Providence Sliding Glass Door Repair

Dave and Barry showed up right on time. They were done in less that 40 minutes. My sliding door glides like a dream. Before the door barely moved. They did an excellent job.

These guys are awesome! I wished I would have called them sooner. Had them come out to replace sliding door rollers. I was talking to Dave and stated that I wished that they repaired windows too as I had 3 windows that the inner spring had broken. He said that they do and took a look. So he took measurements of the parts and said that they would call when they came in. They were in 10 days later and Dave called - came out and fixed all 3 windows- saving us a ton of money not replacing windows (previous handymen had stated that windows would need replacement as they don't make the parts any longer...however Dave knew where to get them). It is nice to have sliders that actually work and windows that open as well. Definitely would recommend to use and will do so if needed in the future.

The workers arrived in a labeled truck. They were clean, wore uniforms and were very polite. They looked over each of the four sliding door sets and gave us the estimate. We thought it was a bit high, but were impressed by their knowledge of the doors and sliders. We are glad we went with them. The men got to work, cleaning the sills, replacing the seals, and fixing the rollers. They worked, answered questions and cleaned up after themselves.

Excellent! Dave and Barry arrived early (called first). They were very professional. Got right to work. These guys know their doors! I don't think my doors worked this well when the house was new! I highly recommend!

Dave and his partner arrived early. They put a new cap over the existing slide rail. They put new wheels on the door, then adjusted the doors so they align properly. They fixed one of the locks and made sure the lock pins slid easily. They worked quickly and were very pleasant.

This repair was done at my parent's condo (they are 87 and 86 years old). My sister was actually the person who was here during the repair, but she asked me to make sure that I give these guys a 5 star review! In her words, Barry & Dave were "over the top excellent". Prompt, absolutely know their business inside and out, and definitely went the extra mile. Would definitely use again!

Before the door was very difficult to open and close and sometimes could not lock. Afterwords it slides open and shut like it is sliding on ice. It is beautiful. They were very fast,professional and honest. They let us know 2 options one for temp fix and one for perm fix since the doors are older and not very energy efficient. Becuase of cost of door repalcement we choose the option for perm fix.

We called Providence on 7/2/2014. They answered the phone very quickly and scheduled an appointment convenient for everyone. Dave Conyers came out on Friday 7/11/2014. He was very punctual and very pleasant to work with. He changed the rollers on the door and resurfaced the rail with a stainless steel cap. He also worked with the door to ensure that the closed properly and would lock easily. The door is now better than when it was first installed 16 years ago. The cost was less than what we had expected. Extremely pleased with the results. Wish we hadn't waited so long to get it fixed. I would highly recommend his services

Wow. All I can say is WOW. From the time I first spoke to Angie to schedule the appointment, to the finishing of my service.. there simply couldn't be a better company to service your sliding glass doors. As Dave and Barry were diligently working on my doors (including a set that I mentioned I had worked on and fixed), I joked about how personable and knowledgeable both Dave and Barry were and how I could tell that they knew what they were doing, unlike the previous company. After awhile, Dave finally confessed that he was the owner of the company! That was quite impressive, but what was more impressive was the attention to detail and how they repaired things that I didn't even realize were broken. They fixed the problem, lubricated and adjusted the doors, and they glide better than ever. I expected this visit to cost a pretty penny - when Dave gave me the total, I almost fainted. It was less than half of what I expected - and my sliders are no longer warped and roll on the tracks so smoothly. It wasn't the weatherstripping, per the previous company. DO NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE FOR SLIDING DOOR REPAIR!!! Not only are Dave and Barry simply awesome at what they do, they are also the most personable pair you will ever meet. I called in Providence to repair a sliding glass door that was so hard to open that you needed to be a weight lifter to do it. They arrived promptly and explained that the rollers needed replaced, the track needed to be cleaned and a new cover needed to be put on the track. | |We agreed on a price and they got right to work. In no time, the work was done. What a difference! My door can now be opened with one finger and it slides like a dream. It was well worth the repair cost. | |I highly recommend this company.

- The workers called me as they were coming earlier. They were professional and courteous. Although I have 4 sliding doors, they did not try to "hard-sell"me into fixing all of them. The sliding doors they did fix slide open easily and quietly and I was very satisfied with the work. They cleaned up and it was impossible to tell anyone had been there.

We are very pleased with the results. When they first came out they very quickly removed the door and determined the bearings for the rollers were shot. Unfortunately Dave didn't have a correct replacement and they'd need to be ordered. It took over two weeks for the new ones to arrive which I do not fault Providence for. Once they received them they came out and within an hour we had a smoothly sliding door.

Great. They came even earlier than projected! Did a great job changing the rollers on sliding glass doors.

When the person came out, they told me the door was dragging and he told me there was a way to repair the door. He provided extra value. I liked that he saw a problem and told me. I liked that he was able to resolve it.

I had the guys from Providence come the next week & fortunately, they were able to open the doors. Dave tole me the sliding glass doors could be repaired & gave me an estimate on the repair of all 4 doors or 2 doors, if I preferred. Also the repairs could be done immediately. I was so thrilled that they could be repaired & so quickly! Also I thought the price was great, esp. since I was worried that I would have to have the doors replaced & the COST of that. I quickly requested to go ahead to repair ALL 4 doors. I was so satisfied & the doors slide so easily! I have to say their Professionalism, timeliness, price, & customer service was superb! Even though the workers were running late, they did call to let me know their estimate time of arrival. Once here, they came in assessed the problem, and then gave me an estimate. I was satisfied and they were able to complete the job on the spot. They were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They did not waste time and completed the job as requested.

I had 3 sliding glass doors that were tough to move. Two of the doors just needed to be taken off the hinges and cleaned, but the third door needed to have the track replaced and some work was done on the bottom of the door. The job began on time and finished quickly. Both guys who came to work on them were courteous and professional. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is throwing out their shoulder trying to move an older door, or struggling to lock one!

One of our large (4 x 8) sliding doors had a very loud and annoying squeak every time you opened or closed the door. We called Providence and booked an appointment. About 30 minutes before the appointment, the boys called to say they were on their way. They arrived promptly, on time and ready to work. Within a few minutes, they diagnosed the problem and proceeded to eliminate the noise - new rollers were not required! They charged only for a service call and were done in about 20 minutes. Would highly recommend Providence!!

They were done in less than thirty five minutes and did a fantastic job for the price.
