They charged a lot of money to put in two screws in a dishwasher. I would never use them again.

They fixed the problem but I was not so happy about their service. On the follow-up call they got inside the dishwasher he said that the problem may not be covered by the warranty. He had not diagnosed the problem the first time so I ended up having to call Samsung to get authorization to have the new problem fixed. They ended up giving me the authorization number but it ended up being stressful. I was not happy because this could have been diagnosed on the first trip. He did not go to any length to correct the problem on his own. He also was not knowledgeable as to whether this would be covered under the warranty.
Description of Work: They came out to repair my dishwasher which was still under warranty.

The service was great. We thought we were going to have to buy a whole new stove, but they were able to fix it right up. It took about 3 visits with getting all the right parts and everything, but he did a great job with it. My wife and I are very happy with the outcome.
Description of Work: We had a power outage that seemed to ruin our stove. Mr. Appliance came out and were able to fix it.

The area around the fridge looked better than when he started! The price of the repairs was a little on the high side but it was more than offset by the quality of the service experience. It is refreshing to have a service experience that exceeds expectations.
Description of Work: I called Mr Appliance at 1pm today because our refrigerator / freezer was not cooling. The representative promised to have a repairman here between 3 & 5, he came early and the job was complete before 3:30. He was professional in every sense: He was clean, he showed us the problem with the circuit board, have me an estimate on the spot, fixed the issue and cleaned up around.

When I called, phone message states techs do not park on driveway and if they are running late, they always give a courtesty call.. My tech , Bob, parked on my driveway. Expectation of time for tech to arrive was set during initial phone call with Jim. I repeated back to Jim, that tech would be coming at 2. I called at 2:30 and lady answered the phone and again stated courtesty call are made if tech would be late., She transfered call to Jim who stated he would be there after 2:, it was now 2:30, stated he would try to get a tighter time frame. Received a call from Bob approx 4 said he was on his way, He came at approx 4:20. He asked me three times if the problem was I couldn't get the washer door open. Three times I said, that is not the problem, I can get the door open. I found his demeanor in general to be patronizing.
Description of Work: called for estimate to repair washer. Tech (Bob) stated cost of 600-700 and advised to get new washer. I decided to get new washer, no repairs requested

Member, Sorry for the confusion on the window of time given. One of our later time frames is an after 2:00 with call ahead. I will follow up with the technician for review. We do strive to insure our customers have a positive experience with our company. Our office will issue a full refund for the service charge paid. Sorry both of our expectations were not met.

.The tech was punctual . He new his business.
Description of Work: The technician arrived earlier than the 12:00 to 3:00 window. He looked at the refrigerator and freezer and quickly diagnosed the problem. He was able to get Samsung to cover the repairs needed covered by warranty, but was unsuccessful. The ice maker was fixed successfully.

I called describing our problem at 8:30 a.m. and by 12:15 p.m. the technician arrived at our front door. He quickly saw the source of the problem went to his truck and brought back a part to replace the rusted one. The new part, he pointed out, was made from rust-proof material, an advancement the manufacturer implemented only after other owners of the same refrigerator reported the same problem. The price certainly was not cheap, but I was told the cost upfront, and the work was efficient and competently performed. I figured you get what you pay for. Jim also told me the coupon would apply before I asked about it. Other service providers I have used with coupon offers did not mention the coupon until I did, hoping I would forget it.
Description of Work: The area where the water and ice cube dispenser and the ice cube maker would frost up, sometimes so much that the freezer door would almost stick shut. The technician immediately diagnosed and fixed the problem.

Repairman had to take machine apart due to a bolt that was unreachable. Interesting experience seeing the inner workings of the dryer. Repairman very patient and personable, taking the time to explain how the darn thing worked.

He didn’t charge us for the visit but we were pleased with him. He said if anything happens, to give him a call. He came over and the refrigerator was working at the time and he didn’t even charge us for the trip. We will call him back if it quits working again. He was there on time. We think he got held up in traffic but that was okay because he was here by 5 o’clock. He was very professional. We will use him again in the future if we need to.
Description of Work: We used Mr Appliance of Tampa. He came over probably two or three weeks ago and our refrigerator was running. He couldn’t do anything because it was running.

It went well. However the door no longer closes on its own. Mr Appliance was efficient, as timely as possible considering the holiday, and professional. We had a coupon which considerably (over half) reduced the cost of the service call(s) and repair.
Description of Work: The refrigerator bottom door hinge broke two days before Thanksgiving day. The door had to be opened and closed by 2 people to insure it stayed closed using one hinge. We called Mr. Appliance who was not able to come to the house until the day after Thanksgiving. A new hinge was installed after the technician returned to Mr Appliance for the part, then returned to our home.

The serviceman was polite, arrived right on time, wore covers on his shoes and spent two hours initially diagnosing the problem. He had to order a part and the company called me four days later to say the part was in. We made an early morning appt and he was on time and spent another two hours taking the refrigerator apart and installng the new part. The initial visit was included in the overall price. He even helped me put all the shelves back in and it runs great!!
Description of Work: My refrigerator was warm. I called Mr. Applicance and they came out diagnosed the problem and returned replaced the heating assembly and sensor.

The technician arrived during the expected time frame. He was very courteous and professional. The repairs were performed to my satisfactions.

I called with a dishwasher that wouldn't turn on. Bob/Bill/Repairman showed about 3:30 (was told after 2 so he was in the window) and promptly took the packet of dish detergent out from under the float. That is all that was wrong. I goofed - severely. However, I got a lecture on not to use the packets, I am using too much Lemi Shine, I need to go buy more Jet Shine (not sure why since I have extra under the counter) and how phospates are not longer being used in dish washing detergent. Also he tested my hot water and told me mine wasn't hot enough and I should let the faucet run before I start the dishwasher to get the water hot. Wonder if he ever heard of water conservation? He was totally snarky and nasty and truly made me feel like an idiot. Now I'll go turn up my hot water heater...

The technician (Rob) showed up at 10:28. He spent 45 minutes trying to solve the problem, when he was uncomfortable with the recommended repair he contacted Whirlpool repair support and spent another 30 minutes on the phone with them before determinating that he was getting a false code. He ordered the proper replacement part (essentially the washer's brain). The repair service did not have the part in stock at the time and ordered the part planning on returning Monday Feb 21. Approximately 21:30 I received an email from them saying that they had obtained a part and would be there to complete the repairs Thursday Feb 17 between 13:00 and 17:00. The technician (Rob) returned 13:30 with the repair part completing the work in 30 minutes
Description of Work: Whirlpool Cabrio HE washer 3 yrs old with a H2 (sticky control panel key) code displayed would not operate. Called Mr Appliance late afternoon Feb 15 they said they could have a technician there between 09:00 and 11:00 on Feb 16.

The company was very easy to deal with. The tech was very good. The office also called after the tech left to make sure all was ok. My wife and I were very satisfied.
Description of Work: Being new to the area we did not know who to call when the washer leaked all over. Our new neighbor recommended a company called Mr. Appliance of Hillsborough County. The service was not only quick but the level of care taken by the office and technician far exceeded my expectations.
