Description of Work: She arrived on time, was very professional. She proceeded to look at my collections and inherited items and as everyone else, only wanted to cherry pick the best and most liquid items (certified coins, and melt down value of all gold and silver). I could get this anywhere. I need to dispose of the whole lot including China, rare glassware, fine jewelry not just the best stuff at below melt down value.

I drove 3 hours Round Trip, I spent 2 hours with you, a total of 5 hours to meet with you. I do not cherry pick, I will evaluated everything that I have knowledge of. I do the very best I can with what I am dealt and I did so also with you. I even followed up with you afterwards to better help you liquidate items which were equal to common modern coin change. Again, I am very sorry that I did not meet or exceed your expectations. I truly would not have changed a thing as I gave you my all. I am willing to be of assistance to you in anyway if you desire. I am posting you a refund check for the discounted fees you paid for my In-Home service; I cannot imagine doing more for you. My best to you and yours.

My only other comment is that the second estimate I received was more than $200 higher than the first, which is a substantial difference. I admit to being uncertain as to why there was such a difference, but the variance was that large, nonetheless.
Description of Work: I had inherited a coin collection that I wanted an estimate on. I thought the cost of $29 was so very reasonable, and I loved that they came to my home. Being a novice at this, I was not aware that I could go to any given store and request an estimate in person, and that most places that do this, do so free of cost. This is no fault of the company, but rather the user :).

As for the estimate in value of your item: Upon receiving your review, I recalculated the items I viewed that day. I do not see any possibility of this price change of over $200. In fact I don't even see $50 in potential price difference of my evaluation and the other evaluation you mentioned. Perhaps you had found other items that were not available to me at the time of our visit. Overall, we are very sorry you were not satisfied. I had an emergency, but the markets were closed. Suzanne was in the middle of a major move and was unable to help through her own business, but took the time and many phone calls to set me up with another dealer who was able to help me on Saturday. I really cannot say enough about her friendliness, professionalism and helpfulness. She definitely exceeded my expectations! I would recommend her highly.

Within an hour, they gave me a value for my coin collection. I agreed to their price. They wrote me a check and the deal was complete. What a pleasure to have an in-home coin appraisal. I felt they were brusk and anxious to get in and get out and perhaps purchase a valuable coin or collection in the process. Although they did put a value on the coins, they put nothing in writing when they started to depart--they were at my home for about 45 minutes. I had to stop them and ask what the final value was. I am still not certain whether that value was a retail value or what they might be willing to pay me for them.
Description of Work: This was a special price offer and for the money I guess I got what I paid for. I purchased the service to get a value put on a misc. collection of coins from my parents and grand parents. And while I understand they were not getting paid their full price due to the "deal."

I liked the fact that they came to us. I wouldn't have bothered if I had to shop different places of business finding someone who wanted to buy our silver coins. And I wouldn't have lugged them around either. It worked out perfectly for us, very satisfied.
Description of Work: One of my friends recommended we use them, they have been doing business with them for many years. When I called them, they promptly set up an appointment with us and showed up on time. They took the time to explain what it was that we had and offered to purchase it. We had much more in value than we thought and were happy to sell. In addition to our coins, they bought my broken bracelet and my Grandfathers gold watch which was great because it was just taking up space. I would gladly recommend them like our friends did for us and that is why I took the time to express our satisfaction. If we decide to invest, we will also use them, I felt completely comfortable with them. I would highly recommend to others.
