I called Paul about a water-damaged window frame on my 5-panel bow-shaped window. I had already called five contractors and one handyman for an estimate, and out of that, I got two estimates. The others did not want to even bid on the job because they weren't sure how extensive was the problem. After meeting with Paul, I felt that, even though he had never repaired a bow-shaped window, he seemed very capable of doing the job correctly. He sent Tim and his son, Timmy, to do the work on both of my bow windows, (The second one needed reinforcement, as well.) They did an amazing job, were always very courteous, and I am so relieved that my windows now sit on a sturdy base. I even asked them to do some smaller repairs around the house - you know, those little repairs that every house accumulates during the year. I joined Angie's List because I was having such a problem finding a good contractor. I am so glad that I found Paul and I highly recommend him and his team.

The project went very well and the finished work is exactly what I had hoped for. The first day Paul and his team started with removing all the wood paneling in the family room and then moved on to installing all the dry wall. Then the next day the seams between the dry wall were blended (mudding). Then the following day the walls were primed and painted; as well as the start of installing the base boards. The following day the base boards were completed and the crown molding went up. There were several obstacles that he had to work around; which included two windows, a fire place, and three entry ways. Like any project we hit a few snags, that were out of our control. For example, part of the house had one type of base board and a later edition of the house used a different type. So he helped me with working in a good transition. Overall, he did a wonderful job and takes great pride in his work. I highly recommend Paul and will certainly use his services in the future.

Paul's team showed up on time with the materials needed for the work we had discussed. Since this is an older house some of the walls were not even and Paul had to re-cut molding to fit it but he did so and it looks great. Even when I thought one section of the crown molding looked good, Paul said "No", it was not up to his standards and took it down and re-cut another piece that fit perfectly. It was not just Paul that was here. Sid and James were both excellent worker's. Sid could do it all and assisted with the crown molding and fans. James followed up with painting and he was just as much of a perfectionist as Paul. James knew the best paint to use and did an excellent job. In discussions with Paul's team, they can do so much more than the work I had them do and I will certainly keep them in mind for future renovations. Paul, Sid and James were the ultimate professional team.

A section of drywall in a small bedroom closet had ripped along a seam, to which a shelving bracket had been attached. Paul responded immediately to my phone call and scheduled an appointment to get the job done ASAP. He arrived on time and had the job done in about 90 minutes. He cleaned up all debris from the repair. The work was very professionally done. It looks better, in fact, that the original installation. Because of his great customer service and excellent work, I will definitely use him again for any repairs at our house.

Paul sent some of his guys i believe their names where Tim and Tim Jr. they did an awesome job for a reasonable price and they did it fairly quickly could not be happier with the work, in the past i have had workers come in to do a job only to leave a small disaster behind for me to spend the rest of my day cleaning up. Pauls guys came in assessed the work left for a bit came back with supplies finished the job fairly quickly and cleaned up after themselves, i will be hiring them again in the future and i definitely recommend them for others.

UPDATE: Paul sent his associate Tim Sr and Tim Jr to complete the work over June 2nd and 3rd. Both Tim's did great work, stayed busy and were very professional. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone.

The job was delayed a bit but Paul communicated to me regularly and kept me informed of when he could do the work. All perfectly understandable. I won't be calling ANYONE else when I need another home repair job done RIGHT the FIRST time. Paul does it all!

We bought our house about a year and a half ago, and alot of the "refurbishing" that had occurred prior to our purchase wasn't up to par. We had a shower that leaked into the wall behind my vanity and had caused a considerable amount of mold growth along the baseboards. Although we had replaced the shower about a month ago, we were still smelling the mildew/mold smell in there. We are planning on doing a complete rebuild on the bathroom, and while we're thinking over what we want to do, we knew we needed to get into the wall to see the extent of the problem, and whether moisture was still getting in and from where. Paul was very professional, and showed up on time, worked quickly, and was willing to share his views on solutions on how to move forward with this and other projects around the house. He analyzed our mold issue, explained the structure of that area of the wall and how to prevent further moisture from getting in. Also, he did a good job of cleaning up afterwards. I highly recommend him, and will be using him again soon.

He came out Tuesday and performed the work within a couple hours. He did an excellent job and I would hire him again. He was very neat, clean, and even swept and mopped my garage which impressed me.

Paul came out when scheduled and we discussed my options for repairs. Paul gave me several options and didn't try to push a more expensive or extensive fix. He explained what he would do to repair. Paul came out the following Fri. and performed the repairs as discussed and I have to say it looks even better than what I anticipated.

It was two week before Paul could come out to write an estimate. I was pleased with the worked planned and when I received the estimate I agreed to have him do the work. He gave a a date 3 weeks away to start. He did not start on that day (in July) as it was raining a lot. This I understood. We set another date in August. I had to call to see if he was going to start then but again he said that he could not do it that week. After waiting a couple of weeks I called him again. He said that it was still too hot to work on the siding and had decided that he was no longer going to take this type of job. He offered some alternated methods of repair that I was not interested in. He never called back to reschedule and I went with another repairer.

