Great experience. Peter came out as requested, measured and placed my order. Six weeks later I have beautiful shutters at an affordable price. Peter is very knowledgeable, professional and a pleasure to work with.

Peter installed plantation shutters at my home in Feather Sound in 2015. I sold that home just about a year later and found myself missing those window treatments in my current home - a LOT. I had been so pleased with his work and work ethic in 2015 that it never occurred to me to hire anyone else. So I recently had him install plantation shutters everywhere in my current St. Petersburg home. Further, I asked his advice for my sliding glass doors, which overlook a small lake. I didn't want plantation shutters because I wanted the doors to be wide open and unobstructed during the day. Peter suggested a roller shade, saying it was what was currently trending in terms of covering sliders. It was the perfect solution. There were a couple of hiccups along the way - nothing of Peter's doing, but some small errors by the manufacturer. He took care of them quickly and competently. Everything is now complete, looks fabulous and as before, I could not be happier with Peter's professionalism, work ethic and the products he installs. I will recommend him highly to my friends and neighbors.

It could not have gone better. Peter is super nice, competent, and professional. Has like 23 years experience. Came out and gave us ideas - lots of options. We ended up with about $1450 for the 2 products, installed. We had an estimate from a designer furniture store over $7000.... really. We had a nice patterned pull blind on triple pocket slider. Looks and operates great. Then a 2/3 and 1/3 shutter over garden tub. This was a trickier install but fabulous. He knows his product, owns the business and installs himself. Cleaned up perfectly. Just a great, great, great experience. Can't go wrong. Do yourself a favor, call Peter.

It went great. Peter was punctual, totally professional, and fast. He does it all himself, sell, install,etc. so accountability rests with one person. Any promises made were kept unfailingly. We actually did use again after first group of window treatments were installed we ordered a second group. I would highly recommend.

Peter was outstanding. Very professional and always on time. We only ordered for 3 windows and when he installed them we liked them so much that we had the rest of the house done. Peter took new measurements and texted me a quote that night. He does a fantastic and very quick installation and cleans up afterwards. First, I contacted Peter for an in home estimate and he was very responsive and came to appointment on time. He was very professional and diligent with his measurements and even noticed that one of the bedrooms with chair rail molding was going to impact how the blinds would slide down flush, no other company who came out to make estimates noticed this issue. We ultimately decided to go with his company due to the quality of his products, and his very competitive pricing. Once we agreed to terms, shades and shutters were installed within 2 weeks which was exactly what he promised. We are very pleased with the final results and love our new shades and shutters! Peter returned my email and we scheduled a time for him to come by to provide an estimate. Prior to this, my wife and I had gathered 3 others quotes for plantation shutter from a few reputable companies in Tampa (you're familiar with them all). 1st thing that stood out about Peter was his professionalism. He showed up when promised and on time. We welcomed him into our home and the first thing he did was remove his shoes. He again thanked us for giving him the opportunity to earn our business and went to work taking measurements while providing us options on look and styles go shutters. At the end of his business he provided thorough explanation of cost and the time it would require to get the work done. His price not only was the least expensive of all the companies we met, he won us over on his desire to work with us and just being a fair and reasonable guy. The work was to take roughly 4-6 weeks (manufacturing time with install). We were so pleased with his work we went ahead and had an extra room done. Living in Florida, I've grown very leery of contractors - an actual dislike of them due to such poor work and broken promises. Peter has helped me realize that not all contractors are built the same. By far the best customer service we've received since owning our first home. His prices are very fair and most importantly, he did what he said he was going to do. Excellent service. Peter is so pleasant and really knows his product and what will work well for whatever your needs are. I needed to replace old pleated shades and blinds with a cordless option since my cats find anything that dangles an invitation to play and “prey” with. Initial email message sent through Angie's List, Peter responded same day with a phone call. We setup an appointment in house to go through design choices and pricing. On the spot, he was able to give me a firm estimate for the blinds after taking measurements. He was very good at explaining the different blind choices and how they operate, installation methods and warranty. We setup an appointment for install and he did an excellent job at replacing all my blinds and cleaning up after his work. Impeccable service and will definitely refer him to friends and family.

I would highly recommend New View and was fortunate to find Peter on Angie’s list. I previously used Budget Blinds and was satisfied, but I wanted to check around this time. Peter provided a quote that was 30% less than Budget Blinds. He was punctual and provided high quality blinds and they look great! He even worked around my very challenging schedule and was very flexible with the installation.

Excellent. I couldn't get it repaired and it had to be replaced. Peter set up a quick appointment, brought his samples , measured the window and gave me a written estimate. He was done in less than 30 minutes. After checking with other vendors, I called Peter, he came over, double checked measurements, confirmed the color and material and took a deposit. Two weeks later the shutter was in, Peter removed the old shutter and put in the new one in just about half an hour. Very neat, efficient and fast. Shutter is top quality. I'n very pleased with the whole process.

it went very well. Peter had wide variety of selections and took the time to explain the differences between them. I picked 2" faux wood blinds for the kitchen and vertical blinds for the living room. They look great and I could not believe how once the order was delivered to Peter, how quickly he was able to install them. Installed about 3 weeks latter than originally quoted. One of the blinds was defective and it took another couple of weeks before we got the replacements.

The owner made an appointment to measure my windows, he showed me pictures of blinds and shutters that he had installed. He gave me an estimate for both shutters and blinds since , I Wanted a combination of both. He was very friendly. He was not a pushy salesperson. I took several days to decide on the how the combination of blinds and shutters would work for my home and budget. The price was fair and lower that another estimate I received.
