It couldn't have gone better. They were punctual, professional, exacting in their work, and extremely accommodating. The painter was an absolute perfectionist, and as a result my house looks brand-new. We could not be happier with the work and will recommend this company to everyone and anyone we know that needs paint work done. They were exceedingly easy to work with and couldn't have been nicer.

Lou Phillips't team was great. They helped us pick out colors and did not try to collect until we were 100% satisfied with the job. I would highly recommend this company to anyone that needs painting.

The crew from Lou Phillips Painting painted my house over a period of 2 days and did a great job. Their customer service representative met with me the week before to go over the final details of the job and to set an exact start date. The painting crew arrived at the scheduled time on the scheduled date and worked straight through until the job was complete. The crew was neat and careful to remove all of their trash. The representative then followed up with me to make sure that I was satisfied with their work. Working with Lou Phillips was a very good experience.

My experience with Lou couldn't have gone any better. I called him on Friday, and he came on Monday to give a quote (the quote included paint). I agreed to the quote, and his guys came the next day and did the work. I usually do all the painting in my house myself, but I have been too busy and the ceilings were too high for me in one area. I am very particular, and I couldn't find one issue. His guys cut in around the trim and ceiling really well and the walls were done perfectly. Lou called me afterward to ensure I was happy with the results. They also left the excess paint so that I could use in the future if needed. Again, just a really good experience with a professional company. I will definitely use Lou again.

Perfect. Lou responded very quickly to my call, followed by a call from Austin. He came out and surveyed the house. Next dat Gerry and frank arrived. Perfect gentlemen. Power washed the house and then returned the next day to prep and start painting. They were interrupted by rain but we're back again bright and early the next morning and finished the job. EXCELLENT wor. The house looks great. The guys were awesome and I'd highly recommend them

The team showed up on time, the leader introduced himself and we reviewed work to be done. They worked all day and cleaned up after themselves. The new paint looks great! We'll use Lou Phillips Painting again.

After I got HOA approval I called Lou and found out I was already on his list. He told me Austin would be calling to set a time to come get the paint colors. That Saturday Austin called and apologized for calling on a Saturday but he had an opening for Monday. I was thrilled. He told me that Frank would come Monday around 8:00 and would start that day. Frank and crew arrived promptly and walked the house, got the paint colors, and told us what to expect. Lou had told me they would have to probably cut four screen panels in my "cage" for safety and that I would be responsible for replacing them but he had a company he could contact for me. Frank was able to save me a little money by just cutting two screens. He and his crew took great pride in their work. Frank told me that Lou had called the screen people and they would be out that day or the next. As Frank and crew were leaving, Austin came to check the job and make sure it went well. Screen people did not show but Lou followed up and got them out here. We were very pleased with the quality of the workmanship.

Lou personally came out to do the estimate and was extremely professional and I could tell right away that if the price was right I was going to use him. After obtaining several quotes Lou was willing to be flexible with me and we arrived at an extremely fair final price for the job. The guys who came out to paint were friendly and knowledgeable and got the job done quickly and efficiently. Came back out and did some touching up as needed at the drop of a hat. I will absolutely use them for all my future painting needs, and I highly recommend everyone else do the same!

Very professional and diligent. Showed up early and stayed late to get the job done in 3-1/2 days.. Went home "early" the first night only because of rain. Always tidy and picked up all debris every day. Obviously they take pride in their work - it shows. Our house looks beautiful and we have already recommended them to a friend. Some touch-up was required for overspray on the garage - we didn't see it on the walk-through when they were finished. They came out the day after we contacted them about it and made it look perfect. Nothing but great things to say about Lou Phillips Painting, from our first contact with Lou for the estimate, then with Austin, who did the preliminary walk-through with us and got the paint colors, to the two-man team of Brian & Carlos, who did all the prep and painting. A very professional organization and we're so happy we found them!

Lou Phiilips inspected house day after contacting him and provided an estimate next day. Said would crew work on house within three weeks, which was done. Supervisor Austin went twice to paint store to bring paint samples for us to select for trim coloring (a yellow)., which was displayed on small area of the house (later painted over) . Painters Frank and Tim did an excellent job on power wash and painting, which was completed in two days.

The painting crew arrived on schedule, and completed the work in 2 half-days and 2 full days. They kept the property neat and cleaned up at the end of each day. We completed a walk through at the end of the work day and a few very minor over-sprays were found and they were corrected immediately. They were very proactive in ensuring that we were completely satisfied with their work . We could not have been more pleased with the job.

The company owner did what he said he was going to do and he completed the work on schedule. He was agreeable to making changes to the project before it began and he came back promptly to fix a minor problem. The supervisor was polite and accessible when I called to discuss the project. The painter was experienced and professional in his work method and his work was neat. I would recommend this company to my friends and family. A job well done.

Very professional from first visit for estimate to the very end. Had to wait a few weeks due to a backed up schedule, but worth the wait. You certainly get what you pay for, and in this instance, you get even better. Their price was very competitive. Wish I had used them last year when I had the interior of my house done-did not know about them then.

I am a DIY'er and hate to hire a professional unless absolutely necessary. Painting the exterior of my house is something I had no desire to do so I did some research on Angie's List and had two painting contractors stop by to provide estimates. I rely heavily on first impressions and online reviews as I consider myself fairly picky and want the job done right the first time. Both contractors provided estimates that were almost identical in price. I chose Lou Phillips painting because Austen (Project Mgr) was professional, responsive and easy to work with. Otis, the lead painter, showed up on a Saturday and pressure washed and trenched around the perimeter of the house. A crew of 3 guys showed back up on Monday as scheduled and started priming and painting. Same thing on Tuesday and by Tuesday afternoon the job was completely finished. I did a walk around with Otis on Tuesday and the next morning Austen came by and we did a second walk around to make sure everything was to my liking. Everything turned out exactly like I'd hoped. The crew was conscientious, worked quickly and did a nice job. Overall, I'm pleased and would recommend them.

