I am actually a repeat customer, however prior work had only been in doing demolition work for me. Nothing in my house was done correctly when it was renovated prior to us moving in. After having James come out (who works along with Paul), he removed my door and discovered that the previous door was a strange size and the standard door wasn't as tall. He had to install some 2x4s along the top to close the gap and do some drywall work which caused the price to increase. Also, he discovered that my old door wasn't installed correctly and was the cause of a lot of vibration I had been noticing when the door opened or shut. With the new bracing and proper mounting as well as a lighter door, it looks awesome, and the door is strong than ever. Texture on the drywall was perfect and I'm a happy camper. The only complaint would be that the price increased from the original estimate, however that was explained to me prior to work being done and was certainly understandable since the amount of work increased quite a bit. The entire project was done in about 5 hours on site. There was no wasting time, he got right to work and did a quality job. I highly recommend them!

I spoke with Paul last Saturday about some home repairs that were needed in order to put our house on the market. We talked things over on the phone and agreed on some items that Paul could assist us with. He seemed very reluctant to deal with anything that involved the second story of our home. Maybe he's scared of heights? He referred us to another company to have a bulk of the work completed. I texted Paul a few pictures after we spoke on Saturday and he responded 'you are scheduled for this Friday @ 1:00 or sooner'. On Friday morning, I texted Paul asking him to let me know when he was on his way to my house. I received a call shortly after where Paul stated that he had me on the books for next Friday. I explained to him that was not the date we agreed on but he insisted that he had it correct on his books. He then asked me if the appointment was to have work done or if it was for an estimate only? We had already talked and texted about the repairs??? He then proceeded to tell me that 99% of his customers are happy with his work. That must be the customers where he actually completes the work. I told him that I had read a number of good reviews for him on Angie's List which is why I had contacted him. Why did he feel the need to justify himself before I even told him I was going to have the repairs completed by someone else. It's as if he knew he was wrong or was lying to me. Very strange and extremely unprofessional. After telling him his services would no longer be needed, I forwarded his text stating 'this Friday' to him and did not receive a response. If you want to wait around for some repairs to be completed only to find out he won't ever show up, give Paul a call.

James was on time both days and was meticulous with his works. All three projects came out beautiful. We would definitely use this company again.

Paul arrived on time and got right to work. He removed the damaged hardwood flooring from in front of large sliding glass doors. He had to replace a small area of floor that went beyond the sliders and did a beautiful job using some extra pieces of flooring that I had. There was also damaged and missing molding that he had to match with the existing molding. He found a perfect match and stained it so that it matched the existing molding perfectly. He made sure to use high-quality materials and the floor looks great with new tile entry. The transition from the hard wood to the new tile is flawless and looks like it was meant to be that way from the beginning. He was very professional and got the job done in one day. I would certainly recommend him to others.

Paul showed up on time. He covered all the furniture and fixtures in the room to avoid getting a mess anywhere. He went right to work. He and his assistant worked quietly. When he finished he asked me to inspect his work before he began to put away his tools and drop cloths. I approved the work he'd done. When he left I couldn't really tell he'd been there, except that the ceiling was repaired.

We had our upstairs bathroom redone by someone due to a shower leak, but the job was never finished, was not quality work and quite honestly we had no faith that the plumbing had been done correctly. Paul came in and gutted the original job and redid the plumbing, installed our new window and bathtub correctly, put up new board and membrane creating a water proof barrier. He installed all of our new ceramic tiles, installed our new shower head, faucet, etc. and installed a new shower curtain holder for us. Paul is very meticulous and we are very confident that his work was done correctly. He explains what he is doing along the way and I think the price was well worth the finished product. Paul won't leave the job until he and the client are happy. We would definitely use Paul again for any home repairs we may have.

Very professional from start to finish.

A job we initially thought might take 1-2 days blossomed into a seven day affair because we kept finding more damaged wood under the cedar siding. Eventually, rather than repairing my chimney, we tore it down and rebuilt if from the ground up. Paul was patient with me and explained every aspect of his procedure to me and constantly sought my approval. He is driven by the need to be perfect, or nearly so. I have already made a note on my computer calendar to call Paul again in the spring to have additional work done to the exterior of my home. I give Paul's Home Pro Service my unconditional recommendation. As an aside he is a very interesting guy to talk with and he freely expresses himself.

Paul was prompt and completed the work in a surprisingly fast time. As he worked, he explained what he was doing and why. It was a pleasure seeing him work and the results are better than the original baseboards. I have already recommended him to a co-worker. If I need handyman work done in the future, I will call Paul.

It went wonderful. This project required multiple steps from multiple people and timing was everything. Paul went above and beyond to make sure the project was done in the short amount of time we gave him to do it. We also ran into a problem and Paul was able to remedy the situation very quickly with no delays. We would definitely call him again if we have more projects to do.

Contacted Paul for Handy Man services; plumbing and electrical. He came to the house and reviewed our list and suggested we'd be better served using an electrician for the electrical work but he would gladly help us with the plumbing work. We had several faucets that either needed to be repaired or replaced plus a dishwasher that was not secure and tipped out every time the bottom rack came out. Paul scheduled a date to return the following week. Even though Paul had some schedule conflicts he came when he said he was going to come. Paul's professionalism and outgoing personality is amazing. No worries about having a "stranger" in your house. He took his time and made sure everything was as we wanted it. He even showed us how to fix the shower handle if it gets floppy again. You can tell Paul loves what he does and he's really good at it! He shared his other areas of expertise (crown molding, etc) so that we are ready to do those improvements he's our guy . My home was broken into and my front door severely damaged. I called Paul's Home Pro Service frantic needing urgent service. Paul was very concerned and empathetic. He said he could send an experienced carpenter out early the next morning. James was there right on time with all his materials. He had asked me to send pictures of the door so he was able to pick up supplies ahead of time. I thought that was good planning. James went right to work and I could clearly see he was a skilled carpenter. He was fast, meticulous and professional. He did a wonderful job on my door. I was so pleased. I know I will be calling Paul again and asking for James. Paul is a concerned, responsive owner, his pricing is reasonable and a good carpenter like James is worth his weight in gold.

