It went well. Bob, the plumber who did the work, was very friendly and professional. He saw the problem and offered a good solution. The cost seemed a little high, but the job was done right.

Good, showed up early on the 12-4PM Time Given Quoted the priceand completed the work in about an hour.

When water did not immediately leak, the plumber actually asked if I wasn't just confused and had been splashing water on the counter during daily tasks - before going on to explain how "finicky women are when picking out faucets" - needless to say, I do not recommend and it was a quick visit - the guy was very nice, but newsflash plumbers - if a female is capable of owning her own home, chances are she knows what a faucet leak is - which was leaking already by the time I walked him out - I will say that the office person was very nice and if I were not a female, perhaps my faucet would have been fixed - I deal with a lot of contractors and this is a new winner for offensive

Joe and Mike replaced the broken section of hot water pipe under the house. They were very competent and professional. Joe explained everything and showed us the ruptured pipe.

It went very well. I had a tight schedule and Olin Plumbing was able to work with me. I asked for a favor of sending a plumber early in the 9-12 window and they more than obliged. Bob came out and was very polite and professional. I would definitely use them again if another problem arises and suggest them if my friends ever needed a plumber.

First the good: Easy to make an appointment and the Plumber was friendly, on time and worked quickly. He did not try to upsell a new water heater to me and he kept me informed of everything he was doing and let me observe and educated me. The Bad: However, in order to check the water heater, he had to turn off the main water valve. Well....when he did, it created a small leak ( It 100% was not leaking before ! ). So, when I called to report this and asked Judy ( by the way, it took 2 calls for her to respond), then finally the office manager Jen about fixing the leak, I was told that they would need to replace the entire valve, which was $335. That they did not do "patchwork"-even though this leak was as a result of them turning off the main water valve. You would think that as a courtesy, and good customer relations that they would have addressed this minor leak and fixed it, because yes , it can be fixed not completely replaced!-the house is only 9 years old . Summary is this--I did get the leak fixed, and nope it did not require the entire valve to be replaced for $335. Sadly, I feel their customer service is lacking and unfortunately they have lost a customer who would have at some point spent several thousand dollars with them, not to mention I am in the career field where I make referrals to home repair type companies (such as plumbers, electricians, etc)

It went very well. Bob was very knowledgeable and friendly. The job was completed in a timely manner and he offered many suggestions on how to keep the toilet functioning like new for a very long time. Olin Plumbing is just an excellent company.

Olin Plumbing was wonderful. We needed our drain cleaned out on a Sunday and they were available. They gave an estimate over the phone which was nice to know. They arrived with in the time frame stated and quickly had our issue fixed. They were friendly and thorough completing the job. We will definitely use them in the future.

Olin's was able to get me in their schedule pretty quickly. Bob showed up to fix an outdoor water bib that had sprung a leak behind the stucco wall after 30-45 minutes he was done and even took a few extra steps to make sure the job was done right the first time. They do not repair stucco but he was efficient and kept the hole as small as possible so that minimal stucco repair is needed and I can do it myself.

Work was expertly provided. I am very happy with the outcome. Thanks Bob!

Joe showed up on time and was able to complete the work on the same visit. He explained everything he was doing and provided guidance on potential items to be corrected in the future.

Joe arrived on time in a big truck loaded with plumbing tools and parts. He listened to my story, surveyed the situation, asked a few questions, presented the solution and with my blessing, got to work. Well... the job turned out to be much more difficult than I could have imagined. Joe had to dig, hack and saw his way through a tangle of roots to finally expose and repair the water line. At times, I thought that we would have to call in the the heavy equipment (backhoe) to get at the problem - but Joe turned out to be a very likable, tenacious, savvy and"never quit" kind of guy. A few hours later I was singing in the shower knowing that my wife was happy downstairs with a constant supply of hot water. My hat goes off to Joe and the professionals at Olin Plumbing - they will continue to be my 1st choice for plumbing work in the future

On June 20, 2016 I had Olin come to fix two toilets in my guest bathrooms. One was loose and the other was leaking water around the caulking at the floor. I had used Olin a couple of times back in 2015 and was very satisfied with their promptness and professionalism but felt they were a little on the expensive side. Since the previous work was relatively minor I did not mind the previous costs. Once again, Olin was on time and professional. The plumber, Bob, obviously knew what he was doing and wasted no time getting the toilets back in working order. This latest work, however, came as a surprise when I saw the final bill. In fact, I do not quite understand how the amount was arrived at. The bill has three entries: Pull and reset toilet in hall bath, standard rate = $200.36 Toilet flange replacement on hall bath toilet, add on rate = $221.00 Pull and reset toilet in back bath, add on rate = $175.36 TOTAL $596.72 I am used to seeing billing such as this broken down into parts and labor amounts and maybe in some cases, a service charge. Here, all I can tell is that the “reset” price is different for the two bathrooms because one is labeled standard rate and the other is labeled add on rate. I do not know the difference. In looking up the cost of a toilet flange at Home Depot it ranges between $10 and $20 so what is meant by the add on rate of $221 on top of the reset standard rate is a mystery to me. All I know is the cost to fix that one toilet was $421.36. In talking to Bob as he was finishing, I mentioned that I would like them to come back and replace the box that houses the washing machine faucets. He said that doing a proper job would possibly entail cutting out some sheetrock to properly install the fittings, (which made sense to me); but that the extra work necessary to do the job right would cost around $400. Once again I looked up the cost of the faucet box with a center drain at Home Depot and they range from $20 to $40 so I guess the other $360 is for labor etc. The problem is, I cannot afford to pay prices like this so I either have to find a less expensive plumbing company or take the job on myself. In closing, this review is not to denigrate Olin plumbing in any way; they have been top notch every time I used them. The issue is purely the cost and my ability/willingness to pay.