Lou Phillips said he'd never worked on a home such as ours but was willing to evaluate. Austin visited, measured and took photos. A paint store rep was scheduled to determine the appropriate product to use. Once determined, Lou quoted a price (higher than I ended up paying) with the assurance that if the work could be done in less time than anticipated, he would reduce the cost. Otis, Shawn, and John did the prep work which included removing a few heavy furniture items from the porch, spraying for mold and pressure washing. Taping of windows was delayed a day due to rain and the need for the wood to thoroughly dry after pressure washing. Upon returning, Tony joined the group and they began covering areas to protect. The house has 3 French doors, a large screened porch, and numerous windows above a stone base. It was a lot of work to cover and was completed around 2:30. Rather than start staining and not get much completed before the end of the day, the crew decided to start fresh the following day. For 2 full days the crew sprayed, did trim by hand, and removed most of the plastic to complete the work. Due to the porch floor being wet with stain, paper over screens were left for an additional 2 days. Austin said he would remove and get furniture back on the porch but I was able to do myself with the help of a relative. I wasn't, however, able to figure out how to reattach the canned lights trim kit. Austin returned to perform that task. I'd also discovered a place on the screen framework where plastic had loosened and stain had discolored. Austin repaired to my satisfaction and requested that I call if any other issues were found. Otis arrived each day around 7:30 and began unloading and setting up equipment. The others reported between 8:00 and 8:30. The day ended at a stopping point in the work between 1:00 (last day) and 4:30. The crew was polite, offered to do additional tasks (pressure wash an old stone BBQ, stain wooden walk), and picked up all their trash. Three of them smoked but I found no butts upon their departure. The price was reduced slightly from the initial estimate and Lou called to ask about my satisfaction with the completed job. This is a quality operation by people who do what they say they will do and deliver an outstanding finished product.

This project went very well and was well worth the cost. These two guys came in and were done in less than 2.5 hours. Everything was beautiful and not a drop anywhere. There were some strange and awkward structural issues and they handled them well. Even chaned my AC filters while they were up on the ladders. Great guys.

Lou Phillips' team had a fair quote, and did very clean work. Their team showed up on time, and followed the plan agreed to, although we had to remind them about the trenching around the house. The painting performed looks better than we expected. We have had several complements on the job! I wouldn't hesitate to use Lou Phillip's painting again, and in fact, I intend to for my interior painting. Thanks Lou!

Lou Phillips was very professional and knowledgeable. When I called him in the afternoon to get an estimate to paint the exterior of our home, he went by that very evening and had the estimate to me the next morning. He also left a brochure with photos and details of the company. There was a delay on my part getting the painting work started as I had to receive approval from the HOA which took over two months. Mr. Phillips was very understanding as I relayed my frustrations to him during update calls. When we finally received approval, a start date was scheduled very quickly. The painting started on a Monday and was completed on a Wednesday. This included the two painters returning on Wednesday for minor touch ups. We were very pleased with the paint job. The painters were very punctual and polite and did a great job. Lou Phillips Painting is a very professional outfit. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. Quality work!

I was very impressed with the professionalism of Lou Phillips Painting right from the outset. I contacted Lou and set up a meeting. He arrived on time as agreed, walked the building with me, explained what his team would do and provided me with an estimate on the spot, including providing references for me to follow up and validate the quality of their work. He was very personable and professional and gave me a lot of good information on which to base my decision about selecting the company to paint my house. Lou's was one of the few companies i have worked with who are completely up front about insurance and workers compensation coverage carried by his firm, which as I have discovered previously can be very important, so glad to know everything was covered. I had to hold off on making my decision as I was traveling for a few weeks (specifically about 5-6 weeks), so there was a bit of a delay before I got back to Lou. Nevertheless he honored the earlier price we had discussed and we agreed on a starting timeframe. The work was delayed by a few days, but Lou kept me informed of the situation and I was not too concerned, it was literally just a few days. We were also up against Thanksgiving and an impending storm, but the team turned up as agreed and worked diligently to get the work done. I was very happy with the quality of the work, the diligence of the team and their attention to detail and to keeping the work area clean and protected. Everything was completed to my satisfaction on time and when I did the walkthrough with Austin there was very little either of us could find to touch up. Overall a great experience and my thanks to Derek and Frank for their hard work.

Lou and his team were very professional. It took them 1 day to prep the house and another to paint it. Austin even ran to the paint store mid project when we asked to have the fence included in the job. Our before and after is amazing. We have curb appeal!

The crew of Otis, James, and Chris came to my home to begin for a very long day at 8 AM. They were very professional, neat, and friendly. They stayed until after 5 PM to complete all of the work. They asked me to look for any areas that I felt needed to be retouched before leaving. Lou -the owner-also stopped by during the day and after the job was completed to make sure it was to my satisfaction. Theses guys are the BEST!!! I will use this company again.

We have always used Angie's List as a source of contractors to consider for work at our home. For this exterior painting project, we considered 4 different companies. All of them had high ratings with Angie's List, but we chose Lou because of his professionalism, painting processes and the outstanding references from his prior customers. We had many questions for Lou, and he was always responsive and patient. We were not disappointed with our decision. Frankie and his crew did an outstanding job and we were extremely pleased with the final product. We would definitely recommend Lou's company and would use them again in the future.