Paul was extremely responsive to my call and immediately set up a time for the work to be performed, the of which I subsequently had to change. He was understanding and when I called back a few days later quickly set up one of his associates, James, to come out the next day after my call and perform the work. James was very professional and thorough, and took extra time to answer questions and offer some useful tips on future maintenance. This is the first handyman service of several I've used that called right back, showed up when promised, and did such a thorough job. I was very pleased with Paul and would use the service again!

I called and made an appt with Paul on August 20th and he came out that same day to evaluate the problem of a porch roof that was sagging. He then scheduled August 26th for the day he would be out to fix the problem. That morning he called early to let me know he was picking up the supplies needed at Home Depot and would be at my house in the next 10 minutes. He was right on time and began to work on the problem. This was a complicated repair because the porch roof was also connected to the pool cage and to take it apart and replace the beam along the roof would be an expensive repair estimated at $10,000 +. Paul suggested instead installing a new support column and them monitoring the roof to see if it was stable on was continuing to sag lower. The support column was installed using a hydraulic lift where the measurements had to be very precise. I was pleased with the new support column. Next he pumped hydraulic cement into a hole on the pool deck that was leaking into a maintenance and laundry room when we had a strong rain. The hole was bigger than anticipated so Paul put sand into the hole along with the cement to give it more substance. That appears to have corrected the problem. Very professional and experienced.

I had a window leaking in my wife's home office. He came to look at the situation and said it would be much more involved than original thought. The whole window would have to be remove and he would have to come back with help. We asked if he could come on a week end since my wife could not work in the office if he was going to remove the window. He was able to reschedule on a Saturday. He showed up with help and dug into the project. After a while it turned out the project was not as involved as previously thought. So the window was fixed much easier and cheaper than expected. The window has not leaked since. I will definitely hire him for future projects.

We had an appt set for 7.30. Paul called me around 7:36 to apologize. He had forgotten he had scheduled the job for 7:30 since he usually schedules all appointments for 9 a.m. When I asked what time he expected to arrive, he said around 8:30/8:45 and he arrived around 8:45. I showed him the project and he got right to work. I had screwed up though and got two 8 foot panels when I should have gotten two 9 foot panels. Paul installed each panel from the outside in and then patched the 1 foot gap in the middle with one of the panels he took off. He gives a year guarantee on his work. He finished up around 10:20. As long as the roof doesn't leak, I'm satisfied. I will definitely contact him again.

Paul was very professional and right on time. He paid attention to detail and made sure everything was working perfect before he left. I will call him again for other home improvements in the future.

Paul is very responsive and listens to my needs and requests. We talk through the project and then decide what is best for the home. He does not try to upscale the project to "get more money." I have trusted him in my house when I am not there as well. I would highly recomment Paul for a project big or small.

I had two 1950 s locks in two bedroom doors which when removed left a rectangular hole all the way to the side of the door.A locksmith had told me that my best bet was two buy new doors .Paul told me that he could fill the hole with fake wood,let it dry and then drill into the wood and install two new locks.He therefore saved me having to replace two doors. Everything went just as he said it would and the doors came out great..I was also very pleased with the new plumbing and installation of the new faucet.Paul is a professional who knows what he is doing.

Made first visit to evaluate & discuss chimney repair. Punctual, very professional and made excellent suggestions. Returned and completed the work in a timely fashion to our satisfaction. Highly experienced and enjoyable to work with them. We would recommend Paul for your home repairs, etc. Have already pre-scheduled additional work involving painting.

We coordinated from long distance (from Texas) for the repair of our parent's home in Tampa making the process slightly more difficult. Paul was extremely responsive, identified the needed repairs, communicated frequently, coordinated the repairs with our parents and made the repairs promptly and efficiently. He was very friendly and courteous with our parents. It was nice to to find an efficient and responsive contractor that accepts and is willing to manage smaller projects.

Working with this service provider was extremely disappointing. I contacted him in April/May to do work on my house and set up an appointment in June. I told him that I wanted his undivided attention since he claimed he was so busy from all the work he was receiving off of Angie's List. He wanted me to send pictures of the work that needed to be done and a detailed list because he was too busy to come by for an in-home consultation and needed to be efficient with his time. After I emailed him my pictures he gave me a quote of $450 dollars but that I was to contact him before the date of actual work. When I contacted him again, I explained that the list of work that needed to be done had grown and that I needed a new quote. He had me take more pictures which I did and again sent him a detailed list of the work. This service provider than called back and said that he needed to send some one out to confirm the work and give me another quote and seemed to be keep mixing me up with another customer of his. When his stand-in came by, I was told that Paul was on vacation and when he came back it was going to be a very tight schedule because of all the people that he had booked, despite my asking him 2 months in advance for his undivided attention. When Paul called back, he then stated that he could not do the work inside of my budget despite the fact that we never discussed my budget or he even knew Then he proceeded to give me a lecture on niceness and how I needed to be nice and that he would give me the number of someone who could use the job but was not qualified and needed supervision to do the job correctly. Also this person was not covered under his insurance and if anything went wrong, he (Paul) would not be responsible. And finally, he didn't want a bad review written up on Angie's List. This was a complete waste of 2 months.
