The provider arrived on time and did the work quickly and professionally. It was also guaranteed for 30 days.

The plumber arrived as scheduled. I appreciated the prompt service, as this was Memorial day weekend. He assessed my needs and quated me a price of $500. I asked if he could do any better on the price, as this seemed quite high for approximately and hour of labor, and virtually no materials. He said he would try to adjust the price. He did a good job installing both pieces and tested for leaks. He adjusted the bill to a lower $375. I appreciated the bill adjustment, but the price was still high for the labor provided.

The plumber offered three different options and a discount for each one. He did not pressure me to choose a more expensive option and was able to complete the job in a timely fashion.

I called on Tues, morning and got an appointment for that same afternoon. Artis was on time and quickly saw how to fix the problem. in about an hour the drain was running free again with no problems since.

I contacted the provider prior to buying the deal because I wanted to be sure that the deal would apply to the work that needed to be done. The person that I talked to said that it would apply. When the contractor came to the property he made it very clear that it would not apply because the kitchen sink drainage issue was not part of the "main line." I would never have purchased this deal had the person on the phone given me the right information.

The company, office staff, and service attendants were amazing. I highly recommend them and thank you Angie List for advertising them.

Mike was extremely helpful and informative, and he laid out all the options to help save me money and solve problems. He was clearly looking out for our best interests with our plumbing system. His work was prompt and he cleaned up after the job. He wore shoe protectors to keep from tracking dirt in our house. I couldn't have asked for a more service-oriented person to help us identify and solve our plumbing problems. He's the one I'll call in the future and will wait until he's available. I feel he gave me a lot of value and peace of mind for the fair cost. I tried Red Cap because they were near the top of Angie's List, and it worked out perfectly. Very glad to provide a solid A rating for this service.

After a heavy rain,two of our three toilets would not flush.Mr.Mike Kinney arrived as scheduled,made a thorough inspection and cleared the clogged sewerage lines promptly.He was very professional and friendly.

The rep on the phone was courteous and professional. That was the reason we went with this company over another with a special deal. I was also told they wave service fees for Angie's List members. I asked what document/coupon was needed to prove I was an Angie's List customer to provide to the plumber and was told "None, you are fine." Our appointment was set for a window of 12:00pm-4:00pm. The office rep called me at noon to tell me the service man would arrive around 2pm. No problem, and appreciated the call. 3pm I receive another call telling me it is now likely to be more around 4pm. Wait a few more hours and the guy finally shows up at 4:45. My husband advises him he is late according to the office, and he responds "what time did they tell you I would arrive?" Seems a bit odd for a window to be created for it to be missed a few times over and him not aware. The plumber went into our kitchen to inspect the problem. While he was running the water he went through a sales pitch regarding maintenance and all the different options they had. My husband told him a few times he was not interested and just wanted to fix this one issue. The sink backed up, as we stated was the problem and the plumber told us he would get us some quotes to snake the drain. Advising us this might not fix the problem, but is the start to figuring it out. Quotes came back from $190 - $300 for different lengths plus with or without the bio clean solution. My husband said thank you, and decided between the tardiness, sales pitches, and ultimately the cost, we would decline. The plumber then asked for the coupon from Angie's List for waiving the service call. Note that I was previously told I did not need documentation for this. I printed off the coupon I found here on Angie's List. I gave mostly average ratings because I think individually none of these issues are extraordinary, however - combined - my experience was below average. ***Update - a representative did contact me regarding my experience and I did appreciate that. No hard feelings.

Very well. Chris did an outstanding job of fixing a problem that was complex because it was an older home with age and remodeling issues He and Red Cap exceeded my expectations.

My experience with Red Cap was pretty good, although I'm not super happy with how the "Big Deal' from Angie's List was portrayed. The title (still out there as of this writing) is "Sewer rodding and televising plus drain clean." The picture displayed with the add implies that the "clean" part of the service includes some sort of water-jet cleaning; however, that is NOT the case, and that particular service is very expensive. Additionally, note that the deal is only if ground-level clean-outs are available ... I have 2; however, the gentleman from Red Cap indicated he could not use them to get to the part of the house with which I had my concern, and I therefore had to have a "roof charge" for him to get access that particular stretch of drain (my house is only a single-story, 1200 sq ft slab). So the drain clean part of the Big Deal turned out to be "well, I poked a hole in what looked like a grease blockage, but it could reseal itself." I then needed to buy $150 worth of liquid bacteria to eat all the nasties in my drain. (He gave other options, but that seemed to be the most reasonable for my situation.) To his credit, he acknowledged I already paid the $99 for the Big Deal, and he also waived the roof charge when selling me this extra 3 gallons of drain cavalry (which by the way will last quite some time since it's only applied monthly after the initial 5 day blast). The only reason for the B-rating on price is that I paid more than expected; however, even at $250 total, I feel like I got a reasonable solution to the issue I was having. My fears of the Big Deal however, were apparently founded - 1. add-ons, and 2. not exactly what I expected. The gentleman from Red Cap was very professional, and he kept me informed and offered me choices as he ran into barriers. I would use them again without reservation.

