Scott was prompt, professional, went to work, and fixed it. My only complaint is cost. I know it costs money to have things repaired by a professional. Just wish it wasn't so much, and I am speaking generally, not just this provider. This was the second time I have used this provider.

Scott arrived 1/2 hr after we called. He was very professional and well mannered. Explained the costs and products to us also. He was very informative and helpful about how to keep our drains clear and answered all our questions for us. He was here about 45 min. and cleaned up before he left leaving us with working pipes. We will be sure to use them in the future.

We initially had them out for an emergency and they did a wonderful job! We have been using them for our plumbing work ever since. They are excellent! We have referred them to others.

This review is overdue. Joe at Olin came to replace our water heater. He was very personable, knowledgeable & professional. He was very accommodating in allowing me to clean & paint the walls behind the water heater after he removed my old water heater & while he was prepping the new water heater. The space where my water heater is is very small & tight. Joe was very careful not to damage the painted walls & the white tile floor. Joe stated that we can call him anytime if there are issues with our new water heater....He is a gem! Recommend Joe to do any work & will call him again if I need future plumbing work.

Mr. Olin came out to give an estimate, and he and Joe came the day of service to get started. Joe worked very hard for eight plus hours, repairing a long-standing drain problem we have had. He removed the old rusted joint in the pipes behind the kitchen sink cabinet and attached new PVC, ran a new PVC vent pipe down from the roof to replace the crumbled iron one and removed all the decayed pieces. Our drains had not been correctly installed originally, so he replaced them in the correct manner. He also installed a new valve for the icemaker line, and checked it on the back of the refrigerator. He had to remove and replace the dishwasher and garbage disposal, and replaced the back of the cabinet with a new wall section. When everything was done, it looked perfect and the cabinet looked as it did before the work began. He was very professional, explained what was needed, and did all the work efficiently. Olin Plumbing doesn't work on commission, they are honest about the cost, and don't try to sell you what you don't need. We had another bid which was many times more costly because they did work on commission. I am very glad we chose Mr. Olin and Joe to do this work for us, we feel it was a very fair price, and are very satisfied with the quality of work done. They were very personable and pleasant to work with, and we would enthusiastically recommend them to others.

My washing machine has been backing up out of the wall when it drains because the plumbing leading away from the washer didn't drain quickly enough. Another plumbing company had come out and told me I needed $2300 worth of work to lay new plumbing and install a sump pump. Second opinion, please! Scott came right on time on the day of my appointment. I don't have a typical cleanout, but Scott rightly surmised that the vent cover installed on my washroom wall next to the washing machine drain was probably a cleanout (the previous plumber did not go any farther than asking me if I had one, to which my response was something like "Idunno"). He vacuumed the cleanout and showed me that there is a small vent cap with a floating plastic ball that sits on top of this pipe. If the ball rattles, the cap is doing its job (letting air escape to allow drainage). The washing machine drained properly on the first try, but began to back cup again on the second. He took off the cap and it drained properly again. Because I was already $190 in for the vacuuming, he advised me to just run to Home Depot and buy a $30 cap myself, so that I didn't have to pay another $190. Brilliant solution, practical plumber, happy day! Icing on the cake: I ran a load of laundry later in the day that took 30 minutes, not 4 hours of running back-and-forth to stop and start the washing machine. I will definitely use Olin Plumbing in the future!

Scott the plumbin technician was punctual, friendly and professional. He did his work with knowledge and skills. He was also clean when doing his work. He did not leave dirt anywhere. That was very good. I would call them again when I have plumbing isssues. We also used a coupon that I had downloaded and printed out from Angieslist. Otherwise the cost would have been $ 175.00. I asked for his business card and he gave us two big mugs from the company he works for. Overall it was a good experience.

Contacted via Angies list system, scheduled for an estimate. Scott came out (not the owner or regular estimator) since the owner was busy with other issues. Said I would receive an estimate in a few days via email. I contacted the contractor a week later to ask whether the estimate was emailed or lost. The secretary stated the estimate was still not complete. Now its two weeks after the initial appointment and I don't have an estimate yet. Guess they weren't interested in my business. Thanks for wasting my time guys!

I scheduled an appointment for an estimate for work, but on the morning of the appointment I received a call from Olin Plumbing stating that they would not be able to appear due to another plumbing emergency. The call came about 30 minutes prior to their scheduled arrival. When I attempted to reschedule later in the day, the phone was apparently forwarded to a worker. I was told the scheduler would call me back.

