The plumber did what he was suppose to do, However, $200.00 for 15 minutes of work is a little steep in my humble opinion.

Installation of a toilet, garbage disposal and a kitchen faucet- Both gentlemen that were here were very professional and did their job quickly and accurately. I was very pleased with the outcome of all of the work done.

From the scheduling to install, every person I dealt with was nothing but professional. They worked to gain me as a customer the right way, touting themselves and not belittling others. Friends recommended them and I will do the same for anyone who needs their services! Good company because they have good employees who care!

Had to replace drain pipe in the shower in master bathroom.

So far its the best estimate I have gotten. I will most likely hire them. They did an excellent job.

Very well. We did not have any issues. The service was straightforward. They answered all my questions. Because of their service and the way they interacted with me, I actually signed a maintenance contract with them.

The tech was professional and very nice. He was on time and completed the tasks quickly. I would hire them again. John Guzman was my techs name. The stoppage price was a little high, but I’m no longer standing in ankle deep water when I shower so I’m happy.

Overall it went great. I got service within a couple hours of when I called for the repair. The service guys, Adrian & Tyler, were very careful to put booties on each time they entered the home. Once reviewing the project they gave us options, and of course, we were shocked at the pricing to just reset the toilet. Naturally we took the cheapest price. And Adrian & Tyler did a fine job and were careful to clean up around the job. I did rate the price and professionalism down a little bit as (1) we feel the price was high for the job, (2) the quoted price was not what we were originally charged on the tablet used for billing in the home, nor was the 5% discount applied. I did not discover this until I got the email version and noticed with the breakdown it was missing. I called the office immediately and talked to Adrian (?) and he apologized for the mistake and said it was a slip up since he was in the middle of training, but he would make sure my credit card was adjusted and he would give to "Christine" to take care of right away. I was thinking I'd see in a couple days. (3) I knocked down the professionalism as I did have to call the office a couple times when after a week I still not see the credit online. Turns out there was a process - manager approves and then controller issues credit. I understand there are rules, but keep in touch with your customer and let them know. As I said overall this was a good experience and I would hire them again. Thank you for standing behind the price and discount I was quoted and making it good.

Better than expected. Old equipment was still working so we were surprised at the quick appointment time given the demands of the season. Technicians were on time, courteous, and knowable and it was obvious they “wanted” to do a professional job. Lennox 10 year parts and warranty was a nice addition.

We were without house water for 6 days, however we have 2 meters, one for house and one for the yard. So we were able to manage since the yard line was still working. Red cap worked 2 full days with 2 to 3 men on the job. Because we had to wait several days before they could start (apparently they are quite busy here in Tampa with this problem) we were given a new and bigger water heater. During this project they hit the yard line and it broke, but they immediately fixed it. However the line being old (50 years) it broke again later that evening. We turned the water off at the street and waited till morning when we had to rehire them to replace the lawn pipes. Some of the work was delayed due to Tampa rains. So this was two back to back projects. All water lines now run overhead through the crawl space between the roof and the ceiling.

While our entire house had to be re-piped (see previous report) the separate water line for the yard was first damaged and then because of age (50 years) had to be entirely replaced. We have 2 separate meters, one for the house and one for yard water, which does not get as heavily taxed. After installation it was determined there was still a leak, the city was called out to check their equipment and deemed it okay.. Red Cap digs a trench every 10 feet to check connections and finds no problems. Red Cap determines the yard meter curb is leaking and recalls the City. City replaces the house meter and repairs yard curb stop on yard meter and then all is well. Owners of said house by this time are exhausted!

Anthony from Red Cap came out and got the job done quickly at a fair price. (I'm not a plumbing expert so forgive me if my vocabulary on this is a bit off). He ran a snake tool into the kitchen sink and cleared out whatever was blocking the drain line. He did the same thing in the bathroom. Both sinks are draining at full speed now.

