worst subcontractor we've ever worked with.

We called them to remove an old metal firebox from our fireplace and rebuild it with brick and then extend the chimney with brick. They came and looked at the job and told us they would email us an estimate. We called them several times the next week and got nothing but lame excuses as to why they hadn't sent us our estimate. We finally gave up. I don't have patience with these companies that don't return calls or show up or otherwise do what they say. If they don't want the job or can't do the job, they should just say so and recommend someone who can. I think maybe they specialize in gas/propane type work and not masonry. We used Kugel Fireplaces for the repair and we're very happy. Mr. Kugel is a master craftsman and does beautiful work.

He was very fast and efficient. He came in and fixed it and cleaned up after himself. He opened up my fire place and vacuumed it all and also did some stuff that I didn’t expect him to do. He then put it all back together again and it is working great. I have no complains against him.