The work was done promptly. The technician was very professional and did a good job. I have used Olin Plumbing in the past on a couple of occasions and have been very pleased with their service. They have become my "go to" plumber.

Perfect. Straight forward pricing. Pulled out the book, and the cost of the job was published. This was an emergency call and they were at my house before the agreed upon time. AWESOME!

I was able to get a same day appointment. Joe arrived right on time and quickly assessed the problem and gave me a quote. We agreed on the price. He had all the parts needed on his truck and was able to get the problem fixed right away. Joe was professional and left a very clean area when he was done. I would absolutely use Olin Plumbing again. Excellent experience!

Scott explained the estimate in detail, and the work was completed as described. All went very well!

I was pleased with the work provided. I had a leaking tub which was replaced and new kitchen faucet. Joe came over for an estimate and was the same one to do the work later. He was very professional, friendly and helpful during the entire process. I would definitely consider Olin Plumbing again for any plumbing needs.

Olin Plumbing was unable to follow through with our scheduled appointment even after being told Derek was on his way. On January 26th I received a call at 11:38 from Jenifer who said Derek was on his way to my house to meet me for our 12:00 appointment. So I left my work and headed to my house. Sadly at 12:05 I received another call from Jenifer saying that Joe had to go back to his previous job site and it would be an hour until he would be at my place, which confused me because Jenifer said my appointment was with Derek. When I asked her what happened to Derek, I was placed on hold and after a couple minuets Jenifer pick the line back up and told me that Derek could be over to my house in 45 minutes. I said I could not wait because I would have to be back at work by then. I have found my plumbing needs elsewhere. Were they awful? No, not at all but I won?t give my business to a company that wastes my time.

Joe was OUTSTANDING! He evaluated the sink and said it was draining fine. Since I am selling my house and a buyer's inspector noted a slow sink, I asked if he would 'redo' it. He quoted standard hourly rate plus parts and I'm ecstatic. I will/would use them again in a heartbeat. Thanks Joe for the courtesy and professionalism.

Joe was prompt, courteous, and thorough. He did a great job and demonstrated a high degree of professionalism. I will look to this company for trustworthy service in the future.

Olin Plumbing did a great job with the plumbing jobs I needed completed at my house. I like how the service guy explained why and what he was doing. Everything is working as I expect it. I would definitely recommend and use again.

They were the only plumber that was willing to come out on New Year's Eve. I called several plumbers and they were the only ones. Water was just gushing out until I turned if off at the street. Excellent work and professional.

As rated above everything was great. The appointment was for a weekend on short notice. The Plumber arrived on time, was courteous and professional. The entire process could not have been better.

I had shut off the hot and cold water to the washing machine to remove it. 2 weeks later I got a new one and could not get the hot water faucet to turn. This house is 35 years old with most of the original plumbing. I called Olin Plumbing because I had used them before and Joe came out to fix it. He had been here before several months ago when I was trying to change the cartridges in the leaky bathtub faucets but I was not able to remove the seats. After I explained the problem and he looked at the faucets, he told me what needed to be replaced and how much it would cost. It would have been $165 to replace each valve but he knocked $100 of for the second. Because the pipes were so old, the piece behind the left valve was fused to it with rust and had to be replaced as well. Before removing the same piece on the right, he did warn me that if there were problems we would have to open the wall, but he was able to get it out easily. One thing that I really appreciated about this experience and the last is that he explains what needs to be done but also explains the potential consequences so there are no surprises and I can make an informed decision.

excellent service, explained what they needed to do, also answered my questions on leak and showed me details on the water meter to check if leak was in fact definitly stopped. The service was professional I rate it excellent.

I called Olin Plumbing and spoke with Kitty and made an appointment for the next morning between 10am and 1pm. Kitty called me the next morning and said Mike could be here before 10am. Mike arrived as stated and checked the sink and determined that the drain line under the sink was impacted with hardened waste and gave me an estimate, which I agreed to, before he did any work. He explained what had caused the clog and what I could do to prevent it from happening again. Very pleased with the work Mike did and the price. Mike is a very through and knowledgeable professional and is a valuable asset to Olin Plumbing. I will use them again and would recommend them to anyone needing a plumber.

Even on a Sunday he was there within a half hour of our phone call and he did a very good job, was polite and cleaned up after himself too. We will definitely use this company again.
