Six months with Morgan Horticultural service now. Excellent all around. We have the full suite of yard/shrub treatments, perimeter pest, mosquito control, and weed spraying. Yard looks great. Very happy. Rick W

We chose Morgan's several years ago from their rating on Angie's list. We elected to have them treat our lawn and shrubs and were assured our lawn would look and remain exceptional. For the first two years, we were very satisfied with their service as our lawn looked as good or better than those surrounding our property. There were a few times we had to have them come back for minor issues, but overall it was great. It was in the middle of last year that we returned from a vacation to find our front lawn dying in spots. The "treatment" sign left in our yard indicated they had serviced our yard two days earlier than our return. I had them come out right away to look at it and was told by Sam Morgan that it was not related to insects and said it would improve over the next several weeks. Two weeks went by and the areas of dead grass had expanded exponentially. Coincidentally, a lawn care company had left a notice on our door offering to treat the chinch bugs killing our grass. We were also noticing mole crickets on our patio. I called them back out and Sam Morgan again tried to defect telling me there was no insect activity, yet did a thorough pesticide spray. During our dialogue, Sam kept blaming his son Brad for using a new chemical that was reported to be causing issues with other customers. He actually told me that I would get a better outcome if I called and spoke to Brad myself. I told Sam that it was not my job to get in the middle of family politics and that I expected it to be taken care of immediately. I told Sam that I would not be renewing my contract unless they restored my yard to its original condition. As weeks and months dragged on, I had them out two to three more times as my yard was not improving. I heard the same lame excuses from Sam and put him on notice that we were not planning on renewing our service for 2018. I also showed them areas of my shrubbery that had chemical damage. I was again told it was a new spray they were using and deflected to his son Brad. I received a bill from Brad Morgan for a treatment in January of this year. I sent them a reply that I would not be paying for this treatment as I told them I was not renewing for this year. Conclusion: Brad Morgan and those who work for him do not take responsibility for issues and deflect by blaming issues on ancillary things. Brad had never taken the time to visit my residence to see for himself what my concerns were and tried to blame the damage to my front yard on pool construction in my back yard. I am appalled at their business strategy of deflection and would never recommend them to my neighbors.

It did niot go well, they gave a tiny squirt of solution in the yard while i was watching and then they took off. Everything looked terrible.

Could not tell any difference in weeds until I called and complained and then the owner came out and some of the weeds started to die. Before and after that visit there was never any evidence that they had even treated my lawn.

Great-very responsive. These guys have been treating our lawn for 4+ years and I will say this is a top notch service level company. Monthly service is great and when we we need some special weed treatment....they move quickly. Lawn looks great-great company to do biz with!

The lawn looks fairly healthy given the natural obstacles (e.g., lots of oak tree roots, and less than ideal soil) thanks to their efforts. We receive a description of the lawn's health each month, including whether and when we should water. They are dependable, thorough, and fairly priced. We recommend the company highly.

Owner's Sam and brad (father and son respectively) have been caring for our lawn and trees for 2+ years, I guessed at the date of our contracted services with them (sorry Brad! just can't remember the exact date you started taking care of our lawn). We chose Morgan's because it was a family owned company and after meeting Brad felt very comfortable with him and found him to be very knowledgeable. We had gone through three lawn service companies, our lawn was full of weeds, our trees were in poor shape and one actually died from the lack of care they received from Plan-it Earth!! Morgan's has been great and we could not be more pleased with their care of our lawn and trees. Brad helped us with choosing new trees by providing us with information and suggestions, which were perfect for what we wanted. Brad was also does landscaping and got us a great deal on the palms we wanted, he delivered them and guided us through the planting process; the palms are thriving! Brad also helps us with our sprinkler system; he even programmed it for me because I didn't know how it worked at all! So nice and always smiling. His technicians are always pleasant and professional. Brad always answers our calls and he personally comes out when we have concerns!!! That in itself is what makes his company A++ to us. Morgan's cares about their customers and take pride in their work. We get compliments all the time on how beautiful our lawn looks and we recommend Morgan's to all our neighbors and anyone who is looking for a great lawn care company.