I already had a bad taste in my mouth from these guys from the first time I called (see my first F review) This time I called and scheduled a guy to come out and this time they didnt hassle me to pay a fee to show up. Guy hops out of his van, lights up a cigarette and tells me its going to be $250 flat just to jump on the roof and check the vent. I said no thanks and he said "okay, then I need you to pay the appointment fee." I never agreed to pay anyone anything and I have nothing to uphold. The guy was at my house blowing smoke in my face for 45 seconds, what exactly would I owe him? Its a well known fact among plumbers that Red Cap is a sales-driven company and they hardly will take their seatbelt off for less than $200. Dont believe me, read the glassdoor review my former employees: "Encouraged to maximize profit for company by finding more issues in a home. Mandatory neuro linguistic training on how to manipulate customers and deflate their anxiety about being ripped off so they think they're getting a good deal. Prices are absolutely outrageous."

The outcome was wonderful. The problem was identified within 30 minutes and pipe replaced. Gabby and his crew were professional and respectful of property. I would definitely recommend this company.

We have used Red Cap Plumbing for many years and been very happy with them. We called late Friday and got an appointment for Monday morning. The expected time was 10-1. I was offered an earlier time but indicated I didn't not want someone any earlier. I received a call at 8 a.m. asking if they could come at 9 instead. So I agreed to let them come on out. The plumber arrived promptly and assessed the clog. I was told the cost would be $240. My husband had already taken the pipes apart, so this was just for clearing the drain. They did not feel that they would need to go up on the roof it could be done from the kitchen sink area. Then the plumber went to his truck to get the price of the piece of pipe that needed to be replaced. I was quoted an additional $211 for the pipe. This brought the estimate to $451. We declined. My husband picked up the pipe at Home Depot for $18. We will not be calling Red Cap Plumbing again. The rating is not a reflection of the plumber that came out as he was very helpful and professional.

Roger is a good guy and did an excellent job! I will definitely recommend him and absolutely use him, again.

Technician arrived about 30 minutes later than was last advised. He removed the set screw holding the handle in (I had tried but had the wrong size Allen wrench) and said the cost would be $300. I expected it to cost between $100-150 and was shocked. He did the job for $200 which I thought was excessive also. He was here for a total of 35 minutes and had no trouble with the replacement. I will look elsewhere for future plumbing needs.

Great!! Jose and Rozz did an excellent job installing and making it look good as well. The previous AC had wires and duct vent from furnace could burn you if touched while working. Now, all of the wires and connections to include the duct vent is out of way. One day install, very neat, professional, and explained the process as they were installing so we would understand our new system. Picked up and left everything clean. Kimberly (manager of schedules and installation) also was very responsive for any questions we had before, during and after the installation. Matt was the original salesperson who came over because of a leaky overflow from the original AC. He also was very professional and knowledgeable. Again, great work!!!

MY entire A/C unit and air ducts were replaced by Red Cap A/C Division. It ended up leaking and ruined my wood floor. John Gennaro the owner of the company came to my house after many complaints from me and gave me a discount on the A/C unit for the leaking. BUT I STILL HAD TO file an insurance claim for the damage and repair to my floor baseboard. When the second A/C leak occurred and did damage to the wood floor, I called and they made all kinds of excuses why. I requested to have a technician come out...their technician told me there was an error in the drain pipe placement and it had to be moved. No work was done on the visit. Five days later I didn't hear back from Red Cap regarding how my A/C going to be fixed. I made another call to Red Cap A/C ....they send out a technician to repair the wrongly placed drain line. The repair was done......AGAIN INCORRECTLY..... now the moved drain line they relocated is entirely blocking the A/C filter. NOW the filter can't be changed because the drain line is placed in front of the filter entrance with no way of putting in or removing the old filter. Now I have to schedule another appointment to have this fixed. By this time I've had it ...I text the owner John Gennaro stating all the problems I'm having and in an ERROR TEXT TO THE WRONG PERSON HE RESPONDS "THIS IS THAT CRAZY LADY THAT RUNS A>>>>>>>CLUB" clearly this text was intended for a co-worker. My response was "NO THIS IS THE CUSTOMER THAT HAS SPENT THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS WITH YOUR COMPANY NOT ONLY FOR CLEARLY TERRIBLE A/C SERVICES.. BUT FOR YOUR PLUMBING SERVICES AS WELL." DON'T EVER USE THIS COMPANY. THEY CLEARLY DON'T RESPECT THEIR CUSTOMERS

Terrific. I have used Red Cap for some time and they are always prompt, professional, thorough. I can almost always get same day service, which I really appreciate.