This is the second time Paul has done repairs on my home. I called Paul the first time because his write up said he provided quality service and meticulous attention to detail. I wasn't disappointed. He visited, evaluated what needed to be done, and explained it to me. I watched him work. He was efficient and effective.The work was well done. All debris was cleaned up. Because of this I called him again when I needed additional service. The experience was repeated. I was pleased and shall call him again if I need further work.

Replaced a back wall, support beam and put drywall on the interior portion of the wall

We removed a large mirrored wall and there was a lot of wall damage and glue. Paul repaired the drywall to perfection. He did a great job keeping the dust to a minimum and cleaned up; leaving no messed. He finished the wall by adding a coat of primer so it is ready to paint. He showed up on time and finished the job when he promised. I have other worked lined up for Paul to do for us.

We called to have him repair the damage on our rental home. Paul was very busy and could not get to it right away. He stated he could get to it in about 3 weeks - not a big deal in this case. We followed up and he scheduled the work. He showed up when he was supposed to and provide pictures of the completed work.

He was on time, friendly, and courteous. The work was great and cleaned up well after the job was done.

I took time to search for a good handyman for some work I need to have done. I selected this provider because it had very good ratings. I called to set up an appointment. I got voicemail. That's okay; I understand people can not get to the phone every minute. I left a detailed message with my name and contact number. I did not ever get a call back. Nothing. After a week still nothing. So frustrating. I can understand if they are busy but at least have the courtesy to call me back and tell me you don't want my business so I can move on. So I am searching again for a different provider. Thank you.

The work done was a great example of someone who has pride in his craftsmanship. Paul was professional, expedient and courteous. I plan on using Paul's Home Pro Service for any of my household repairs or restorations, beyond my means. Highly recommended. All around great experience.

i contacted this company to provide me with an estimate on rebuilding the interior of three closets, primarily the master as the interior shelving had all fallen down the day before. the appointment was for Oct 4 at 4 pm. he called me that day to tell me he couldn't make it as he was busy with another job, and asked instead that i send him pictures as he felt he could give me an estimate that way. this didn't please me as i had rearranged my schedule to meet this appointment, and too, sending pictures concerned me as to how well he would be able to create an estimate, but, i sent the pictures. he responded back a couple of hours later that he would call me the next morning at 10am to discuss the price. that phone call has yet to come and that was 3 weeks ago. i suppose he didn't need my business or want it. i think i would have preferred he just say that to me. extremely disappointing.

He was excellent at fixing the problem. He was able to come up with ideas and solutions that I had not and wouldn't even have known about. He was very helpful. I was also able to get him to put up a light the that burglar disabled. He was very fair with his pricing and I would definately call him out again if I had any type of issue to fix.

Quick and easy. I had only one issue. He should have sealed the tile before installing because grout discolored the edges and didn't match the surrounding tile. That was it. Everything else was perfect.

We have used Paul's services in the past. I noticed our toilet was leaking and I called Paul. Paul showed up the same day to identify the problem and repaired it the next day. We will continue to use his services!

Paul worked on an Historic Landmark c.1890 house and displayed sensitivity and understanding of that sort of structure as well as the budget limitations of the not-for-profit organization that cares for it. He not only fixed the problem for which he was called but investigated in the attic until he located the source of this recurrent flooding, enabling us to hire the appropriate a/c specialist to fix it permanently. Furthermore, when continued leakage in the interval between Paul's repair and the a/c fix caused more ceiling damage, he returned to fix that for a nominal fee! He is always prompt, neat, skilled, and a fabulous communicator. I have a list of other issues - both at the historic structure and my own house - that I can't wait to get him started on!

I have recently invested in a single family home originally built in 1976. Previous owners had added a room in the back corner of house with a door which opens to the side yard. Who ever built the room cut a few corners. Some of the workmanship was quite short-sighted and poorly executed. In particular, the door jam leaked. I had noticed that the base boards next to the door were becoming discolored and some mold was growing. Upon reading reviews on Angie's List I called Paul's Home Pro Service. When he arrived and began investigating it was clear that Paul has a keen eye for workmanship - good and bad. He also takes a lot of effort to explain what he is seeing and thinking as he investigates. He educates about causes and effects of related problems in great detail. He confirmed that the door jam had indeed been poorly installed and pointed out that the door itself (metal) had not been primed and was showing some beginning signs of rust. Unfortunately, the situation with the door jam had allowed mold to begin growing in the drywall. Paul cut out all of the drywall that had evidence of spores, installed new drywall, fixed the door jam, sanded, primed and painted the door. In addition, he installed a gutter and replaced some damaged vinyl siding panels. I should also say that all of the work performed was discussed and all pricing agreed upon before it was begun. Paul gave me receipts for all materials used. In addition to the excellent workmanship, Paul also gave me a lot of invaluable advice about maintenance and how to avoid costly mistakes regarding everything from HVAC to soil erosion. In short, I feel that I received great value for the money spent and I highly recommend Paul's Home Pro Service.

Could not have gone better. Paul well coordinated the time of the project, showed up on time, did outstanding work, and left the area cleaner than when he started. Meticulous work; exceptional sense of responsibility. Our neighbore have already signed him up for more work in our neighborhood.
