We had a toilet that was overflowing and clogging for unknown reasons and with some regularity. We called Olin Plumbing to see if they could provide a free estimate. The original estimate was scheduled for a Friday afternoon, but Judy called to say that they would have to arrive later than planned and we rescheduled for the following Monday. Judy was extremely polite and accommodating. It was understandable that a site visit for a free estimate was at a lower priority than a current job. Judy called on Monday to say that Anthony was on his way. Anthony arrived promptly and recommended that he remove the toilet to see if there are any apparent clogs. He said that this was better than simply using an auger because that method might scratch the toilet and may not permanently fix the issue. Anthony removed the toilet and found that the inner circle of the flange that had been installed a year ago by a different company (Bel-Mar Plumbing) was not properly reamed out, and therefore, tissue was being caught and was building up. He used a knife to ream and smooth out the flange and reset the toilet. He was very friendly, very courteous and did a great job! I appreciated how he took the time to explain what he was doing at every step of the way, from his recommendations to the fixing of the toilet. He even happily answered a few random general plumbing questions that we had for him. Anthony completed the service in the time that he said it would take, and left the restroom as clean as it was when he arrived. It was an easy and enjoyable experience dealing with Olin throughout the entire process and would definitely recommend their services.

I found Olin Plumbing on Angie's List, called their office at approximately 9:15 a.m. And Anthony was at my house at 9:47. He inspected multiple sites in house and outside major sewer connection. He quickly diagnosed the problem and quoted me the price for repair, saying he was 99% sure he could repair it within the hour. If it took longer than an hour to repair, he would then charge by the hour. That alarmed me as it left the final cost dependent on his skill and efficiency. Anthony was finished within the hour, and he took the time to show me what he was doing and explaining the process as he progressed. I thought the cost a little steep, but service was excellent. We had a smaller, Nona-acute plumbing issue that I asked him to fix. He dx the problem, and told me the part would cost ~$20; and, he showed how to do the repair. He said if he bought the part and installed it, he would have to charge me $195 for labor and part. Thank you, Anthony, for basically saving me $175. I found everyone in the company, from receptionist to plumber, to be efficient, knowledgeable and customer friendly. I will definitely call them next time I have a plumbing issue.

Bob arrived on time and was very friendly and professional. He answered all of my questions and completed the job timely. I have used Olin plumbing several times over the years and highly recommend them.

Mark came to check a toilet tank that wasn't filling with water. He immediately realized the problem (which I don't like to admit was something I could have done) and turned a knob behind the tank. The tank started filling right away. He did not charge me and was very courteous and nice. Was a bit embarrassing being that I tried to fix myself but never thought someone would have messed with the knob on the floor :) THANKS MARK!!

After a local "famous" appliance dealer's delivery personnel refused to reattach the water line to my new refrigerator, I urgently called around for a plumber. Judy at Olin Plumbing could not have been more responsive and helpful in scheduling a service call. Mark came out and reattached the line in no time and helped me place the refrigerator back on a base underneath the unit. Mark was very knowledgeable, professional and pleasant. Excellent service and value. From the identification of the problem, through the successful completion, I knew I was in capable hands with our plumber Joe. Although the removal of the old cartridge was a bit of a struggle, Joe was patient and removed everything successfully. Now with the new pressure control installed, the shower is like new ? great pressure and temperature control again. Thanks for all of your hard work.

This is the third time I've used Olin Plumbing. I'll call again whenever the need arises. They are professional, reliable, and thorough. The price for plumbing adds up quickly so I suffered some sticker shock. After looking over the completed work, the peace of mind and knowledge of quality workmanship is worth the investment. Olin Plumbing has been my go-to for three projects. The first was an unexpected water line break in a bathroom. Olin was on site within an hour and had me repaired quickly. The water damage from that first break led to a massive construction project, including new kitchen cabinets. The second project for Olin Plumbing was to remove excess PVC water and drain lines in the kitchen so I could remove the cabinets safely. Also, Olin replaced my outside water shut-off with copper which was partially underground. Finally, this last project was to get my sink and disposal hooked up. Since I already replaced shut-off valves in the rest of the house, I had Olin do the same in my second bathroom. The toilet shut-off caused a little issue as the PVC pipe broke during the process. Fortunately, the damage was minimal. Olin Plumbing is amazing. I couldn't be happier with the work. I've had several people with knowledge look over the work. All come away impressed with the quality.

Bob was timely and efficient. They offer a one year warranty on clogged pipes: free service if and as the same thing happens within one year.

