Plazza Natural Stone

I was recommended Plazza Natural Stone by my general contractor. He said, “I’ve been working with them for years. They are honest, do excellent work, will return your phone call and insure you are happy with the job.” I have to say Plazza Natural Stone is an outstanding company and they have some outstanding people working for them. Design Consultant, Marin Wagner was great to work with. If I had a question (and I had several), would always call me back the same day. She was always professional and personable. Plazza Natural Stone was great in keeping me informed how and when my counter tops would be installed. Once they called me a couple of days ahead of time to tell me that they machine was broken and that they had to push my installation date back one week. While my wife and I were disappointed, we understood. The installation crew were very methodical and professional. They cleaned up after themselves for the most part (out and inside). Upon first appearance’s it looked like an “A # 1” job as the crew walked out the door. I had installed the same quartz for the counter-tops and backsplash. I had selected a wider counter-top of 25 1/4 inch versus the usual 24 inch. This was to help keep my wife’s pants pocket from catching on the drawer pulls. Over the next couple of days, the counter-top sizes on the left side didn’t look the same as on the right. I then measured and the ones on the left were 25 1/2 inches. The ones on the right were just under 25 inches. This is because on one side the counter-tops butted up against the backsplash, while on the other side it went under the backsplash. The backsplash was 1/2 inch thick. Plazza sent out an excellent employee named “Tokyo”?sp. He told me several times, “My boss wants to make sure you are happy and I’m not to leave until you are.” He corrected the counter tops so both sides were the same (25 1/2) and I that I was happy. Another issue was since backsplash was added to both sides, electrical light switches and outlets had to be put on the outside of the backsplash. When the installation crew left I asked them about the Live electrical light switches and outlets being left exposed. They informed me the old screws 1 inch were to short and that I needed to go and buy 2 inch long screws and install them myself, “We don’t carry them” and left. I’m a retired Air Force safety officer and for me, this was a true SAFETY HAZARD. One should never leave hot electrical wires exposed. This situation was NEVER resolved by Plazza. I sent them an email on this and never got a response. To resolve this issue, I had to hired an electrician. The next day, I called about how to care for my new quartz tops and backsplash. I wanted to know how to safely remove the cement splatter off of the counter-tops without scratching them. They gave me the website to “Cambria”. I had to spend the next 30 minutes down loading information on how to care for the Cambria Quartz. I spent just under $8,000.00 for counter-tops and backsplash. I shouldn’t have to hire an electrician who had the 2 inch long electrical screws to make my outlets and switches safe again. I looked at both Lowe’s and Home Depot and couldn’t find what I needed. Secondly, why wasn’t I given a packet of “How to care”, “How to remove cement splatter” and “How to Register my Cambria Quartz” with said company. And lastly, since I was told that Plazza Natural Stone was the absolute best. I would of thought they would have had a free sample of a product that they would recommend to be used on my new Cambria Quartz counter-tops and backsplash.

I mainly hired Plazza Natural Stone to fabricate granite I purchased at another company in Pinellas County. I did purchase one small pre-cut piece for one bathroom vanity from Plazza. They came out to the house & did templates for the kitchen and two bathrooms. I was told it would take about ten days for them to cut the countertops & deliver. We went out of town for a week. Surprisingly within that time I was told the countertops and vanities were ready to deliver. Our contractor who was not involved in selecting the stone met them for installation. Came home & received a call immediately from the owner asking how we liked the countertops. I hadn't gone to the rehabbed house yet. I was furious to find the stone was not the stone I had picked out at the other company. Went to the warehouse where we had reserved our stone. Turned out it was still there waiting for pick up by Plazza. Plazza was informed of the name of the stone we reserved at the other company. They either had similar stone or purchased one locally. They had eliminated our warehouse from of the order which was not exactly as the one they installed. Plazza did take out the wrong countertops and vanity. Picked up our reserved stone & completed the order. They get two stars only because the job got done. This was very upsetting having to deal with a company like this.

The Quartz counter tops we purchased from Plazza Stone in Tampa, Florida are absolutely gorgeous. The men did an excellent job of installing them. My husband and I are very pleased with the quality of the quartz we picked out and the job the men did installing the product. It is perfect and with no flaws. Yes, I will tell everyone where we got our beautiful quartz countertops.

A++ experience with Plazza Natural Stone from beginning to end. Marin was our first point of contact and she was very knowledgeable, helpful, kind, and patient! She has the best customer service skills. Everyone else that we dealt with from the company was also very patient and helpful. We highly recommend this company and we just love our new Granite Countertops!

Very well, I only have 2 concerns. There appears to be a repair on a corner near the range and I am not confident that the 15 year sealer was worth the money.

They were great. And they always let me know when and what was scheduled. It went very smoothly.

Went well, couple of spots I had them fix, they were kind enough to cut out drywall and inset the sotne.

The team was prompt, professional, and neat. Made the seams disappear. Granite looks amazing. John Paul (owner) is great. I walked into his store and discussed my counter tops. Told him I had three different slabs of granite selected and he called to get an estimate on the spot. He too the time to meet me at the granite house and check the slabs. He went above and beyond. When you look at the pictures we still have to finish some work (electric and plumbing). But the granite job is great.
