Hello Luis, while it is understandable that the "post hurricane" requests for help are numerous - it would be nice to have a call back at the very least as to status. This after paying you $400 for pulling a permit. 2 or more weeks and no contact! Thus this bad review. Update as of 02/20/2025 I have another review on this site, I could not access it because of the inept ways that the folks on development and website management team built this platform... I digress... the previous Review was not good toward Lee Electric... This review is an update. Luis E the owner was very receptive to assisting us in our time of need post Hurricane's Helene and Milton, however due to some unforeseen challenges we were not able to utilize his services. I am giving the 4 stars for his prompt attention to the matter of a refund for services that could not be rendered.

they are lying s****. I requested a repair estimate and Luis told me they never charged to come make an estimate. Then they sent an invoice requesting $149 -389 to come "troubleshoot."

A very cordial and professional electrician worked with care to execute my scope of work to perfection. He arrived on time and consulted with me as he proceeded through the job. Excellent service!

Honest fair electrican I would recommend to my family and friends. On time and gets the job done without any excuse.

This is the second time I've used Lee Electric, with superb service both times. Luis (the owner) did the work himself, and fully explained the problem, proposed solution, and pricing, before proceeding. He's a true professional. Highly recommended.

This is a repeat visit; Luis did a great job last time so we knew who to call. He is responsive comes up with good ideas and does great electrical work! Will use him in the future as needed.

Luis was prompt, professional, skilled and honest in all interactions. He came out immediately and provided us a reasonable estimate. The work was scheduled quickly (which we appreciated given everything else we have going on). Luis and his assistant arrived promptly on both days and did an excellent job in all respects. Luis was very careful to ensure actual effort aligned with his original estimate given the floor outlets might have presented issues. When the effort was less than what he'd anticipated, he adjusted his cost accordingly. We decided to ask him to remediate an electrical issue in my husband's office, as a result. We would absolutely contract Luis again and have no hesitation in referring him to others.

He came today to check two outlets. I wanted to make sure that would not catch on fire. I have used him for the last 4 years and I call him any time I have any electrical problems.

He as able to book quickly and was less expensive than other quotes I received. Very nice on the phone and in person. I'd definitely hire them again!

I got good service from them. It was reasonable. I liked their time to respond.

They were both fixed. After that I have been trying to contact him for a 2nd job (bc I do not know anybody else in the area) and the follow-up has been terrible. He does not answer my phone calls and just returned one of my text messages ( as if he was not interested in the job) I would not recommend it to anybody ( expensive work and terrible follow-up)

Luis Espel was responsive, communicated well, researched surge protection options, arrived on time and performed excellent work. I would not hesitate to hire Luis again.

Luis and his helper successfully and quickly diagnosed a problem with a non-working circuit. Previously an "A" rated licensed electrician was UNsuccessful in diagnosing the same problem. The repair took about 2 1/4 hours. He gave us options on how to implement the repair. We were very pleased.

Luis and Tuan did a fantastic job! Luis explained the job in detail upfront with a very detailed quote. There were no surprise costs or fees. These guys are professional and know their profession very well. I will not hesitate to call Lee Electric in the future for my electrical needs, nor will I hesitate to pass on as a referral.

We've used Luis many times and he is fantastic. He always gives a detailed estimate prior to completing work so there aren't any "surprises" later. He also explained that he would have to cut into our drywall to pull wires and that repair would be my responsibility. Even though he had to cut the drywall, he did it very neatly and secured the pieces back in place to make the work easier for the drywall contractor. We scheduled the work for 8/21/15 at 9:00 a.m. Luis arrived on time with a helper and they immediately got to work. He checked in with me while working to make sure he had the lights exactly where I wanted them. He had estimated the work would take several hours and even though he had to make a run to Home Depot (no charge to me), he still finished by mid-afternoon. Everything is perfect and I'm getting so many compliments on the under-cabinet lights and the pendant light. We have used his services for years and will continue to do so. He has hung ceiling fans and fluorescent lights. He also wired our generator to our electric panel and added wall outlets in our office. No task is too small or too big. We are always happy.

Luis from Lee Electric did a fantastic job. He was very polite and professional, was very knowledgeable, and very clean. He gave me one of the best estimates and the work performed was excellent. Ceiling Fan install : Due to the location of where we wanted a fan and there being no attic above, there needed to be some drywall cuts made to run the necessary electric. He also assembled the fan and installed it for an extra fee that I felt was worth it given that this was 12'+ high and didn't have a ladder that could reach it. I am pleased with the install and the fan runs great. CAT5E run: Again, due to the layout of my home, there needed to be some drywall cuts in order to get the cat5 cabling from the downstairs floor to an upstairs linen closet. There he added an electric outlet for my switch, and a jack panel for the cable run. I also had him run another cable from there to a bedroom where my office will be. He also did the wiring and install of a jack panel there as well. Everything worked as it should and I'm pleased with the clean installation. One thing to note, drywall repair is not offered or included in the estimate. This was clearly stated to me when I was given the initial quote. While I had Luis here, I asked him about moving a light switch in my garage that was on the wrong side of the door and move it to the other side. I had forgot to ask him about this when he first gave me my quotes. He gave me a quick quote on the spot and was able to do the work right then and there for me. I would definitely hire Lee Electric again. Not only did they give me the best quote, but they also did an amazing job and clean up.

Overall the service was good. Gave a D on price because there was a $50 discount that was never mentioned by Luis and he knew full well that I was on Angie's List and would give him a review. At the time we talked about it he was getting all A's. Gave a C for responsiveness because Luis said if the hot tub people didn't/wouldn't hook up the spa he would swing by on his way home and do it. His text message to me said he couldn't come until 5 days later!! Would of been lower if it hadn't been a Friday late afternoon.
