ RMT is great. He is responsive, easy to deal with and does what he says he will when it is supposed to be done. I had used him 13 years ago to install my brick walkway when I first bought my home. I called him again recently and he was at my home the next day and gave me a very fair quote on the spot. I hired him and he did the work in the next few days. RMT is a refreshing choice in the world of home repairs and I highly recommend them.

I can not say enough about RMT Masonry. On 2/29/2013, I called several concrete companies and received very high quotes to repair a section of sidewalk about 6 x 6 in size. When I called RMT Masonry, Rick said he really could not give me a fair estimate over the phone and asked if I would be at home after noon hour. About a couple of hours after I called Rick and Tucker arrived to look at the repair that needed to be done.They gave me a price of 500.00 and asked if that would be ok. It was definitely ok! They said they could come back on Monday morning and the job would take about 4 hours to do. I had a Drs. appointment Monday morining but I felt very confortable leaving Rick and Tucker to do their job. I arrived back home just as they were finishing up with the repaving of the sidewalk. When I saw the new sidewalk I was really impressed. This was quality work! Having had other concrete work done at our home before I was prepared to have to clean up extra concrete after the repair was done. Rick and Tucker were extremely neat with their work, there was not any extra concrete remaining in the grass area or on our retaining wall. I was so impressed with these gentlemen and their company. I have asked them for an estimate of taking out a section of our retaining wall and building steps and a sidewalk up to the house. These guys are genuine businessmen. Thank you Rick and Tucker!

I phoned Rick last week and he immediately answered the phone. He has a great memory for detail as he remembered me from a previous job he performed for me over two years ago. He stopped by the house the following evening to look at the old mailbox. He quoted me a price for removing the old mailbox, which was cemented in stone, and replace it with a new mailbox. He said he would be able to do the job the following week. Rick said he would telephone me the evening before to let me know his schedule. Rick phoned me the evening before and told me he would arrive the following morning with his brother, Randy. Rick and Randy arrived promptly as promised. Rick had to chip out the old mailbox, remove the top layer of stone, replace with the new mailbox, and cement the new mailbox into the stone. The price for the job came in at a lower price that Rick quoted and that made my day!! The end result is that the new mailbox looks great, and once again, Rick and Randy came to my rescue! Thanks, guys, for all of your hard work and such a superb job!!

Mr. Tucker did a great job and I would not hesitate to recommend him.

We started a project to add stone pillars to our front entryway and had completed construction of the concrete block posts, application of metal lath, and partial application of the scratch coat on part of one post. Realizing we were over our head in the DIY World, and with trepidation that we would be able to find a professional to rescue us, we turned to RMT Masonry. Rick came to look at the project the day after our call. He completely understood our vision, and proposed to us a mutually agreeable price. He laid out a schedule for completion of the project within a week. Rick and Randy were GREAT to work with, and without reservation, we give them the highest recommendation! RMT Masonry did a fantastic job, and provided excellent customer service! I called RMT at the last minute looking for someone to pour a concrete slab to hold our new sliding glass doors (we were unaware that our existing doors had been installed incorrectly, and had no support underneath them. The company installing our new doors required that the concrete slab be extended in order to install them properly and warranty them). I found RMT on Angie's List, and Rick came out the next day, on a Saturday, to give us an estimate. He worked with our door installers to make sure the concrete could be poured at a time that would minimize how long our home would be left open without the doors. They performed their job as planned, and communicated with us continuously. The slab looks great! It also helped that both Rick and Randy are very personable and easy to work with!

Rick stopped by a week ago to look at the damage to our subdivision wall. He was very professional and personable. He gave us a quote and told us he would do the work in less than a week. When the day arrived to perform the work, he phoned us to say exactly what time he would arrive and that Randy would arrive earlier to begin the work. Rick and Randy worked non-stop until all of the work was completed. They were very thorough, professional, and communicated all along what was being done. We are extremely pleased with their work and would definitely recommend them and use them for any future repairs. Thanks, Rick and Randy, you two are lifesavers!!

Perfect. They understood what we wanted and made it happen. We had a problem with rain water flowing into the carport and Rick suggested installing a Deco drain at the gate opening. They also laid the pavers so water would drain away from the house and it works great. We solved an old problem and have a beautiful pathway into the patio & backyard.

Beautiful work. Rick & Randy arrived early and stayed on our job until it was finished. Even though the bricks are old & used the end result is a fairly smooth surface. They made sure the patio is sloped enough for rain to drain off. Rick also suggested a border along the edge which we really like.

Rick is meticulous with his work. He matched the mortar to the existing brickwork & was very particular to select bricks with the right mix of colors. The opening was not perfectly square so he made adjustments with the mortar so the lines would still be level. Also, some of the old bricks were different sizes! He did a great job.

Great, as always. Rick is always on time and sticks with the job 'til it's finished. He's done work for us in the past with great results. When we decided to relocate the gate, I didn't get any other estimates. I knew we had to get someone who knew what they were doing to blend the old wall with the new section. You can't tell where the wall was patched, the bricks match perfectly, the wrought iron gate swings correctly and we're very happy with the results.
