New View Blinds and Shutters

We are very satisfied with our experience with New View Blinds. Peter was prompt, courteous and professional. We had vertical blinds installed for our sliding doors, new blinds installed for the bedroom windows and shutters for the front windows. Peter came out and showed us samples, helped us choose the right style and provided an accurate quote.

Peter responded immediately to my initial call, came out the next day to measure and give us a price. He helped us pick out the best color for the blinds, as well. He gave me an approximate date to expect the blind to come in, then called me when it had arrived to set up installation. He arrived right on time, and completely the work in a timely manner. The whole experience was excellent. Peter was prompt, pleasant and did the job up to my expectations.

Peter was prompt, very friendly and professional. We wanted all the shades replaced throughout the house and after calling him, he came on the same day and provided us with lots of information on the product available. We ordered shades for the 3 door sliders in the living room and 2 door sliders in the master bedroom. Blinds were also ordered for the master bedroom windows. We ordered shutters for the kitchen and front bedroom bay windows. The custom made shutters were ready in 2-3 weeks. At our convenience, Pete arrived and removed and installed all of the new shades, blinds and shutters. Pete has lots of experience, is very efficient and installation/labor is free.

The whole process was very good. Peter, the owner, personally arrived at my condo on time, provided me with lots of information about the product and helped me decide what would look best in my home. He indicated that the products would be installed on specific dates and they were. Peter is a very professional and reliable business man. I highly recommend him to you.

I called Peter to get more information regarding his services and products, to which he replied by offering a visit to our home in which he would present us with all the different options, free of charge. He was able to come to our house on the next day, took measurements of our door, and presented us with all the different options. His expertise in his field was invaluable when helping us to choose something that would be appropriate, since we're first-time homeowners who are having many of these experiences for the first time. We chose what we wanted done, and moved forward by paying 50% of the job's total price. He explained that it would take between a week and 10 days for the job to be ready and installed, but the turnaround was much quicker, and 6 days later our beautiful vertical blinds were installed. The quality of the materials used, as well as the quality of his work, have no rival. Everything is top-notch, and a great addition to our great room. I can't stop staring at our vertical blinds. They add a great touch of personality to our home. And on top of all that, Peter is a great human being. We could tell that his main concern was providing a high-quality, affordable job, that would make us happy. He is a professional in all the sense of the word, and we would gladly recommend him to anyone requiring the services that New View provides.

The work turned out great. They were even able to take my credit card information with their phone, which was convenient.

I am extremely satisfied with my new verticals and shades. It was an absolute delight to work with Peter. He was very knowledgeable, punctual, professional and friendly. He spent a lot of time with me on the initial visit and answered all of my questions and made a few suggestions that I wouldn't have thought of otherwise. He brought with him a large sample of his product and explained the pros and cons of each. Expertise from someone in the profession is always appreciated. When it came time to install the verticals and shades he showed up right on time, did a beautiful job with the installation and cleaned up after himself so there was no mess left behind. I would definitely recommend Peter's company to my friends, neighbors and family!!!

From quote to installation the process was amazing smooth. From time of ordering to install was only about 3 weeks. I couldn't believe it. Last company I used delivery was over 5-6 weeks. Price was more than reasonable. Installation was smooth. Couldn't have asked for anything more perfect. Peter is a very nice man. Does excellent work!!! You can't go wrong with using him.

Our dog decided to break our old blinds so I contacted Peter for an estimate. He arrived on time and explained all our options. We decided to go with new blinds. Pete did his thing and a week later he was back completing the installation. Peter did a great job from start to finish. His pricing was very good and his service was excellent. It was a pleasure to work with Peter from start to finish. He was able to schedule the appointment for our estimate within a day or two of our initial conversation. He was professional, punctual, and knowledgeable about the products. We decided to go with wood blinds. Peter set our expectations that it would take approximately 1 week for the blinds to be produced. As promised, he called a week later and came out the following day to install the blinds. We were very happy with the quality of the blinds as well as the overall experience. We would certainly call Peter again for any future window treatment needs.

We were very pleased with the job Peter and his company did for us!! He not only was able to come out and give us an estimate quickly but was able to get the blinds in and installed within only a couple days after we moved in. He was also very easy to work with and great about keeping us informed about what was going on. The house looks great and the windows look so much better than they did prior to Peter's hard work! Peter was wonderful!!! Very professional, wonderful product!!! I made several calls to other Angie's list "A" rated blinds company and he was the only one who called me back. He called me the same day and was out the next for an estimate at my new house. His prices were competitive and the product was beautiful. We built a new house so we needed blinds for ALL windows. He came and showed me samples of his products, measure all windows and gave me the estimate right on the spot. He came and installed all blinds himself in 2 weeks after we met when the custom blinds arrived. He made 2 trips out on my request as I had multiple appointments on the first day but my plantation blinds had not arrived yet (which I new in advance). He came 2 days later and installed the plantations as promised. They all look beautiful and work wonderfully. The plantations needed a slight adjustment and he came out within 2 days and made the adjustment. I was thrilled with the job overall and the prices of the installed blinds were close to the local lowes/home depot and much less "painful" as he did EVERYTHING!!!

He came when he said he would, worked efficiently and it was reasonably priced. I would recommend him to anyone and will call him again in the future if I need any further work.

I am very happy with the overall experience dealing with Peter. I contacted him due to the positive reviews on Angie's List after receiving several other estimates for plantation shutters. He returned my call promptly and was very accommodating of my schedule when performing the measuring and estimate. His price was less than the other quotes that I received, and the product appeared to be of excellent quality. When the shutters arrived, he was again able to accomodate my schedule and install them the same day. The shutters all look great and I'm very happy with the entire experience. They did a fantastic job and we are very pleased with them. They were honest and upfront and they haven't added anything extra. Their work was so neat that there was no dust after the job was complete. They were perfectionists and I would recommend them to anybody.

We were moving to Texas and decided that new blinds would really make the house more appealing for potential tenants. We weren't exactly sure what sizes to get, especially for the custom size windows on the landing and the guest bedroom. We gave Peter with New View a call and he was able to stop by the same day to give us an estimate. He wasn't the first installer coming in, but he acted very professionally and he looked like a guy I wouldn't be worried about letting in the house. We agreed on the price so he did the measurements right away and also gave us excellent advice on the different options we had (faux wood vs. aluminum, etc.). We ordered the blinds online and Peter was able to come in and install them on a Saturday morning, which was really great for us. He arrived at the time we arranged, moved quickly and precisely, and left no traces of dust or rusty old screws on the floor. The measurements were spot on and the new blinds fit beautifully into our windows. Our new tenants like them, and the installation looks like it is going to last for a few good years.

Peter was great - He called after we paid for the blinds and did all the measurements. Afterward, he called with the blinds and installed them as promised. He worked around my schedule and came in the morning. I lost very little time from having to go to work. His promptness and speed with the installation was great!!!

He has put vinyl and "soft" blinds on a total of eleven windows and a French door. He is the only one that will do work in my house. I will be using him again. He does such a good job and is reasonable in price. He is polite and is easy talk to.

I custom ordered my blinds. When the blinds came in, I called Peter to schedule the delivery and installation. I was able to schedule a time that worked good with my schedule. It took approximately 30 minutes for Peter to install all six of my blinds. I fell under the minimum installation charge, so all I paid was the $65.00, which I felt was very reasonable. Since Peter also works with Blinds To Go, when they have warranty work, he is the one who will pick-up, deliver and reinstall the product at no additional cost to the consumer.

They've been professional and worked with us as far as our days off-- which we couldn't get other companies to do.
