I called Paul to do some small but urgent handyman-type jobs for my rental property. The job was really small but, living out of town, I had to hire someone. Paul accepted the job graciously and completed it right away, with the same professionalism I would have expected had I been a bigger-ticket customer. I was so pleased I called again him to hang a ceiling fan the following day. His prices are very fair (the price written represents the total from both jobs). I will use him again, and recommend him without hesitation.

Paul has reasonable prices. We like that he is honest, and was able to do exactly what we wanted.

He arrived on time , called to let me know when he was on his way and he let me know what he thought was feasable as far as the weight and fixtures used to hang my photos. He was very nice and professional and i would recommend him to my friends.

Paul is now my "go-to" guy for all those small things you need done around the house. Neither my husband nor I is very handy, especially when any kind of power tool is involved. We don't even have an electric screwdriver, let alone a drill or saw! Paul's been here twice to do all those mundane tasks that need done when you move into a new home. He is very maticulous about his work. A case in point is the garage lights. The fixtures were old and needed updating. It should have been a simple change out except that when Paul took the lights down, he found the electrical connections were being held together with plastic tape (which could have caused a fire at any time) and that the fixtures had been literally glued to the fiberboard siding, instead of being attached with srews to a metal plate. Because the contractor who installed the lights broke through the fiberboard siding, the new fixtures could not be installed normally, as that would have left a opening where water could enter, possibly causing the light to short out. Paul ended up making a backer board to cover the hole, sealing the gap between the backer board and the siding, then installing the fixture on the flat surface of the backer board. Problem solved, the light fixtures look great and there's no longer a danger of an electrical short or fire. Another project involved attaching a mirror to the dresser. The moving company lost the metal support rods that hold the mirror in place. Paul when to Home Depot and found metal rods that did the job very nicely. Paul brings all the right tools to the project, so whether it's installing shelving in the cement block walls of the garage, installing rods in stucco for patio curtains, installing shower curtain rods on tile, or installing drapery rods in the bedroom, Paul have the right tool and gets the job done quickly. He's coming back in a couple of weeks to remove the wire shelving over the washer/dryer and install wall mounted cabinets and a hanging rod in the laundry room.

Paint was actually early (called 1st) was very friendly, polite, efficient explained exactly what he did and how to prevent future damage.

Paul is very trust worthy, did not hesitate to run errands while he was working at my home. Good job, Paul.

He was on time and easy to talk to and efficient. I asked him to put up curtains and move furniture. Nothing was beneath him and was knowledgable. He offered advise for other things that needed to be done. I am a widow and homeowner, lost my husband of 15 yrs and here without a handy relative. I would call him again.

Paul arrived on time and assessed the situation immediately. He was able to secure the bannister and repair the drywall in under an hour. He even gave me some painting and wallpaper removal tips when I showed him my bedroom renovation. Nice guy, very professional and skilled.

I got a special through Angie's List as I did it through them. It wasn't expensive at all. It was $75.00 for two hours. I liked the guy. He was very personable. He was very nice. He did what I asked and he did it quickly. The price was great. It was like the best. He was right on time. He was very professional.

Paul was very helpful. He gave me advice regarding what I should look for in a toilet for a rental property. I picked a toilet out and met him over the weekend. (No need to miss work) When he removed the old toilet we found damage. The toilet had been leaking for some time. He showed me how previous damage to the plywood had been fixed by covering with another piece of plywood which was now also damaged. This caused the surrounding floor to be higher than the flange. The previous fixer had used two wax rings and lots of caulk to compensate; which of course leaked. At this point Paul told me my options. We could follow the previous fix using two wax rings. He said it could work, but he did not recommend it. He mentioned it in case I cold not afford the correct fix. I wanted to fix it correctly so i gave him the go ahead to pull up some tile to see how bad it was. I am glad we did this because we found mold on much of the plywood. Paul then gave me another estimate to replace the plywood. It was a good price considering the amount of work and I accepted. I gave him a key and he said he would start Monday. (Again, no need to miss work) Paul sent pictures of the damage before work began and also sent pictures of the work in progress. He removed the sink and replaced the plywood. He also noticed that the toilet was not supported properly which is why the floor started to sag around it. He added support to correct this. He made good recommendations for flooring and didn't try to sell me on installing more than what I needed. With the floor being lower (one plywood board instead of two rotten ones) he lowered the baseboards. After everything was re-installed it looked great. I feel like he did a great job at an honest price. I am certain that a job of that scope would have had an inflated price using another fix-it guy. Paul was friendly and helpful. He doesn't try to sell you work that doesn't need to be done. I am asking to quote another project for me.

He was great. Paul was friendly and thorough. I purchased he special and ran over my time and he didn't charge me. Since my house is new, electical wiring system was a little different than what he had seen prior but instead of just trying something unsure of the result, he called a master electrician, ran it by him, and then proceeded. I'm crazy neat and he was very respectful of that and very careful. I highly recommend him and would use him again.

Paul was in & out in less than 2 hours. He repaired what was there rather than replace with new, which saved a lot of money. I've actually hired Paul again to rebuild my front patio deck. Paul has a great attitude with a willingness to please.

Paul was exceptional. I needed to replace a kitchen sink and faucet. I was going from a double basin stainless to a extremely large single basin granite composite sink with new faucet. This would require repositioning all the plumbing in the cabinet below as there would now only be one drain to the disposal instead of the water drain and disposal drain on the previous sink. Everything would need to be repositioned and the water only drain eliminated. On our first phone call he gathered as many details as he could about the job. I even text messaged over photos for him to review as he wanted to be certain he came with all the parts necessary to complete the job without interruption. Paul showed up on time and after introductions, he got right to it not wasting any time. He was thorough and explained what he needed to do. With some of the challenge of repositioning the plumbing below the sink he discussed the steps with me to ensure I was satisfied with the work being done. He was both knowledgeable and technically competent and being a professional cleaned up his work residue! He did a great job and we are extremely happy with the results. I would both sue him again and recommend him to others. One thing I really liked is that he is turned on to communication. I easily got him on his phone, by texting or e-mail. He was prompt in response. I also liked the fact that he asked me to text him some pictures of the job beforehand so he could better prep for it. I sent about five photos of everything under the cabinet and also shots from above.

He's been very good, he came out and fixed a sink that was broken by a cleaning company on a few hours notice. Today he came out on a two-hour notice (or less) and fixed a toilet that was broken! He is always responsive, punctual, and quick, and he gets the job done.

Called Paul, explained to him my problem and he came out the very next day. He quoted me $75 over the phone, which was way less than the $250 I was quoted from another contractor. He was able to install 3 vanity lights in 3 of my bathrooms in about 45 minutes. He was quick, efficient, and pleasant. I would recommend him for future home improvement projects or handyman help! I believe that I told you the whole story in the box above. I'd just like to add that just because I said that work was done, I DID NOT MEAN THAT IT WAS FINISHED! Not by a long-shot! The things that he did were the things he WANTED to do! He also told me that his price was not going to go down. He was insulted that I said his work was unskilled labor. He told me that he has a college degree. Well, that and a nickle won't get you on a subway, my friend.

He comes and he works and accomplishes so much. I felt like I was living in a storage unit, and in two Saturday's he has come and cleaned up so much, and he has given me my living room back! He is honest and hard working with no nonsense! He also put in laminate flooring and an indoor and outdoor on my porch.

The cost depends on the job. He's very thorough in his work. He's a nice man and I will continue to use him for my handyman needs.
