Description of Work: I called because the downstairs a/c on my almost 3 year old house wasnt working. at all. They sent Chris out right away who assessed the situation and also imspected my other upstairs a/c. They found out the blower motor part was under warantee --contacted the original company and got me the motor for free and put it in the next afternoon. Both times the repairman Chris showed promptly and was professional in appearance and both my dog and 6 year old daughter enjoyed his company and he said they werent interupting him as had tried to get them to leave him alone. This price includes the inspection and some basic mainanance of the other unit. I did not expect to have it all fixed so soon and they kept in contact about scheduling and the warantee throughout.

Description of Work: Called REM when Air Conditioning went out one hot summer/fall evening. Despite calling in the morning, REM had a person on call and over to my house in a very short amount of time. Service professional was very nice and immedietly after looking over the situation, determined that the system was failing to drain. In no time, he rectified the problem and got the system working. In further looking at the problem, the service man noticed that the drainage system was poorly constructed, whereas the ac drain was merged with the much smaller washer drain. He immedietly quoted me a price, and two weeks later, the service man and two other company workers (just as nice) came out and took care of the problem. The system has been running great from the moment the technician came to the house, and I am confident I wont be seeing that problem again. I would HIGHLY recommend REM for any probelms in the future.

Description of Work: Bill replaced a blower motor on a 2007 Carrier air handler, he did a good job. They came out on a Sunday and did the first visit and had to come back on Monday for the install. I think it was a little expensive but they got me back up and running and the repair man was here for 4 or 5 hours and at one time I had two guys here working on the system, so all in all I am happy.

Description of Work: A/C was not blowing cool air. Tech determined it was low on freon. He replaced freon and we are waiting to see if it leaks out again. Apparently, he didn't find any leaks. The tech. was there in about an hour after I called. Pretty darn good!!

We recently installed a 4 ton Rheem 2 stage heat pump condenser SEER 16, with 4 ton Rheem air handler. The team arrived on time and ready to start. They were professional in all their work . They also reconfigured our duct work to supply air where needed. We have been trying for years to get the air flow fixed and REM was the first company to identify the problem and provide the necessary adjustments. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best, we rank REM as a 11!

Description of Work: He cleaned out the ac drain, It had been leaking on the garage floor. Discovered a burned out wire on the ac unit causing the compressor not to work. Fixed that & the nice cold air started to work again. He went up into our attic (at our request) to check for air leaks in the ductwork. He did find some & said it could be fixed by them but we would probably be better off having TECO come out to do the work. Said it would be more expensive but we would get a rebate.

Description of Work: The estimate was quick and thorough. The salesman had years of experience and knew how to to get the most efficiency out of our existing duct work. The job was done in one day; they arrived on schedule with neatly groomed and polite workers. Very impressed with their experience and knowledge.

Description of Work: We had a problem with our A/C this Saturday. Joe the tech was out to our place in 10 minutes. He installed a new motor and capacitor with in an hour, cleaned out our unit, and checked the air handler. He even diagnosed a leak in our kitchen faucet from outside. Very professional and excellent timing. The price was 490.00 because our Freon was low and we needed 2lbs which was an extra $70. I highly recommend REM.

Description of Work: A/C stopped working on one of the hottest days of the year. We did not know what the problem was. REM had a technician out within a few hours. He was clean polite and knowledgeable. He cleaned and serviced the A/C as well as repaired a broken dual capacitor.
