I've been a customer for 17 years. Always great service. Timely, professional. You know it's a good company when the guy who comes to service your unit has been there for 12 years and knows every little nuance of your air handler and a/c unit. That is why I continue to use them. And the person that returns your phone call is either Macy or Jackson. Great family business and happy to be a long term customer.

I had used this company in the past for maintenance issues and was happy with their work. I elected to hire them to replace my old system and was very impressed with their work.

Outside unit (compressor) stopped working overnight. I contacted Macy-Jackson, who installed the system several years ago, Saturday at 7:40 AM. Charles came at 9:30 AM, diagnosed it, went to get a part & had it running again before 10:30.

The service was an A grade.

Macy Jackson has been taking care of my A/C system for 15 years. Charles and his team are practical, thoughtful, and responsive. I currently rent my townhome. Came to town to check on the property. Found that the A/C wasn't working properly. I emailed Macy Jackson at 11 PM on Thursday and Charles had his service technicians Josh and Fred here before 12 Noon on Friday. They promptly diagnosed the problem and fixed it before 1 PM. Fantastic service. Thank you!

I recently had my condo air conditioning system cooling poorly, start making noise and quit working. I called Macy Jackson Air Systems, the A/C company I have used and trusted for years. Though it had been a couple years since I needed AC work, Ken Macy remembered me when I called & came out and assessed the problem but could not repair it right away but could get it working temporarily until a part could be replaced. Ken's business partner Charles Jackson returned with his son, who also works in the company, and replaced the leaking drier, evacuated the system and recharged the unit with refrigerant. They also made sure the unit was working properly before leaving. Macy-Jackson Air always lets you know what work is necessary and what can wait, outlines options, makes recommendations and gives estimates without a big sales presentation and with respect for your decisions. Ken, Charles and other Macy Jackson associates are very honest with an emphasis on quality work and service rather than running up a bill like some other companies. They deliver real, good old-fashion customer service. I highly recommend them. Ken and his professional and skilled associates repaired, serviced and replaced air conditioning and heat pump units at our offices for years and also repaired and/or installed units in my home and the homes of friends and co-workers. They always perform fast thorough assessments of systems and problems and explain what is wrong and what is needed now and what may be later. Recommendations are always honest and straightforward without a bunch of sales pressure or attempts to sell you things you don’t need. When equipment has needed to be replaced, options are outlined and estimates are straightforward, fair and complete. Though other companies might give slightly lower quotes, I learned the hard way that it’s better to stick with Macy Jackson Air and get quality equipment that is installed correctly, serviced properly and, when needed, repaired efficiently and honestly.

I have a service agreement with them. When ever I have called with a problem, they work things out with all the other work they have to do and they respond almost immediately to get somebody out within 24 hours, but sometimes they have came the exact same day within a couple hours.

They are very honest and have never let us down. Their prices are also way better than what we paid to other companies that were not trustworthy.

Called to get service, had to leave message on phone, but called back and came out same day. Spent 15-30 minutes apparently cleaning out condensate pump. Did not leave invoice, said to call office to pay in morning. Called but no answer so sent a check. Leak continued, so called back left numerous messages next three days, never got a call back (even when I left message to pay). Had to get another a/c company to come try to try to fix for another $100 or so estimate, they said it appeared no service had been done. Terrible communications.

This company performed a difficult installation of 2 new units painlessly. The crew is unfailingly courteous. They were punctual. The installation of the second unit occurred during a day of perpetual rain, which was probably a blessing since the air handler had to be installed in a second story attic that would have been really hot otherwise. They just set up a tent outside and continued with the outdoor part of the installation. They cleaned up beautifully and I could not have been more pleased with the entire experience. I would recommend Macy Jackson without reservation.

Very pleased. We were out of town, our house sitter noticed the main zone was not cooling properly (the other 2 zones were cooling just fine). I contacted Ken Macy early Saturday morning of the July 4 weekend and he was at the house by early afternoon. He thoroughly tested all 3 zones, tested the A/C unit including refrigerant level and drain, and discussed the symptoms with our house sitter and called me to summarize. He found no problem and the system has functioned fine since then. I am very pleased that Ken came out not only on a Saturday but on a holiday weekend when the company as a whole was not working. Add'l info: Macy Jackson installed our A/C system, replacing an existing system with new cooling, heating and zone control system (3 zones) in early 2013. Ken headed up that work. He also came out last year to diagnosis and fix a problem with the outside unit (ants had gotten into a relay and shorted it out - replaced under warranty). We have been pleased with the new system and follow-up service.

