New View Blinds and Shutters

Peter came out to our home 3 weeks ago and measured for some shutters that we wanted built and installed. He arrived on time and was very professional. He quoted us a price and told us it would take 3 weeks to complete. Yesterday he called us that our shutters were in and came out today to install them. It was 3 weeks to the day. The shutters were better than expected and he installed them in a timely manner. The price was exactly as quoted. Everything was perfect. I would highly recommend this company and Peter to anyone looking to have this type of work done.

New View lived up to all the expectations I had. Peter scheduled our first appointment and was prompt. As I explained to him what I wanted, he was very helpful and honest. When I told him I wanted to install plantation shutters in my office he noticed that there was a chair rail that ran into the window frame and he told me that he could cut the chair rail and some of the bead board in the window frame but he wasn't sure how it would come out. I was then surprised when he honestly told me he would not be comfortable doing that. I was so impressed! Most people would just do the job and not care how it turned out and leave me to deal with the results, but Peter told me he really didn't want to do it. So I asked him for any suggestions he might have and he recommended faux wood blinds that were horizontal and would give me am similar look. He showed me samples and I chose a product I really liked. A week later he called to set up an installation. Once again he was on time and installed the blinds. They look amazing and I am so happy with my choice! After the installation, Peter got rid of my old blinds and cleaned up leaving no mess what so ever. I would definitely recommend Peter and New View and if I need anymore window treatments, I will be calling him! He truly is a professional and cares about his work!

Peter is the most honest salesman that I have had the pleasure to do business with. He does not take advantage of you because of the size of your house. His prices are fair and the workmanship is excellent. We have a 4700 sq ft house and we felt we received the best quote the first time. He was much cheaper than other estimates we received. He volunteered the Angie's discount. Everything was cleaned up. He removed the garbage and took it with him. He was always punctual and polite. A pleasure to work with. He had a good choice of options.

I can not say enough!! Peter was the best!! On time, professional, job done as expected as well as exceeded our expectations. We purchased a townhome and moved in to find that EVERY blind in home was stripped. He came and measured with in 2 days. Educated us on blinds and how since it was a permanent fixture, we DID NOT have to pay TAX!! The other two highly recommended blind companies said we did. I checked with our tax accountant and sure enough, you do NOT. That was just the icing on the cake! I love Peter! He had previously installed window treatments at our home in Treasure Island. My son bought his first home and I would not even consider anyone else. Peter did an excellent job. I would highly recommend him to anyone not wanting to install blinds. Keep in mind that you can also purchase blinds from Peter. I did not realize this service, and I purchased the blinds online. I would prefer to purchase from local people opposed to giving large corporations that business.

We chose 3 1/2 " shutters and 2" blinds throughout the house. They are all beautiful! Very quality products. It was such a pleasure dealing with Peter, he is very professional and conscience. He did an excellent job installing all shutters and blinds. Being at the end of a very long whole house renovation it was such a relief to have something go exactly right. Peter was an absolute delight to work with. I appreciate his patience, his honesty and the fact that he sold me what I needed rather than what I wanted. I had my heart set on shutters until Peter explained to me all the reasons why shutters were not a good fit for us. Most blind companies would have just gone ahead and installed the shutters, because they are far more expensive than blinds, and then just let the customer deal with the dissatisfaction down the road?but not Peter. He is genuinely interested in his customer?s satisfaction, short and long term, and that was evident throughout the process. My only regret is that I did not call him sooner. We are completely satisfied and would highly recommend Peter to anyone.

.Peter was very friendly and professional. He was punctual when making the appointment to measure the windows for shutters. He was very knowledgeable and advised that shutters would be in 3 weeks and that is when they arrived exactly as measured. Peter contacted on 9/11/13 and advised me that shutters were in and asked when he could install them. I advised him I would be available 9/12/13 for installation. He promptly came out at 930am and had them installed in about an hour. I will be using him again for our other windows.

What an amazing experience!!! I had already received a couple of quotes from two other companies when I decided to check on Angie's List for ratings before I agreed to use either of them. After my disappointment in what I found from their ratings, I saw the listing for New View Blinds and with ALL "A's", I knew I had to give them a shot. I emailed Peter that morning and he called me back within a very short time to set up an appointment to come to my home for an estimate. First I want to say that I had met and used Peter's services when I purchased a whole house window treatments from a local company that Peter was the installer. That experience was the reason I called him again for my rental house. As expected - He over a cost-effective solution to my remodeling and offered a better product than I would have found on own. We asked Peter to come out and give us an estimate for new shades because of his positive reviews on Angie's List. He arrived on-time for our appointment, and was the consummate professional from start-to-finish. His prices were what we expected for custom-made shades, and we had absolutely no doubt that we wanted to place an order with him. It took approximately 10 business days for our shipment to come in (which was how long he had informed us it would take), and Peter was even willing to come out and install them for us on a Saturday. The install took less than 45 minutes to complete, and my wife and I couldn't be happier with how beautifully it all turned out. To say that Peter did an awesome job would be an understatement...and he even cleaned-up after himself! In closing, we would highly recommend Peter and New View Blinds Shades and Shutters, and we will definitely contact him for our future window treatment needs. Peter was the consummate professional. On the day of our appointment he was punctual, engaging, and his wealth of knowledge on design and what would fit into our home was outstanding. Peter did a phenomenal job from start to finish. He is very easy to work with and very responsive. He came to my house with samples and photos of his work. I wanted faux wood plantation blinds can, and Peter knew exactly what I wanted. I chose the details like color, width, and valance, and he took measurements. Rather than an estimate, I decided I wanted to order them and get installed soonest. He said the blinds would take a week, and that is exactly what it took. Peter knows everything about blinds. I also am happy with the wands on the blinds instead of cords, which I asked for. Installation took about an hour and was fast. He took his boxes and trash with him, and there was no mess. Peter arrived on time for an estimate, was courteous efficient friendly and honest. I liked him right off. He measured the windows, showed us samples explained everything. This man Peter was the most fantastic, professional, and effecient man I could possibly work with. I'm. in my 60's and dealt with a lot of professionals, but couldn't say more about him. He called me right back came out immediately and he had them within weeks! They are gorgeous, love them! What a lovely experience!
