REDI ROOTER

We were referred to Redi-Rooter through a friend who uses them commercial and private contract jobs. Our friend advised that Redi-Rooter is his go-to plumbing service. I called at 9:30am on a Thursday. By 2pm, the plumbers were fixing our pipe. They were done by 3pm. We knew that our pipes were old/galvanized and would need to be replaced. The plumbers confirmed this, but said they could replace just the section of pipe that broke as a short-term fix while we budget for a full replacement of our pipes. The cost they charged us was reasonable and appropriate--less than we expected, really. The plumbers were very friendly, and, in light of all the work they had done for our contractor friend--places we'd visited many times--it was clear to me that they could be trusted. We definitely will use them again.

They charged me $700 to replace a 20 gallon water heater. I looked it up online and the water heater only cost $400 at most. They charged me $700 to install the water heater which was outrageous. At the same time, I needed to have my water pipes replaced. I figured that since they got all the pipes exposed, we would go ahead and do that now. So, I asked them to give me an estimate and I called them a couple of times but they never got back to me with an estimate. I finally had to go with somebody else. They really ticked me off because I was waiting but they never got back to me plus that fact that, they charged me $700 to install the water heater. I had used them a number of times previously. The work was okay, it was the charge was ridiculous! They were punctual and did the job. They were not too professional. I would tell a friend not to use them. I wouldn't use them again in future.

I could have done the job if I had the right tools. They changed out a couple of simple parts, I thought it was a bit pricey, but they did good work. I don't mind paying for good workmanship.
