Maid Brigade of Tampa Bay

I was extremely disappointed in the service l received from Maid Brigade in Tampa FL . I strongly encourage you to choose a different company. First let me say the 2 woman who came to clean my house seemed to be nice enough people. Unfortunately the one woman could not, speak, understand or read English so the list l created was useless to her and she seemed to need constant direction. So the one woman spent a lot of her time directing the other woman & translating my list and instructions . I had specifically asked to pay them by the hour so they would not be in a rush, in hopes that they would take their time to do a more thorough job. I agreed to pay them EACH $50 an hour for a minimum of 2 hours, at that rate l certainly had expected they would have been formally trained on the do's & don"ts of proper cleaning and would be equally qualified. So of course I was shocked to see them shaking my bathroom area rugs right over my toothbrush, make up & towels. Long story short my house was no cleaner when they left than when they arrived. Worst of all my sliding glass doors were actually even worse than when they arrived and I needed to replace our toothbrushes and all my makeup. When l tried to contact the office to discuss my dissatisfaction, they never returned my phone call but they did charge my card and obviously have no interest in improving my experience or creating a positive experience for any other customers. They simply don't care about their customers.

They are great, they've done a very clean job, very careful with the materials that they are using and the staffs are very nice and respectful.

The cleaning was okay, but they didn't speak English, or at least that's what they both told me when I tried to address them. I left and when we returned my strictly indoor cat was missing. We got that cat for my daughter as a reward for having straight A's on her report card, she's heartbroken. If the maids spoke English I could have explained to them my concerns and about our pets. When I called to let the owner know, I had to speak to a manager who laughed the situation off. I told her they need to send at least one English speaking cleaner to their jobs. She told me that "bilingual people don't want to work". She then went on about how she's worked there 8 years and only missed 5 days. She said " bilingual people don't want to do the work the Spanish people do". She said "you wouldn't believe the disgusting and filthy houses they have to clean, bilingual people won't do those jobs". I couldn't believe she was saying these things to a client. Completely mindless of how insulting she was being. Don't use this company, I will never again, not only because of our cat but the ignorance of this manager. I would have rated them higher than an F for the cleaning, but based one what happened there is no way now.

I cancelled the service and I'm very disappointed because the ladies who came to the house were very thorough and fast. I think 3 chances in 4 months is enough. Professionalism on behalf of the management is lacking. If your crew is running 20+ minutes late, call the customer ahead of time. If my company missed 2+ appointments, I would make sure we were on time for the 3rd, if I had to clean the house myself. Maid Brigade can't honor its appointments in a timely manner.

I first hired Maid Brigade over a year ago to do a “deep cleaning” of my house before I had out-of-town guests coming to stay. They were able to provide a very reasonable estimate for the service, and to come on short notice. They did an excellent job, and I decided to hire them to clean our house every other week. They always do a great job and I like they don’t use harsh chemical products. They come the same weekday every two weeks, and send a reminder text the day before my appointment with an estimated time of arrival, which is a very convenient service. Although I’m usually not home when they are cleaning, on the occasions that I have been there they are extremely professional, courteous and efficient. The customer service on the phone is also professional and courteous.

We left a review earlier this year on them, and they dropped their price for us! I would like to see them ask for any additional cleaning I may need done at the time. This is not a complaint; it is just something nice they could do. We have used their service about 9 years every other week. They have a specific day and timeframe to do the work. Lately, we have seen more consistency with the workers that come out. They recently started texting me about showing up, which is nice. They are also flexible with rescheduling too. The little extras on top of the cleaning would be nice to add that extra “wow” factor.

They did a very good job, however, they were a little bit expensive. I had no other complaints with the service, I thought the quality of the work was excellent. They arrived on time for the appointment and were professional.

I used their services a few times. I was looking for more of a deep clean then a general cleaning. One thing I did not like was how by the book they were. I wanted my patio cleaned and they said they would have to call and get a quote from their manager before they could clean the patio.

They arrived on time and completed their work in a timely manner. (I was home during the cleaning).

We have been using them for nearly 9 years. They have consistent scheduling, and we have enjoyed working with several of the maids that worked in our house. However, there is a high turnover rate amongst the maids which can be frustrating when we find a good crew. However, it is nice to know that the employees are bonded and insured.

They are reliable, but I don't feel as though they do a thorough job. They basically do a surface cleaning and that's it. Once, we were at home during their work, and we were surprised to learn that they only worked for about an hour.

I used Angie's List to find a service close to my due date when the nesting urges kicked in. Grace was WONDERFUL! She was so kind on the phone and even sent me a beautiful card after my son was born. She has been flexible when I forgot we switched to mornings and was not prepared for the cleaning. She rescheduled my home to be cleaned later in the day. This is the type of service you never expect to get and are always surprised when you do. The ladies always do a great job and are willing to focus on areas I ask. The one drawback is the time. They give you text message alerts to remind you of your cleaning but do not let you know what time they will be arriving. If that is the only drawback, I will never leave this group!

I am very upset with the service that was performed . I called and did not fell the company was very concerned with the poor service I recieved . All she wanted to do was send the same women back to my house. If I have to go back and clean after them , that defeats the purpose. I have eight rooms that needed to be done and there is no way they could do the work in only 1 hour! My floors were vacuumed but the tile was dirty and the hardwood floors were not wiped down. The bathroom was wiped over like you would have at a motel. I pulled back the mat in the tub and it was filthy. Four days after the toliets were clean I had pink slime in them. My daughter said that the ladies dusted around things but never dusted anything else. I tried to communicate with the women, myself but they could not speak English. I will never use this service again, and I will tell all my friends not to.

They are great but sometimes you have to be a little detail oriented with them. They do tend to scratch the walls that I've noticed that I will be speaking with them about.

They have been cleaning our home for several weeks now, and after the initial deep clean, they have done a great job of maintaining our home. When we have had an issue with their servcie, or feel they have overlooked a certain area or particular piece, they have come back out and addressed our concerns in a timely manner. Maid Brigade does a great job, and communicates very well.

There was a mistake as to the date and when i explained my need (mother coming to town to visit later that day) they sent 2 teams to my place and got everything done in record time. I was impressed and keep using them and most of all my mother was pleased for the first time in ears at what (how clean) my place was.

I have hired Maid Brigade of Tampa Bay for weekly house cleaning. I like that they use all their own products including their own vacuum. They don't use even a single towel paper of mine. They just do a very good job. They are very thorough. There are two of them. They come in uniforms. They work from start to finish. I would continue using them in the future too.

My wife and I have new twins and cleaning was just something we don't have time for anymore. Maid Brigade does a great job and does what we don't have time for anymore! Maid Brigade will perform a normal housecleaning and fulfill most any special request. The cleaning ladies have always been very courteous. They arrive in a marked car and use professional grade equipment. I wish the price were cheaper, but I feel like I get what I pay for.

When they leave, my house is spotless. They are competitively priced. I have used other companies but Maid Brigade did a better job. They charged me less than any other service I have had.

When I finally received a phone call back from them today they informed they do a deep clean, which is fine, but I asked about organization as well. I am a disabled vet and I'm not able to do the things I use to do. The housecleaning service put me on hold and was going to provide an alternate phone number to me for organization then the line went dead. She hung up. I'm guessing it was not an accident as she didn't choose to call me back so I guess I take that as no for an answer. She'd confirmed she actually did have my email information so she knew clearly how to reach me. I guess they can pick and choose.

They do a pretty good job I am pretty picky. I f something isn’t satisfactory, I give them my comments and they correct it the next week.