I spent 40 minutes, between 4pm and 5pm, calling various providers (all A rated) searching for someone that could come to my house tonight. I called 12 before Morgan's. Many didn't answer, some would not come out on short notice, and others quoted me $100+. This company was very different. The owner/father answered the call, agreed to come out tonight, and quoted me an excellent, superbly reasonable price! The son came out, provided a thorough and detailed analysis of our problem, and serviced the house. I love dealing with family owned companies and Morgan's exemplified precisely why. It takes a lot for me to write a review, but Morgan's made it so easy. Don't spend time calling anyone else.

The service has been okay. We do still have weeds in our yard and we need to have them come back out.

It took me 19 years in my house to get the lawn I always wanted. I started using Morgan's almost two years ago after I'd had some sod put in that got fungus immediately. (I'd had several other lawn care companies over the years.) Morgan's got rid of the fungus and then worked with us to get all parts of our lawn healthy. We had always had some bare spots and thin spots that I tried plugging every year, but could not quite get a uniform, even, healthy lawn. But Morgan's finally got us there, and have kept us there quite awhile now. I was paying $45/month, and I recently added on $15/month to fertilize my other landscaping, and I can see a difference already. They are always available to provide advice and consultation - Sam Morgan knows his stuff! Nice guys to work with.

Dependable, knowledgeable and reasonable price.

I hired Morgan approx 2 years ago upon recommendation of a landscape designer and Angies list ratings. After about 6 months about 1/3 of my newly sodded (just before I hired Morgan) 15000 sq ft lawn was in really bad condition. Morgan said it was the wrong kind of grass for conditions, and charged me about $1,000 to re-sod it again. Since then the lawn has survived in most areas, although continually plagued with weeds and brown spots, some of which have wiped out the grass in a few areas (like 10 sq ft patches). This despite repeated complaints, to which they always gave some excuse like it was too hot to weed kill, or the trash can traffic ( we go there about 3 times a week) was killing the grass. And other areas of the grass look just unhealthy . I've asked Sam Morgan, the owner, several times recently to come out, take a look and let's talk about it. He's a very pleasant gentleman, keeps agreeing to come out, but hasn't shown up. So I've (belatedly, perhaps) terminated the service.

Repaired sprinkler system. Excellent work. I have used Morgan's for many years. Recommend without reservation.

I purchased the $99 deal for lawn fertilization and weed control with complimentary sprinkler inspection. They came out 3 times to spray my lawn. I don't know if they did a sprinkler inspection because there were no notes that they did. I know some of my sprinkler heads are not in good shape, so I am guessing they did not do the inspection. My lawn has a ton of weeds, so it was no surprise that after the 3rd treatment, I did not notice any change. Perhaps if I used their services longer, there may have been an improvement.

After years of looking to find a company that would do a good job, we finally found Morgan Horticultural Services. The lawn has never looked so good. The service is excellent, any time we called they responded very quickly. These are great people.

They are wonderful. They were referred to me. They are very attentive. They are located quite a ways from me but if I find something, they are right out here. It is a father and son. They use the best products. Their pricing is very good. I have a huge yard and a lot of shrubs.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went well. We had them come out 3 different times.

I have the greenest and best lawn in the neighborhood.

We purchased empire zoysia grass about a year ago and hired Morgan's Horticultural to maintain it. After trying numerous other companies we decided to sign up on Angie's List and after careful research selected Morgan's. Great investment! Sam Morgan and his staff was extremely professional, helpful and provided me with excellent service! I was home during their first treatment and was able to observe their work and was extremely impressed. They were very thorough, knowledgeable and courteous. In addition to that they treat your yard EVERY MONTH were other companies would come every other month. In my opinion, Florida grass requires monthly treatment especially during the summer. KUDOS to Mr. Morgan and his staff for doing an outstanding job...keep up the good work! Keaton Family