Text book wonderful. My a/c went out Thursday around 8:00 AM. I called Macy Jackson and they responded with a big service van and two technicians arriving at 1:00 PM. After a complete diagnostic eval, I was presented with the problem and options for resolution. Due to age and the cost of the required new compressor, the obvious choice was to replace it all. Here is where the service gets stellar. I accepted their recommendation at 2:00 PM. I did not want to go the weekend without a/c and I had a houseful of company arriving Monday. With some scheduling magic, they agreed to a Friday install. I am always leery about rush jobs or jobs with time constraints, but I had no need for concern here. They arrived Friday morning on time and with all the new equipment to be installed. They had all the necessary tools and equipment to undertake and finish the job without interruption. By 4:00 PM, the complete replacement was done, the old equipment was loaded on their truck for disposal and you could not tell anyone had been there. They even swept my garage out. Better yet, my house was cooling properly (fan speed, humidity, silent operation.) Flawless service and attention to detail, So far, not one loose screw or nut, no rattles, and no vibrations have developed. As a bonus, they even submitted my new equipment verification to TECO power company for the discount. What a first class experience!

I initially worked with Ken Macy, one of the owners, for evaluating my HVAC system replacement needs. He took the time to discuss and assess my current situation and explain the various options. From his proposed options, I decided to go with his recommended and quot;best bang for the buckand quot; HVAC configuration. I met with Charles Jackson, the other owner, and his son for a pre-installation check mainly to assess and prepare for the actual install. Both presented themselves as extremely professional and knowledgeable. On the day of the install, Charles arrived on time with his son and crew. With the exception of an unforeseen issue with a special heating component called an Aquacoil, the installation was smooth; since it was summer time, not having the Aquacoil immediately fully functional was a minor issue. They returned a couple days later to install the special part required for the Aquacoil that is compatible with my new air handler. After a few days, I did notice condensation issues that appeared to be stemming from the new Aquacoil unit. Ken Macy did come out to troubleshoot and tried resolving but the condensation issue did persist. Charles then contacted the Aquacoil company for finding a resolution to this issue. They eventually returned to apply a recommended fix. So far so good. My overall experience with Macy Jackson was very positive. I highly recommend them to anyone who is in the market for a new HVAC system or needs HVAC repair or maintenance. Given that not too many HVAC companies are familiar with Aquacoil heating unit, my confidence level with Macy Jackson is still extremely high; they were relentless in resolving the issue that I described above. This is customer service at its' best. btw, my electric bill was 40% less than last years so far even though my old HVAC system was part of the billing cycle. I'm looking forward to see how much my next electric bill will be with my new HVAC system part of the entire billing cycle. Thank you Macy Jackson!

They performed the repair and the routine maintenance and bill was less then $150 on a holiday!! I love this company, have used them for years and they are honest, do quality work and they stand by their work as well. They installed our unit six years ago and it has been a quality unit and has required only minor maintenance. I would never call anyone else for my A/C services.

Overall,it went exceptionally well. I feel certain that I can count on this company to perform quality work at a reasonable price.

The crew arrived on time, put down tarp to cover our carpeted floors, removed and replaced the ceiling stairs to the attic, removed all the old equipment and installed the new equipment clean and right. After a couple of days I noticed the thermostat had intermittent problem of no display. Crew arrived soon and found an issue with the air handler door sensor and fixed it. Great job, done very well. System runs terrific, saves a bunch off my electirc bill and now the house stays cool (or warm for the winter) so much better we enjoy living here again.

We never had any problems with them and they have always done a good job for us.

They found a problem and they were able to fix it. They are very conscientious and their follow up was excellent. I was very impressed with their customer service. They were interested and very helpful. They were committed to doing what it took to get my air conditioner running as good as new.

THIS IS A VERY GOOD COMPANY. WE MET THEM WHEN THEY REPLACED THE FURNACE AND A/C IN A HOUSE WE WERE RENTING AND WE USED THEM IN OUR NEW HOUSE TO TAKE CARE OF VARIOUS SMALL JOBS. THEY ARE PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL, VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. THEY REALLY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND DO NOT RECOMMEND WORK YOU DON'T NEED DONE. THEIR PRICE IS A LITTLE HIGH, BUT WORTH IT.