I am a Realtor and always recommend Olin Plumbing. This service was on my personal residence. Excellent customer service!! From making the appointment with Judy to going over the repair with Bob, they have great customer service. Courteous and prompt with quality workmanship. Bob came out and explained that he would be digging a trench for the new line and where he would be taking it from. Everything was put back exactly the way it was, and I had to worry about nothing!

Everything went well from start to finish. Mark arrived on time, and was very professional. I thought I needed a new disposal, but it was a simple fix. I also needed new parts for a running toliet. I thought the price was a little high for such a small job, but seemed in line with other companies. We also discussed another project in which he explained the most economical way to complete. I will definitely call back when ready .

We had our gas turned off when we had to tent our house for termites. The company that turned it off was supposed to turn it back on and never showed up. I chose this company after reading all the positive reviews. I called on a Saturday and they answered the phone right away. Jen was very helpful! Anthony came in the the pouring down rain and turned the gas back on. He checked the 3rd floor tankless heater to make sure it was working properly and that all appliances with gas were also up and running. I mentioned that we had a possible problem with the first floor toilet and he graciously checked it out and fixed it immediately. I am switching to Olin Plumbing!

Judy was my customer service contact at Olin.I called after hours and left a message with my call back info and details of what I needed. She called me promptly the next morning and set up an appointment for the next day. The day of the appointment, Judy called to let me know that the plumber was on his way. Anthony was 10 minutes earlier than Judy said he would be, and met me at the door with a pair of shoe coverings to keep my home clean. I took him to the two areas that needed to be repaired, and with each one, Anthony explained what needed to be done to correctly fix my leaks. After giving me a complete price, he quietly came in, with all the tools and materials needed to complete the work. He fixed each problem, and after checking and double checking, he came and got me to look over what he had done. I was encouraged to ask any questions I had and what to look for if there were any future problems. Anthony then checked for leaks yet again, and when he was completely satisfied, went out to his truck to put things away and write my final bill. When he came in with the final bill, Anthony again checked everything, tightened a couple of valves, and finally took my check for payment. He also had included my Angie's list discount of $30. When my wife came in to put things away, she remarked that Anthony left it cleaner than when he found it. Overall, we are more than pleased with the work performed, and not only will use Olin's Plumbing in the future, we will recommend them to all our friends and neighbors.

Anthony, the plumber, arrived within one hour of my calling for an appointment. He was great, and very professional. He replaced or "rebuilt" the inside of two toilets that were not filling up with water or was slow to fill up.

My entire experience with Olin Plumbing exceeded my expectations and that rarely happens. My electric hot water heater died on the Saturday afternoon of Memorial Day weekend. I was dreading the task of having to locate a plumber for service on a holiday weekend. After reading the reviews on Angie's List I gave Olin Plumbing a call. Jennifer answered the phone and couldn't have been nicer. She was willing to send out a plumber within the next 1-2 hours, but since it was already around 6pm I told her she could just send someone in the morning. The next morning Bob showed up and he was very nice as well. He answered all my questions and had the job completed in under 2 hours. He also made sure everything was cleaned up. Overall a great company who cares about their customers and employs knowledgeable plumbers. I would definitely use them again.

Joe was the plumber who originally reviewed the work needing to be done. On the day of the repairs, he arrived on time and worked efficiently, completing each repair. The inside repairs went smoothly. No surprises when the original mechanisms were removed. Only the work actually needed was done. For example, only the cartridge needed replacing and not the valve. The outside faucet required some additional attention after the initial repair, the faucet was still leaking. . We have wood siding and in order to repair the outside faucet, this needed to be cut away. Joe, made clean cuts so we could easily have the wood siding repaired. He was able to repair the faucet without needing to replace pipes leading into the concrete slab. We would definitely use Olin again and ask for Joe.

Olin Plumbing appears to be a very efficient company because Mark came to my house within the time frame I was given by their office and he immediately recognized the problem and completed the job within about half an hour. I was very impressed with their expertise and response time and I will contact them again when I have need of a plumbing company.

Very well, they arrived promptly and quickly determined the problem. It was fixed and we were up and running again in less than 1 hour. We've used this company before and have always been satisfied with the results.

Anthony diagnosed the problem quickly and told me the cost would be $175 to pull the toilet, replace the wax ring, and reseat it. I said ok. Once the pulled he toilet, he found my 3 previous "repairs" to the flange, which had broken 10 years ago and which I had repaired the best I knew how over the years. With my nonprofessional repairs revealed, I was busted. Anthony suggested he could remove my work and start from the beginning to replace the flange professionally. Or, he could put a wax ring on top of my work, but could not offer a guarantee because he was uncomfortable with the situation he found under my toilet. But, it would cost me more to get the flange repaired properly. I appreciated his honesty (and humor--great guy--would request him again for sure). I opted for a total professional repair, and removal of my Gerry-rigged previous repairs. He even added shims to fix the crooked toilet, which had been crooked since we bought the house (17 years ago), when he re-grouted the bowl. Anthony was great, and the repair was excellent. He spent a lot of extra time to make sure the job was done right. Great price for a thorough repair. Highly recommend and will only use Olin Plumbing for any future repairs.

It worked out very good. I plan on using them again in the future.
