LINT BUSTERS DRYER VENT CLEANING

I was sick of climbing up on my roof only to do a half baked job of cleaning out the dryer vent. Robert got his power tools out and removed a ton of crud that was clogging up the system. Thanks Robert! Very happy with improved dryer performance.

Robbie's awesome. Immediately returned my call even while out of town for a wedding. Setup the appointment as soon as he was back in town. Extremely nice guy on the phone and in person. We had new construction and of course they left the screen on the vent termination. Robbie removed it and the inch thick of lint built up on it. We ran our dryer that night and it dried in now time (no more two to three cycles).

My dryer was not drying well and taking several cycles to get heavy loads done. I called a dryer repair company who checked out the dryer and said the dryer was OK, but the repairman recommended that I have the dryer duct cleaned. I called Lint Busters and talked to Robert. When Robert heard my dryer's symptoms, he recommended that I limit dryer usage and run loads on low or no heat until my cleaning to avoid damaging the dryer (something that the appliance repairman didn't mention). Robert called to confirm the appointment and arrived on time. He's a clean cut, personable man and easy to do business with. To complete his services, Robert pulled out the dryer and disconnected the dryer vent hose from the dryer (there was a nice glob of lint in the dryer hose). He then attached a large hose from a shop vac to the dryer hose, clicked on the shop vac and went outside to climb up on the roof and use a compressed air blower in the dryer vent hood on the roof. When Robert came down from roof, he had a small metal screen that he'd removed from my rooftop dryer vent. It was completely clogged along with a good 3/4 inch thick "mat" of lint. Robert asked me if I'd recently had a new roof put on-- which I did....and, as he suspected, the dryer outlet had been replaced with the roof. (A recent article titled, "Don't buy these 5 things at home improvement stores", in the Sept. 2014 Tampa Bay, Angie's List magazine, had just covered the potential for fire when screened dryer vents are installed. The article stated, "It worries us that these are still being sold." and included the quote, "Building codes are clear on the issue, and no screens are allowed on the dryer vent termination. It you have one on your home, have a qualified contractor replace it immediately." ) But -- with that barrier of lint, no wonder my dryer wasn't up to par. After he finished cleaning the dryer duct, Robert connected his shop vac to the lint exhaust on the back of the dryer and used this compressed air gun in the dryer's lint filter opening to blow out lint inside the dryer. He also explained how running the dryer on a rainy day can plug up the dryer vent on the roof. Robert was on time, professional, quick and he sure knows his dryers and the world of lint. He's also very clean. He even used his shop vac to pick up a little dirt and lint from under the dryer and then blew some dirt and leaves out of my garage and off of my drive with his air compressor hose. I recommend his services and I know I'll use him again.

Wonderfully. To say that working with Robbie was a pleasure would be a great understatement. Punctual, attentive to detail, and just great. He even constructed a great lint catcher basket that is easy to clean. Out of many vendors I spoke with (all from Angies List), he was the only one who not only said he could do the job (very narrow area to work in), but did it with a smile.

This is the 2nd time I have used Lint Busters. On the phone and in person, Robbie was pleasant and personable, yet still professional. He called ahead as requested to let me know he was on his way. He was knowledgeable and very thorough. He explained everything that he was doing, and asked specific questions about our laundry habits & woes to determine why there was such a build-up of lint over just 2 years. (We'd had a new roof put in, and the roofers had not removed the small screen from the mouth of the rooftop vent - who knew?!) He also moved my dryer to the optimal position to avoid crimping the hose, and showed me what to watch out for in the future. I will definitely hire Robbie again, and I recommend him highly.

It wet very good and quick. He explains alot as he goes along cleaning. when he leaves you feel good about his service and what not to do to avoid any future problems

Very friendly. Arrived promptly for the appointment. Did the job even though it was raining heavily (required outside work). No complaints and I would use this company again. Does not accept credit cards, cash or check only.

Service was great! Robbie was very professional and scheduled my service immediately. He explained all the details of what he was doing and why. He also replaced the hose behind my dryer because mine had holes in it. He even cleaned out the bottom compartment of my dryer which had a lot of lent there too. I truly appreciate it. It use to take me hours just to dry a load -now it's done in 30 -40 minutes. I will definitely utilize his services again.

I called and he was able to work within my schedule to come to the house. My dryer vent had not been cleaned in a long time. He worked on it for an hour before finishing. Excellent job. He cleaned and tested the dryer. I would recommend to others. Thank you so much.

Was able to make an appointment for next day. Very responsive. Called when on his way. Prompt, friendly, and thorough! I only have to run the dryer about 35 minutes for towels now - and sometimes it would take up to 50 minutes before I had the vents vacuumed. Super nice guy.
