It took only 5 business days from the day of measurement and selection to have 3 new beautiful modern window décor. The measurement and selection 30 minutes. Great communication to get the install time. Installation 45 minutes. Perfect and for a GREAT PRICE!

I contacted Peter in late May because of the outstanding reviews on Angie's list. I was interested in installing plantation shutters in my family room, dining room, loft and second bedroom. He was able to come to my home the next day to give me an estimate. He talked me through some of the options available - wand visibility, blind slat sizes, frames, etc. He then measured my windows. I have two very large windows (90" wide each) which look out on my lanai and the little pond in the back and I knew they would be expensive. I had, however, mentally made the commitment to do all the windows in the remainder of my home. Another company had done two smaller rooms three years ago, but I believed Peter's company would be better for this large job. Once I got the estimate, I chose to move forward and provided a deposit. Peter told me it would take three weeks for them to be manufactured. They actually came in earlier than that. When Peter called to schedule the installation, I told him I had an appointment the following day and would need to leave the house by Noon. He said that wouldn't be a problem and arrived about 8:45 and finished well before my departure - quite an accomplishment for one person installing six sets of plantation shutters by himself. They look SO beautiful and have totally changed the look and feel of my home. I love them! I would not hesitate to use Peter and his company again. He was professional, friendly, punctual and very easy to work with.

What a great experience! Peter was very responsive from our first call and arranged to come out very quickly to give us an estimate. We we had already gotten a price from another vendor and were convinced that we wanted cordless cellular blinds on our sliding glass door. Peter said, "I can do that, if you want, but keep in mind that it's going to be very high for you to reach." And he was right! We would have needed a step stool every time we wanted to pull them down! And the other vendor never even saw that or mentioned it. Thank goodness Peter's experience and professionalism led us in the right direction for what worked best for us. Peter showed us many varieties of what could work for us for both the sliding glass door and our kitchen windows. He never ever tried to pressure us for anything higher priced. It was all about what worked for us the best. He also looked at some of our other windows (our request) and gave us some great ideas for new blinds that we might do in the future. When we showed him that a cord had come loose on our living room verticals, he offered to fix that for us at no charge. After we placed the order, the custom blinds and verticals came in very quickly. Peter arranged a convenient time to install them and did so efficiently and very profesionally. And they look great! We couldn't be happier! It's such a pleasure to deal with a vendor like New View and we would use them again in a heartbeat.

I contacted New View after reading the reviews on Angie's List. Peter responded immediately with a date to come out. I have a two story home with a lot of windows and all of the shutters needed to be replaced. I thought the quoted price was quite reasonable. Peter measured each window himself, placed the order and the shutters arrived within 3 weeks as he promised. The install went quickly and smoothly. Overall, the experience was exceptional and I would definitely do business with them again.

Peter, the owner was great. He was very pleasant. I got estimates from 3 other shutter companies and he was the only one that was completely honest about how the pricing works on shutters, which are considered a "fixture". He explained exactly how the shutters would be installed and what to expect. We wanted expedited delivery (7 days) which was quoted an additional $90. The price was still better than the other estimates. To Peter's defense the factory was closed during the holiday weekend so it took 10 days. Peter waived the additional $90 expedited delivery fee because he is a man of his word. Peter came out and installed the shutters the day after he received them. The installation went smooth and quick. The shutters look great! I would definitely recommend New View and Peter. We will be using him in the future for other rooms in our house. Thanks Peter!

Peter is amazing!He arrived for a free consultation and knew right away what sized shutters would look best for the size of the windows. He measured them in no time at all and also measured 6 others that I would like done in the future. He is very polite and professional & now I know why he gets all the excellent reviews. He said the shutters would be ready in 3 weeks & 3 weeks to the day he installed them. It only took 1 hour and that included bringing them in, installation and clean up( he also had to cut down some of our existing molding to fit & did a beautiful job). Peter arrived on time to take measurements and provide an estimate. He brought the sample product so that I could see it as well as pictures of other jobs to review. The estimate was fair and I ordered the shutters. Three weeks to the day as promised i was contacted to arrange an install date. Again he arrived at the designated time, removed my old blinds and installed the shutters quickly and to my great satisfaction. When he was done he cleaned everything up and took away all the packaging the shutters had been packed in. The shutters look great! I would not hesitate to use his services again , and I would be quick to offer a referral to New View Blinds. I am highly satisfied and would definitely recommend this company.

I would have never believed it could make such a difference. I highly recommend New View. The product is top notch and Peter is friendly, knowledgable and very helpful. He gladly took down all my old blinds and window dressings as part of the service. The shutters make my house look brand new inside and gives it a FLORIDA look.
