I feel like I have a brand new dryer! I have always been diligent about cleaning the lint trap after every load, but I just wasn't ever happy with the way my dryer worked. I don't know why but it never occurred to me that dryer vent cleaning would be the answer to my dryer's poor performance. I've lived in my home for 9 years and never had the vent duct cleaned, and from the looks of the stuff that came out and how solidly packed one section of the pipe was, it's a wonder that I was ever even able to get anything dry. I feel rather foolish that I hadn't had this service performed when I first moved here, but you can bet I'll be doing this every year from now on. I live with 3 dogs and a couple of cats which means that any laundry I do has a fair amount of hair in it. Add to that the sand in Florida houses and normal lint, and it's bound to affect a dryer's performance. I've dried three loads since the vent was cleaned, and they were finished in a fraction of the time it had been taking. Just think of how much I'll save on electricity, not to mention the time wasted waiting for clothes to get dry that were basically just being steamed. Mr. Kates said that a cleaning normally takes about 45 minutes, but my job took more than twice the time. Yet he still charged me the same fee and even gave me a discount because I found him on Angie's list. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again and will be sure to recommend his work to others. If it's been a while since you've cleaned your dryer vent that leads to the outside of your home, you're probably wasting time and money like I was. Getting the "Big Deal" Angie's List email offer for Lint Busters dryer vent cleaning was perfect timing since I was in the process of searching out a company to do this work. Robbie was friendly, efficient, and prompt, even calling me the morning of my appt to see if he could come ahead of my scheduled time since he was in the area and had a cancellation. Drying time has been greatly improved since he was here. I would definitely recommend this company and will use it again in the future.

I knew my dryer needed cleaning, but didn't know how to go about it. When I saw the email from Angies List offering a $69 special, I thought it would be a good time to take action. I was concerned that the job might be difficult because we have a stacked washer-dryer in a small closet on the third floor. However, everything went very well and Rob Kates did a great job. I definitely would recommend him to others.

Our dryer wasnt working properly so we started by calling our service provider for appliance repair. They quickly diagnosed the dryer using the paper towel test. There was little or no air suction so they reccomended calling a company that cleans dryer vents (Wish we know about the paper towel test or asked to try over the initial phone call since we are repeat customers but they thanked us for our $130.00 house call contribution anyway). So as always, we consutled Angies list for A rated vent cleaners and found Lint busters. We bought the house 3 years ago and never had the vents cleaned so the service was long over due. I can not compliment enough how professional, sincere, and customer driven Robert was. My wife actually said this was the easiest and nicest service provider she ever dealt with. We called on a late Friday afternoon and they were out on the next morning. Robert even called the next day to ensure our dryer was working properly and to our satisfaction! How many service providers call the next day to ensure the work???? I think this was the first...... Turns out we really needed the vents cleaned anyway, but the appliance repair company was lazy in the initial house call and troubleshooting. We ended up needing a sensor wire repaired on the dryer unit so they came back out anyway to fix (this time on their dime).

I called Lint Busters and they were able to come out that day. I had to reschedule, so he came back this morning. There was a problem with the duct where it had become detached and was blowing right into the dirt in the crawl space. He was able to get to the problem, reattach the duct, and add some supports so it wouldn't happen again in the future.

There were several same like businesses closer to my Safety Harbor location then Lint Busters Tampa location but because of all the excellent reports I decided to see if they would make the drive to Safety Harbor. They were able to schedule me very quickly and I am very happy I contacted them. They were very punctual and courteous. He started work immediately. It was amazing how much lint was cleaned from the dryer and vent. I can see why it would be considered a fire hazard. I was concerned about the limited space in the laundry room but Robbie was able to work around the cramped space. I am very pleased with the service I received and will pass the word to my neighbors and friends about the importance of maintaining a clean dryer vent and the great work done by Lint Busters.

Robbie answered my email in 12 hours, and had the job done the next day. He took off the outside plastic grill that was accumulating all the lint which was closing off the vent. I don't know what the inside of the vent looks like, but the faster drying will confirm it. Fantastic service!
