They did exactly what I wanted. The service was very good. They were nice and did a good job.

The workers at Red Cap are very good. They showed up on time, cleaned up, and were very tidy. The only complaint I have is that they were a little expensive, but I would use them again.

They are not expensive and they are excellent. When we called them they sent some body to look at the problem. If they are able to do it right away they will do it or if it has to be rescheduled they will reschedule it. We didn't have any problems with them. They attached some kind of pressure release valve behind the washing machine.

I chose them because they were A rated and their prices seemed to be better. I called yesterday and the lady was really nice and professional. She booked me an appointment for today and said that they would call me before they came out. The appointment was between 10 and 12, and she called at 11:30 to say someone was on their way. It couldn't have gone more smoothly. Paul came out to do the work. He was friendly and seemed to know what he was doing. He was very clean. There was no problem at all with Paul. It took him about 45 minutes to do the job. He also snaked one of my toilets to make sure there wasn't anything in it.

The house was originally plumbed for a bathtub in the master bath, but when we bought the house it was a shower. We decided to make it a bathtub again, so the drain needed to be re-opened. Within three hours I had a bathtub in my master bath and pipes reconfigured for tub and shower. I was very pleased with the professionalism of the guys from estimate start to completion. I will use them again.

We were really happy with the way it was handled. They seemed really knowledgeable. They found the plug and eliminated it. The price seemed a little steep.

I called the company on Wed. and spoke to Amanda. I explained that my kitchen sink was backing up and if possible could they send someone out on Thursday morning. Amanda told me that she could send someone between 8 and 9 am and that she would call to let me know when the plumber was on his way; which she did. The plumber, Eddy showed up on time and was very courteous. He explained that if he tried to clean out the drain the odds of not causing a leak were great because of how old the plumbing was. The only way to fix it was to put in a new plumbing line. He explained that he would have to take out a concrete block from the outside wall to fix the problem.He told me everything he was going to do and the materials he would be using. I had been thinking about replacing my faucet and drain baskets with chrome fixtures and as it happenes he had one on his truck so I had him do that at the same time. The only thing he couldn't do was replace the piece of concrete wall. We knew someone that could do that so that was not a problem. He gave me the estimate for all the work and it seemed reasonable. I felt very confident that he knew what to do so I was not concerned with getting other estimates. I'm happy to say that everything worked out just great. He showed me the old plumbing when he took it out and it was defintely a good thing we replaced it. I was extremely pleased with the work and the way it was performed.

Our son and daughter-in-law live on the West Coast but have a home in Florida that they rent out. Over a weekend the tenants reported that there was a small leak in the gas water heater that kept extinguishing the pilot so they were not getting hot water. A call was made to RED CAP PLUMBING on Sunday evening and they scheduled a service call for early Monday morning. The service technician, Eddie, called when we was a few minutes away so we could meet him there. He quickly determined that the 20 year old water heater was rusting out and needed to be replaced. He identified the best type of replacement heater and was able to describe it by phone to our daughter-in-law 2000 miles away and answer all her questions so she could authorize the work. He identified the problem, obtained the new water heater and installed it all in less than 3 hours. We were impressed that this contractor has plumbing specialists just for water heaters. Eddie was extremely knowledgeable and even provided some suggestions for maintenance. He was also very organized and neat so that we did not need to do any clean-up after he was finished.

When I advised the plumber that his price was too high, he informed me that his trip charge was $29.95. When I mentioned that I had a coupon for $20.00 from Angie's List, he informed me that they could only accept that coupon if the work was done. We have used them in the past and been happy with their work and their charges. However, I will not be calling them again due to their inflexibility and and exhorbitant charges.

The plumber was nice and on time. He was very friendly. He did a good job. He came back and fixed something that we didnt know was wrong. He followed up after he finished his work. While he was working he explained what he was doing. I would use them again if I need a plumber.

They were excellent. They were timely and efficient. They were a little bit expensive.

They were on the List and had an A rating so I called them right away. They came out the very next day and showed up on time. They were very professional and got in and out. They were great and they followed up with a nice thank you note. I recently saw them on a commercial. They are highly visible these days.

Came same day they received my online request. Decided not to replace system, based on my circumstances.

The plumber who came out from Red Cap was very good. He came to change the water heater and he found a different leak that was causing extensive damage to our house. He was persistent with finding where the leak was coming from. He found a major problem in the attic that had been causing unnoticeable damage. He was very prompt, clean and thorough. If he had not noticed the leak when he did it would have cost us a lot of money for repair.

The company was very prompt in responding to my call. They were able to fit me in that day. Paul was very courteous, professional and explained the problem. Though the price was more than I anticipated, I thought Paul did a very good job. They also provide a one year warranty on all their work. So, for that, I think it is worth going w/a company that does good work even though it might be a little bit more expensive. Paul had mentioned that our outside piping had been fixed a couple of times and still was easily damaged b/c of cheap piping.

The price quote was $535.00. I got a quote for much less from another Angie's List plumber so I went with them. Given that extra issues came up, I probably would have had to pay even more than the quote. The office staff and the service personnel are all very professional and pleasant. I am sure the company does fine work; however, their pricing isn't within my budget.

They are really, really good. They are able to make repairs without messing anything. I had a pipe that broke in the wall, so they went in through the closet to avoid messing up my wallpaper. If I ever have a plumbing problem, I call them.

We discovered a major water leak on our side of the water meter on a Sunday afternoon. We signed up for Angie's list on the spot and called Red Cap to come out based on the comments recorded for the company. The repair man returned our call within a few minutes and arrived within the estimated time frame. Fixed the breakage in the line for the estimated cost.

Thomas arrived for the Sunday morning service call within 45 minutes. He located both lines and cleared roots out of the problem line, and checked the flow in both lines. As an add on I had a toilet valve and flapper replaced.

Serviceman arrived on time and proceeded to perform work after providing an estimate. Needed to visit hardware store for parts not in his inventory requiring the repair to take longer than should have. The job was cleanly handled and otherwise done in a professional manner.

The first guy they sent out didn?t retrieve the helicopter. He pulled out a bunch of toilet paper and figured that was it. When the toilet backed up again a few days later, they came and tried again. I think they were a little surprised to retrieve the helicopter. Usually toys are pushed down the pipes becuase they are small and sleek, but with the blades in their formation, the tiny helicopter was a mighty force to be reckoned with! When it came back up from the muck, they asked if I wanted to clean it and keep it but I tossed it. They refunded the charge of the initial visit.

They were very polite, and they gave me a lot of options and let me make my own decisions. When I told them what I wanted they were very prompt in getting it done. They were very good!
