RE/MAX ACR ELITE GROUP INC

After I contacted her to rent a condo, she found a landlord willing to rent but she did not engage the process in a professional manner. She submitted to me an irregular Application for Residency where a Non-refundable $2,500.00 deposit was required but she did not submit at the same time for review a copy of the intended lease contract. Also, she did not provide me at all with explanations and enough time to analyze considering such unconventional document. The complete deposit was forfeited even thou I never accepted or signed the lease, entered into and/or had possession of the property. How can the Application for Residency deposit (not the lease deposit) be non-refundable until I read and agree on the lease terms? Nevertheless, I have tried several times and ways to solve this matter with her and the landlord but it has been unsuccessful. I hope that no other prospect tenants fall in this type of deception where the realtor and landlord by means of ambiguous and unclear wording try to force a lease without the prospect tenant's consent.
