Description of Work: Happy with the installer and the product. He installed about 70 feet of pool fencing and a self closing gate around our unscreened pool deck. only worry is two months later the self closing gate no longer self-closes, a bit premature to have lost the spring tension.

Description of Work: Complete professionals every step of the way! I contacted Pool Guard through the Angie's List app and provided measurements one day and got a phone call the next day with a quote. We had considered doing it ourselves as my husband is an accomplished DIYer but their price was only a couple of hundred more than the price to do it ourselves - and this would have been a big job if you don't know what you're doing. |Once we decided to go with Pool Guard, we set a date for about a week later. I got a call a couple of days later that they had an unexpected break in their schedule and could do it early. |Louis showed up and talked me through the job, answering all my questions and making great suggestions as to the gate and fence placement. A few hours later, he was done and everything was cleaned up. He took the time to explain everything we would need to know how to set up and take down, storage, cleaning and general maintenance. I am thrilled with both the fence and the company's responsiveness and quality. I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: I called to set up an estimate and they had someone out to my house that same week to fit my schedule. After showing the gentleman our pool area and discussing our needs, he gave us a quote that included everything with no hidden fees. My wife and I said it sounded great and to our surprise, he went out to his truck and came back with everything to start putting the fence up right then. All of the work was done within a few short hours for our relatively small area and we did not have to schedule another meeting which was so convenient.

Description of Work: We are very pleased with the outcome of the installation. The product material is very high quality and the installer very courteous and skilled. We were a little bummed that the estimate was not accurate, but Kevin did not come out to take precise measurements. We ended up needing an additional 7 ft of fence, which bumped up the price a bit. Aside from this, we're pleased with the work overall.

 + -1 moreWent fantastic. Timely, professional, excellent work for a reasonable price - the reasons I joined Angie's List. Also, they explained how I was better off saving a few dollars by curling the fence around the pool and then I wouldn't have to have a gate - I could pull a pole away at the natural break that occurs by the stairs into the water. It was perfect advice. All the room with curving the fence around the pool and no reason to take fence out when we have guests and no expensive gate - win / win.
Description of Work: Installed child protection fence around the perimeter of the pool.

 + 0 moreThey came to measure the area, we decided on fence color, screen type and if we wanted to include a gate (which was optional). Estimate took about 20 mins. They showed up to do the work 3 business days later. The work was excellent. We had one issue with a scratch on one of the poles, however, they came out and replaced the pole 2 days later no charge. We were able to pay by phone for the service. It was so easy and the work was completed very quickly and professionally. We would recommend this company to anyone looking to have a pool safety fence installed.

 + 0 moreJeff arrived on time with all the equipment and materials needed. He installed the fence quickly, but professionally. He cleaned up the mess, and answered all questions I put to him. If I get another house with a pool, I would call this company again without reservations.
Description of Work: Work consisted of marking and drilling holes in the pool deck to install sleeves. The pool fence posts are inserted into these sleeves. The tops of the fence posts are then hooked together to add tension to the fence. The ends of the fence are attached to a support beam of the pool screen.

 + -1 moreOverall, very impressed. Kevin was very personable, writing up the estimate in a couple of ways and explaining alternatives. He even saved us money by explaining how we wouldn't need/want a gate if we wrapped the fence around the pool more. We were not planning on doing this but now are really glad that we did - very much worth the extra $70 or so to hug the pool line. The installers were punctual, efficient and also provided a great outline of exactly where the fence would be after they were done. All in all, companies like this one are the reason I joined Angie's List - takes the guesswork out of finding the best.

It took less than a week from estimate to the actual installation. Installer was very professional and talked mw through the entire process as to where the fence and gates would go. As a pool owner with a small child, Pool Guard was the perfect company to give me some peace of mind.

Description of Work: They placed a 41 foot long, 4 foot high fence around our pool for child safety reasons. They drilled holes in our granite pool surface and installed the fencing and gate.

 + -1 moreGreat, I called them on Thursday, and they scheduled it for the following Tuesday. They explained everything carefully to me on-site, showed me exactly where the fence would go, and had it installed within an hour. I had a bit of sticker shock, but the price per foot seemed to be pretty standard in the area, and pool safety for the baby obviously isn't something I'd want to be cheap about!
Description of Work: We had about 55 feet of pool safety fence installed, plus the optional self-closing gate (approx. $250).