They were professional and worked really fast. They did everything that they said they were going to do.. He was originally going to charge me over a thousand dollars. I argued and he dropped the price $75. It was for 3 hours of work. I fell like I am being a little generous but I was charged way too much money for this.

To schedule the service call took over 4 hours. I had to call the main number 3 or 4 times until I received a call back after midnight regarding when the service tech could come out. The service tech was friendly, knowledgeable and appeared to know what he was doing.

He was informative about what he was doing and used the 75 feet called for in the Angie's List deal. Paul, the camera Tech , arrived while the rodding of the line was close to finishing. After the line was cleared, Paul proceeded to push the camera towards the building. I watched the monitor. We both observed that at nearly every seam in the terracotta pipe that there was some root intrusion. At about 25 feet towards the building the line was blocked with half the pipe blocked solid with roots. The camera head could not be pushed further along due to the blockage. The 6 inch pipe was now only about 3 inches, .but it was still draining. Paul, then recommended and gave me an estimate to have the line replaced. I also got an estimate for a repipe of two apartment units. I would have possibly given an excellent rating for overall, quality, and professionalism, if Larry had the proper tool for clean out removal.

Went well. Came out to clean a drain the day we called, where as Roto Rooter was giving us the run around. Drain was cleaned within an hour; however, the guy who cleaned the drain didn't have a camera with him so had to schedule an additional appointment. Camera appointment went well as well, am now considering jet options to clean out the 50+ years of grease and paper in our lines. Thanks Red Cap, highly recommend to any and all in Tampa area.

Fixed the leak quickly and did a great job.

It turned out absolutely incredible. I have dealt with plumbing outfits for many years and I was very impressed with them. We are also going to have them back for more work. They got the job done in less than 2 hours. The plumber Mike, was very polite and efficient. I offered him a tip and he wouldn’t take it. The cleanup was superb. I like that they wear shoe covers while in the house.

"SCOTT" ARRIVED PROMPTLY, CHECKED EVERYTHING, AND GAVE ME SEVERAL COURSES OF ACTION COMPLETE WITH ESTIMATES. I DECIDED WHICH ONE TO FOLLOW, AND HE WENT TO WORK PROMPTLY. SOON, EVERYTHING I WANTED DONE WAS COMPLETED IN A VERY PROFFESSIONAL MANNER. .

New toilet is great. Never saw results of drain clearing video/photos, and was given a fairly expensive estimate to repair/replace.

They evaluated the problem and said there was nothing they could do to fix the problem without breaking through the wall and replacing some pipe then repairing the wall but we would be left to paint. They gave us an outrageous estimate to fix a shower faucet. We had another provided come in to look and they had the job done in less than an hour without breaking through the wall and for a price that was literally 1/6th what these guys wanted to charge us.

It went fine. I didn't particularly like the fact that he just went all around and seemed to make every job that I wanted him to look at much larger than it should be. I guess they want to prepare you for the worse scenario. He said I might have to go through the wall and the tiles on the other side and made a big production of it. I left him there to fix that while I went to get my grandchildren at school. I came back he was sitting in his truck. I said that didn't take you long did it? He said no I just changed it out. I wanted him to put in a new faucet for me and he told me that could take up to two hours to do that. I had a friend of mine do it, it took twenty minutes. It seemed that this is the way this particular repairman's way of doing it. I ask him also if he could adjust the pressure in the water heater. He went out in the garage and studied the thing and hummed and ah'd and I never did get that done. He made it sound like that he could do all these things but it was going to be a much bigger project than I thought they were be. He was preparing me in advance that it would be a big bill. I would not call them back because of that reason. I really didn't get a good feeling when he left. If he had given me a range depending upon the complexity of the job, I would have said you have to do what you have to do.

Red Cap did an excellent job. The employee who installed it was professional, early, and courteous.

We have also used them to unclog a sink for us. Their service and clean up was very good. They cleaned up their mess. The service people were friendly and easy to communicate with. They work in teams of two and we also used them for the unclogging of the drain.

Fast, friendly and fair priced. The plumber showed up on time and did the work in a timely and professional matter.
