Very good experience

It was great, they were good.

My dryer was not drying properly. It took about 90 minutes for a normal load that took only about 30 minutes when the dryer was new. I was told that my dryer vent might be clogged up. I logged on to Anglies list and selected a technician to look into it. I selected ?Lint Busters?. I called them up and made an appointment. When they came out they found that the vent the pipe was clogged up at both ends. Clogs were found at the roof level and at the dryer level. Also, the vent pipe was broken at two places. He came out and vacuumed the pipe out and snaked a line up the length of the pipe to check for breakages and loosened up the lint. Just as I suspected the pipe was clogged up. He repaired the pipe in two locations. It took about one hour. I am impressed with the level of Robbie?s professionalism and knowledge. The dryer is drying efficiently again. They did a great job. I would recommend Lint Busters to anyone. Cost $95.

Robbie arrived on time at both homes (Wednesday & Friday) and did a thorough cleaning of the vents and the area around the dryer (& in the dryer). He was very professional, clean and careful with my homes and dryer. I would definitely recommend him!

Robbie is terrific! We had been having issues with air from our dryer leaking out the vent , making the utility room extremely hot and humid. Had another duct company out to clean out air ducts, who advised that the dryer vent would need repair and they did not provide that service. I then searched Angie's List , and emailed several dryer duct and chimney service providers. Although I had conversations with others, Robbie is who impressed me the most. First he emailed me back on a Friday night after hours, with not just a yes or no answer in terms of "do you provide this service," but also consultative advice through his email. I really appreciated the free advice he gave, without even stopping by. He even emailed back and forth with me through the weekend, and affirmed that he had time on Monday to stop by - the earliest that anyone could commit to. I canceled my Tuesday appt with another service provider due to Robbie's responsiveness. Feedback from my husband, who was here at the house with Robbie, was that he was extremely knowledgeable, fast and courteous. He worked efficiently to not just clean our dryer vent but also repair the opening, which was leaking air due to a clog in the middle of the vent. This included having to climb into the attic to troubleshoot. Robbie's price is very reasonable and his emails always thoroughly explained his policies and payment methods, so we knew all this prior to his showing up. He applied the Angie's List discount without my having to ask, to boot! We are very happy with Lint Busters and would not hesitate/will use them again!! Great job and thank you!!

In a nutshell, excellent service. He was a little early (always good in my book) and even took time to kill a pesky wasp at my entrance before coming inside. The work took a little over an hour - and would likely have been faster if I had stopped interrupting him to chat! His work was thorough and, as a single female, I felt comfortable having him in my home. Even my dog liked him. The clothes drying time had noticeably increased. No problem with calling and scheduling the appointment for service. Mr. Kates arrived promptly and took off his shoes before walking on the carpet. He explained what he would be doing inside and outside the home. He was efficient, pleasant and did not waste time. Since the service, the drying time has decreased. I have already referred this company to another friend.

Hiring this company was a great experience. The serviceman arrived promptly and we discussed how he would clean the dryer vent. He was informative and polite. Within an hour the vent was clean. The serviceman also cleaned the inside of the dryer to make sure everything was thoroughly done. It was like having a new dryer. I will definitely hire them again.

I want to explain something that I think is important for someone to understand how truly professional Robert is and the level of service you will receive if you decide to do business with him. I called a week before my service date to schedule an appointment, it was around noon on a Thursday. I won't share Robert's personal details but I happened to call on a day when he was going through an extreme family emergency and yet still, his wife called me back within an hour of my call to explain the situation and that there would be a delay in Robert returning my call. I received a call from him the next morning before 9AM. I don't know of a single service provider in this industry or any other that would have been so prompt under his circumstances. He is a true professional and goes above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. It was clear from that first interaction that this is not just a job or business for Robert. If it was just a job I would not have received a return call for at least a week and I would have been more than understanding of that. He also took the time to explain to me what I could do prior to my service date if I needed to use my dryer (the service was long overdue and it was taking 2+ drying cycles to get the clothes dry and on some loads it was causing my dryer to overheat and shut off before the cycle was complete). Now for the actual service. He arrived on time and was very professional and personable. Before he began the service he explained what he would be doing step by step. He attached a vacuum to the portion of the vent that extends into the house to catch any lint that was blown through. He then went to the roof to snake the hose through the vent and into the house first (he does this so that most of the lint can be caught by the vacuum before it enters the house). Once that was complete he would snake from the inside vent up through the outside to ensure that the vent was thoroughly cleaned. He also cleaned the vent up through my actual dryer to ensure that part was clean. When he was finished he did not leave a speck of lint inside my house. After the service he explained to me that the way my condo was constructed required my vent to have 2 very sharp elbows before it exited the side of the building. He gave me tips on how to avoid problems and get the most effecient drying times out of my dryer. I will definitely be seeing Robert annually and will highly recommend his service to anyone and everyone I know.

My dryer is a large one and it was wedged next the the washer in a small laundry room. Robert didn't have any problem pulling it out. He cleaned the dryer vent from the inside to the outside of the house. Robert has a great personality and provides outstanding customer service. I absolutely recommend Lint Busters to anyone.

I live in a condo and have a very small laundry room, therefore I have a combo washer and dryer set.The dryer has always taken a long time to dry and I just assume it was because the size of the dryer. After Robbie did all the cleaning, he set up the hose from the dryer to the vent to allow for the best air flow possible,( this was neither done by company that I purchase the system from or even the last company that I had clean the vent)..After the first few times that I have used the dryer since Robbie service, my drying time has decrease by 30%.Sometimes having someone that cares and is not just in it for the money can make all the difference.

We have used Lint Busters twice now. Our dryer stopped drying. We have three dogs and two cats so I figured it was the hair stuck in the pipe to the outside. He came by and cleaned out the dryer and pipe. Climbed up on roof and found the mesh blocking the opening. It was 1/4" full of hair. He cut away the mesh and cleaned up the pipe. Still charged me the quoted price. He did a great job and cleaned up the garage. Will have them out again before the dryer stops working.

Overall, very pleased with the experience.

Chris was prompt, professional, pleasant and did a good job of cleaning the vent and making recommendation for followup based on the amount of laundry I do. He's a good guy!

Mr. Kates was called for an estimate and was able to perform the work within a day. He promised to arrive between 9:00-9:30am and he arrived exactly at 9am. He owns the business and is prompt, professional, timely and friendly. I would highly recommend him to others.

Cleaned out the dryer vent for my mother's dryer that I don't think had been done in YEARS. He did an excellent job and was very kind and patient with my 87 year old mother. I have already told my friends and neighbors about him, and will definitely use his services when my vent next needs cleaning (I had just had mine done by another company and was very dissatisfied).
