Very pleased with all aspects of the job. John, Heidi and the installation crew were professional throughout, paying a lot of attention to detail. They were open to our input and willing to accommodate some changes we requested during the project. They installed Hardi siding on the entire second floor, including plywood sheathing and 13 new Simonton high impact windows. We hired John Anderson to replace our wood siding with Hardie siding and to replace a wooden post that was rotting. The workmanship was great, cleaned up at the end of each day and met all of our expectations. The siding survived the two recent hurricanes! Heidi and John were very easy to work with and responsive, the crew was great!

It was a huge decision to replace the rotting cedar siding of our home with Hardie Board. Deciding which contractor to work with was equally stressful - until we meet John Anderson. John, his wife Heidi, and his crew reliably performed above our expectations. John made sure that work stayed on track and that we were completely satisfied by the end of the job. We are so grateful that we chose John Anderson and we would do so again in a heartbeat.

John and Heidi were absolutely phenomenal. We hired them for Hardie-Board siding and impact window replacement. John was the consummate professional, never late, always notifying me of any expected changes during the job. John's crew was tidy, efficient, and easy to work with. John will tell you upfront that they aren't the lowest bid (they aren't) but they weren't the highest either. They are quite busy with multiple other jobs (indicative of demand and the level of service they perform) but I never felt that I was anything but their top priority. I would not hesitate to recommend John to anyone.

I honestly cannot say enough kind things about JAB Contractor Inc. We worked with them install new windows on the whole house, new James Hardie Siding as well as new sheathing and insulation. They stood head and shoulders above anybody else we have worked with for the following reasons: 1) Most competitive pricing, no sales team means no pushy sales tactics or heavy commissions to pay for. John himself came to our house to do our estimates. 2) High level of craftsmanship. Where everybody else we got a quote from wanted to gloss over some of the damage we had beneath the siding. John was committed to doing it right and fixing any underlying structural issues we had (termite damage, water rot) and making sure our house was in tip top shape. Our old home feels sturdy and beautiful once more. 3) Quick, efficient, high attention to detail and true to their word. John's crew cut no corners and finished everything on time. They were transparent, trustworthy and hard working. I could not recommend them more.

John and Heidi Anderson were simply stunning to deal with. My feedback come months later but needed to provide input on everyone working for them. They not only were able to start the job sooner because of a gracious customer, but finished work rather quickly because of their talented staff! The focus on craftsmanship and caring was stunning and with necessary repairs to water damaged wood, they made it look easy and everything was way beyond what we hoped the turnout would be! Andres was my point contact for any questions or concerns. Tom performed a lot of the repairs to the damaged wood and his work is second to none. Raymond joined the group a few days later and his work was also exceptional! Luis was the fourth man on the team and goodness knows how many nails he installed to assure everything was solid! Anytime I made an observation on something, the response was we know and will take care of it…and they did! The team at John Anderson will always be on our list to call first!!

I’m sure I could write 20 more of them as well. Just one word of advice: Hire these people. You will be thrilled that you did. My house is beautiful.

GREAT. Project started out in our mind to simply replace three gable areas of our home with new siding. John (of John Anderson Building Contractor (JAB)) showed up as scheduled for the initial visit and spent a lot of time with us, making some great recommendations on how the different siding materials would integrate into the existing home look and how we might save some money in our approach. We settled on James Hardie siding for the three gable areas and Heidi promptly got us a detailed quote which we found to be very fair. Before JAB started, our reroof (by another contractor) identified some other areas needing residing. Again, the quote we got from Heidi was fair and prompt. JAB started and completed the residing on schedule - zero issues. Before the painting was scheduled, and because everything had gone so smoothly, we elected to close in with new siding two windows above our main entrance. Again, quoted and completed as promised and with zero issues. JAB was enjoyable to work with and John and Heidi remained engaged from initial contact thru completion of painting, which also happened on schedule. We are very happy with our decision to use JAB, that we added work scope to the initial project, and with the outcome. Throughout this engagement, it was clear to us that John and Heidi are client-focused and go out of their way to ensure everything JAB does is done right and as promised. It is also clear to us why JAB consistently gets 5 star ratings!

John and Heidi are terrific, Alex, Raymond and the rest of their crew do great. professional work, always making sure we were happy with the job. They respected us and our home, and always cleaned the jobsite daily before leaving. Heidi kept us informed about the progress, letting us know what and when as the job progressed, and John was at the job often to make sure all was going smoothly. I literally can't say enough good things about John Anderson Building Contractor, Inc. I had 6 or 7 different quotes for the work and John stood out as someone who knows this work incredibly well and cares about the quality of the work his team does. The crew themselves were incredibly professional and did amazing work. My neighbor would sit outside and watch them work as she said they were better than watching HGTV! I hired John Anderson to replace siding on part of my home. He and his team did an excellent job. My wife and I removed the existing siding, then John's team took over. They were super neat, cleaning up each day before they left. They arrived on time each day, were pleasant, professional and hard working. When unexpected conditions were encountered, communications and explanations were clear and accurate, allowing us to collaborate and move forward together to get through the problem. Quite well. Workers were diligent in installation, quality of product and work were excellent. Issue with additional repair work was addressed and completed during project. Owner visited on site often to address any concerns. The Anderson team worked well with the roofer to coordinate scheduling conflict. The exterior looks beautiful.

The project went great. The workmanship that John Anderson and his crew bestowed was just great. Mr. Anderson made the project very easy from quote to finish. Hardie Board was the siding of choice and his crew was professional, polite and answered all questions that were asked of them. The job consisted of removing the old siding, repairing damaged framing, adding insulation .enclosing the back of the house with 1/2" plywood, installing the siding and trim and painting the project area once construction was done. After construction, the site was cleaned prior to the crew leaving the job. Should I have other projects that need to be done on my house, my first call would be to John Anderson Building Contractors. I couldn't be more pleased with the job that was done.

John Anderson Building Contractor, Inc. is hands down the best contractor I have every worked with, and I have had numerous projects over the years with other companies. We re-sided our home with hardie board. John and his wife, Heidi, run the business, with John working in the field, and Heidi working in the office. It is an extremely well run company. They were both extremely honest about what was needed and the cost of things. I really appreciate that in a contractor, so we were never hit with any unwelcome "surprises". Not only that, but the company really cares about the quality of their work, they are most professional, have years of experience and really know what they are doing. I also like the fact that all the construction work was done by their own employees, who were also extremely diligent and cared about the quality of their work. It was a pleasure to work with such a fine, upstanding company. At the end of each day, they were great at cleaning up the work site. When other issues came up that were somewhat related to the project, they took care of those, too. We now have a home that is secure and will last a long time with the new hardy board. I would have no reservations, and would highly recommend this professional, honest, diligent (and pleasant to work with) company!
