It was a pleasure doing business with Peter. We called him for a quote to have two window shutters installed. Peter literally arrived at our house within 5 minutes of calling him. He did the measurements and gave us a quote and was already coordinating with the manufacture to have our order expedited. The install was done within a week of getting the quote. The installation was fast and professionally done. We intend to use his services again in the future. We highly recommend New View for your projects.

Peter is very professional and detail oriented. He did a wonderful job. The day after installation, we noticed a small manufactures defect on one of the shutters. I informed Peter of the problem and he was back at our house that same day to get it taken care of quickly. We are very happy with the look, installation, and quality of our shutters. Painless process to select three blinds with installation one week later. A great customer service experience.

If we could give a rating of A++, we would. Peter was phenomenal to work with. He was very nice, professional, and knowledgeable. We needed new vertical blinds in our family room for our sliding glass door. The blinds were the original track in the house from almost 30 years ago. Peter explained what was done (or not done) by the person who installed the original blinds as they were falling out of the header. Peter did a temporary fix so the blinds would not fall down while the new ones were on order. Peter gave us 2 possible dates the blinds would be ready and they were ready on the earlier date. He installed the new ones and hauled the old ones away. He did a great job and the new blinds look awesome. He is great to work with and his price was better than other bids we got. We have already started talking to Peter about future blinds projects that we will need to have done. We would hire Peter again in a heartbeat.

I was a bit panicked because I waited until the last minute before moving into our new home to make arrangements for window treatments. I had 10 windows, 2 sliding glass doors and a pool bath door to cover. I am extremely happy that I found Peter on Angie's List. This was a job on a rental property i have in the tampa area. I called New View, left a message, and they called me back promptly the same day. They set up an appointment to measure the windows in the house, and two weeks later they were installed. Super easy transaction, and working with them was a pleasure. Much easier than dealing with a big box store like home depot or lowes who took longer and the quality of their blinds were inferior. Very happy with my decision to go with New View.

Best blind install we have ever paid for. Came out, measured, and provided us with a quote. About ten days later, came and installed the blinds. No fuss, no mess, all blinds fit the windows perfectly. Truly nice experience delivered by a company I would do business repeatedly. The appointment times were made and kept.

The shudders were delivered on time and the installation was exactly as expected. The rooms look finished and actually refined, better than I had in my head. Peter is careful with his installations, clearly knows how to install and prep and is quick to get everything done and takes away all the mess when he leaves. I called Peter to give me an estimate on a shade for my kitchen window. Within a couple of days he came and in a couple of weeks, I had my shade! He was very personable and he helped me in determining what was going to be best for my window. It was a very painless process and I will use him again.

Peter is GREAT! He is fast , efficient, honest and very helpful when trying to determine what will work with your needs. His prices are very fair and he installs for free, which is a HUGE plus. The roller blinds are an excellent choice for large slider doors to get optimum viewing since they roll up with ease and are completely out of view until you need that shade or privacy, and they are very lightweight as well, which I love ! The Mirasol Shutters are very nice overall, but not the best workmanship wise. Peter was able to correct the companies issues with the shutters which I am very pleased with ,but for the price you pay for these shutters, he should not have to do the additional work to get them where they should be to begin with. Overall I am very happy with my blinds and shutters but I am mostly impressed with Peter himself and his excellent work ethic! Thank you Peter for a fantastic job!!

The guy that came is wonderful and he is a really nice young man. They have a lot of different types of molding around them to choose from and they were very informative on the pieces.

Contacted New View Blinds Shades and Shutters through Angie's list, and Peter not only contacted me the next day, but came out with his samples. Peter was very professional, and measured our openings, explained our options (and the pro's and con's of each.) He prepared a quote, which my wife and I discussed before Peter left, and we contracted with New View Blinds Shades and Shutters. Peter told us that due to the custom nature of the products we chose, it would be 7-10 days for installation. Less than a week later, Peter called and scheduled the installation for the next day. We are extremely happy with the quality of the blinds, and the excellence of the workmanship. Our room now that the feel and flow we were striving for. I highly recommend New View Blinds Shades and Shutters and have already called again to order blinds for other windows.

Came to the house and the designated day on time, measured out the windows, bought all the samples and gave us a great price (I had used Home Depot as a measuring stick). I contacted New View Blinds Shades and Shutters from Angie's List. Peter,the owner contacted me within a few hours. He scheduled a visit to my home for the following Saturday. He arrived promptly at the scheduled appointment ( He called ahead to confirm ). He looked at the window in our newly remodeled bathroom and provided a written quote on the spot for the exact Shutters we wanted. His pricing was very competitive. He informed us the shutters would have to be ordered, which we were expecting. He indicated it would be 3 weeks before they were ready. We agreed to talk again in 3 weeks. Well exactly. 3 weeks later, he called me on a Thursday and asked when I would like for him to come out and install. We agreed on the following Saturday at 12:00 noon he arrived and installed the shutters quickly and professionally. They are perfect, exactly what we ordered and look great. My wife is very pleased, which is a huge plus, I give him an A+ just for that. The last thing he did was ask us if there was anything he could do to improve. Short of giving them to us I don't know what I could advise him to do to improve. Peter did exactly as he promised, in the precise time frame he promised. Left a message and Peter called me back the same day. He came to the house to measure and gave us the options. He knew his business. We placed the order and it came in on time. He came and installed yesterday - they look beautiful! He was able to make a tweak that my husband requested. If we had known the price and installation was this good we would have done this a long time ago!

I called Peter the morning of March 12th, and he was able to come to my home that same afternoon. I showed him what old window treatments I wanted to replace, and he had no problem coming up with the solutions. I went all vertical blinds except in the bathroom, where it was a very narrow window. That window I chose faux wood slat blinds, as he suggested, so they wouldn't warp from the moisture a bathroom produces. He was exceptionally friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He was not pushy in the least. He showed me colors,and valances, which I was able to find a pattern that almost matched exactly, the other vertical blinds in my home. His selections were unbelievable. He measured everything for me, and we ordered the blinds. He called me the following week, and told me that my blinds have arrived, and he could install them on the 21st. I could hardly believe it. He came out on the 21st, and installed the blinds in no time. He cleaned up everything to where you wouldn't even know he was here, except for the beautiful window treatments he installed. He is very experienced, and fast. He even asked me which way I would like them to close. They look beautiful, and nothing is off level. He went above and beyond what he had to do, and I don't think I could thank him enough. I would HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Peter for any window treatments anyone would want. Absolutely exceptional! Wonderful, Peter arrived as scheduled and provided a quote. I contacted two other companies for quotes, bottom line, New View's price quote was $1,000 less than both other companies. He called when the shutters were ready and as I was having new windows put in, we had to wait to install the shutters. He was patient and understanding and even when the window company failed to complete all windows, Peter came out and installed what he could and had to come back weeks later to complete the installation. He was very accommodating even though the delay was no fault of New View. Highly recommend New View and the shutters are beautiful.