The job went well The technicians were there on time and worked in a team of two. They were quite fast at doing their job and were friendly and informative as well. They told us not to sit on the toilet for the next 24 hours because the foundation of the toilet had to harden. The toilet itself is of good quality. I just feel that the ring and lid are of a cheap quality. We will be having to replace that. I felt that since the toilet was so expensive the ring and lid should have been of a higher quality material as well. They are made of a relatively thin plastic. But I guess it is part of the whole package which includes everything that comes with the toilet. This is something the manufacturer has to consider. Unfortunately they do not have a senior discount but they gave us $ 30 off, otherwise the toilet would have costed $ 750,-. That was nice. I think this company is a good one. I have taken service a few times and was satisfied everything. They are trustworthy and friendly. I would hire them again.

An appointment was set this past Friday and Joe arrived first thing this morning for repair. He was prompt, polite, knowledgeable, and completed the work without difficulty.

Scheduled for first thin in the morning. They arrived right on time, and completed the work, cleaning up after themselves. Very professional job.

It turned out the leak was from a broken faucet, and I would need to purchase what I wanted. I did, and another appointment was set up very quickly. Joe was very awesome. Professional and exceptionally nice. He talked to me about a couple of other things that he came across while working on the faucet, and offered to go through a walk through with me the next time I called. Which I will do very soon. This company is awesome!

They answered the phone quickly at 8:05 and we had Joe the service guy on site by 10:05. Very professional and knowledgeable of our need. My wife was very pleased and we would recommend them.

We had a blockage in the water line that created water to rise in showers, tubs and decreased water in toilets after the washing machine was started. We had not had this problem before, so we knew we needed a plumber and fast since it was Friday! We found Olin Plumbing on angies list and was impressed with the reviews. My husband called the office and a tech was sent within an hour. Joe was the technician that came to the house. He was punctual, polite and knowledgeable. He went through the house with my husband to see the problems in each room. He ended up having to snake the line to clear blockage. Luckily this worked... We would definitely recommend and will use again in the future if needed.

Let me begin by saying that knowledge is power, I am slowly learning the hard way that a little research on the customer's side will better educate as to the complexity and value of the service you are requesting. The nature of the problem and reason for the call to a plumber was that the shower faucets in both bathrooms were not functioning properly, they were difficult to turn on/off, and were not regulating the hot/cold water as they should. One also leaked around the faucet when in operation. I have my expertise but it is not in plumbing, so I went to Angie's List for help in finding a qualified plumber that was also highly rated by previous customers. I discovered when it comes to getting estimates for the repair job, most companies charge a $35.00 trip charge. One of the factors in selecting Olin Plumbing was the fact they offer in home estimates at no charge to the customer. I called Olin and set up an appointment for an estimate and was given a date with a window of between 9 & 1:00, as expected I received a call at 12:30 and was told plumber would be there by 1:00. The plumber arrived at 1:00 and after checking the faucets, I was told the cost would be $530.00 and I could apply the $30.00 Angie's coupon for a net of $500.00. Not knowing what was involved in the repair I ask what it would cost to replace the entire faucet rather than replace just the internal cartridge and was told I don't even want to consider that because it would be approx. $1600.00. I approved the replacement of the internal cartridges. And was satisfied with the plumbers work and the repair. My complaint after the fact is now I have knowledge of what the repair involved. The entire service call lasted less than 1 hour and involved removing 4 screws and the utilization of a cartridge puller wrench which can be purchased at Lowe's for $12.99. The parts are also available at Lowes, the replacement cartridges are $19.99 each and the silicone $3.99. With these parts and a YouTube video I probably could have saved myself a lot of money. I prefer to leave repairs to the professional and put my trust in their knowledge to do it right and to save me a lot of aggravation, but I also don't want to be ripped off with exorbitant charges, as they say walk in my shoes. I did not complain to Olin because I was given and agreed to the charges, my point is educate yourself as a consumer and be prepared to make smart decisions or it will cost you a lot of money.

Very well. He had to return because I needed to supply a part, which he did at no additional charge. He was very professional, courteous, and explained everything related to the service, which was performed well and on time.

He really went above and beyond. He fixed everything even better than it was before. I would recommend him to anyone who has a plumbing problem.

Bob did a fantastic job both in clearing the blockage and explaining what needed to be done and why. If I need a plumber in the future, I will only use Olin Plumbing.

Olin Plumbing went beyond my expectations by providing service on the morning of Christmas Eve after being called the night before. Bob was courteous and answered all of my questions professionally. I will use them in the future and would recommend them to others.

Mark was the plumber to come to the rescue. They reacted very quickly as I had called two companies before them and they couldn't get to us for 36 hours and we needed someone immediately because of a dinner party that night. Mark assessed the issue right away. He explained how the replacement would be completed and then within about 10 minutes he was completed with the job. He was also sure to clean up behind him as well as offering us counsel on how to dry the cabinet out so to minimize any further damage caused by the water upon the cabinet base. Mark was also very polite and professional.
