JOE'S TREE SERVICE & LANDSCAPING

It went very well. They got the job done quickly. The estimate was right on. The workers worked hard and seemed courteous and professional. I was happy with their service.

They had agreed to climb the tree and take it down piece by piece. The crew arrived before the owners of the company and we heard a loud noise and realized the tree was being cut down from the bottom. When it fell, it crushed our sidewalk. They agreed that it would be repaired within a few days. The work was done, the tree was cut down on 3 December. We waited patiently and the repair was not done. After the first call, a two-man crew came out and removed the cracked cement and left three cones and yellow tape there, near our front door. No one ever came back to fill the hole with cement. We called them again and they planned to come last Sunday, but no one showed up and they didn't call. Wednesday, my husband bought 8 bags of cement and did it himself. I liked the couple; they were knowledgeable. That is why I picked them. The price was better than the other two recommended companies.

The entire experience was great. We called three tree services just before Christmas. Joe's was the first to get to our house and explain the problem. A certified arborist, who is very knowledgeable, came and inspected all of our trees and explained the problem with one diseased tree. They removed the tree quickly, safely, responsibly and in a professional manner. The tree was diseased and had to be disposed of in a specific manner due to the nature of the disease, in order to protect others in the environment. Joe's was the only service willing to properly dispose of the tree, so as to not infect other environments. Our yard was left neat and cared for. They took care of everything nicely. They were extremely responsive. Their price was not the lowest, but they were reasonable for the job at hand. We are very happy with Joe's Tree Service, and will use them again when needed.

Couldn't have been better. They did extras not required in the original contract at no added cost. Hire them for any tree work.

THE ESTIMATOR, TAMMIE WAS A DAY LATE ARRIVING FOR THE ESTIMATE. SHE SAID JOB WOULD BE DONE IN 2 DAYS STARTING AT 8AM. AT 10AM I CALLED TAMMIE TO ASK STATUS. SHE SAID THEY WERE TIED UP WITH A JOB BUT WOULD BE THERE BY MID AFTERNOON. I CALLED AT 5PM TO ASK WHEN. SHE SAID THE NEXT DAY AT 8AM. THE NEXT DAY AT 940AM JOE ARRIVED. THE OTHER 3 WORKERS ARRIVED ABOUT AN HOUR LATER.

It went very well. Tammie, the arborist came to my home to give an estimate and discuss what I wanted done. The crew was scheduled so that I could be home to oversee the work, but then had to change the schedule and come sooner than I had planned. (Tammie called to get my permission for the change.) I was worried that they would trim the trees too high, but they respected my instructions. The trees don't look denuded, they just look better. The crew cleaned up everything except the small branches that landed in the ground cover. Overall, I was very pleased. The work is expensive, but I had gotten an estimate from another tree service that was nearly $200 higher.

They were quick efficient and came in cheapest.

Very badly!! I made an appointment to get an estimate and took off my work to meet the estimator (Tammy) at my house. She never showed up and never called. I rescheduled for her to come out again. Time # 2 I take off my work again. She never shows up and never calls, I decide to be more than lenient and give her a 3rd chance. Again, she never called, she just did not show up. Each time she would apologize and promise me how much she will show up on time each succeeding appointment we schedule. So I decided to take my business elsewhere. I am done with Joe's Tree Service.

Joe arrived on Saturday at 10 AM to give us an estimate, as he said he would. He then arrived at approximately 8 AM the following Monday morning, as he had indicated he would, with his crew and performed the services agreed upon. Joe is very knowledgeable about his craft and very courteous. I will be using him every year to do my tree trimming. It's nice to be able to find someone you can count on to do what they say they will, like they say they will, and when they say they will. REFRESHING!

See above--this was an estimate--they company seemed fine, but they were higher priced than a company of comparable qualifications.

Great company to work with! Called company to get quote, Tammie came round next day and left a written quote. They managed to fit us in the next day as we were in a rush. They were fast and did a great job; pleasure to work with them. Another service provider came out and actually commented on what a nice job was done.

I called for an estimate on Friday and Tammie was here early Saturday to give the estimate. She was friendly and informative. We decided to accept the bid and she said the next day would be Tuesday, but they would call the night before. I did not hear anything until the next Sunday, to have the work done Monday. (This is my only minor complaint, but there had been quite a lot of rain, so I am assuming that caused the delay). They were here first thing (7:15 am) on Monday and the work was completed before 10:00. I had to leave for work and they did not have a problem with coming back the next day for a check. They trees look great. I can actually see the front of my house now that the laurel is gone. They yard even looked better after they cleaned up than before they arrived. I will not hesitate to call them again. I had gotten a few other estimates, (one was double) and am very satisfied with the work.

Joe showed up with his crew when he said he would, did what he promised, cleaned up the job site and was gone in no time.

Although they were scheduled to remove the tree one day, a previous serious injury prevented Joe from climbing the tree to do the work as planned so they called for a bucket truck. They couldn't get the truck until the following day but they showed up when they said they would, did all the work they had said they would do and perhaps a bit more, then cleaned up after themselves leaving my roof, gutters, and yard cleaner than they had found them! The use of the bucket truck (which is easier on the lawn than a bobcat) should have been more expensive but they stuck to their original estimate and did the work cheerfully, thoroughly, and well.

I have called Mr. Joe on the appointed date. He was there together with his employees within minutes. I was happy and very satisfied with their quality of workmanship that I have recommended them to my friends and family. They did an excellent job .

The owners wife came out to give us an estimate and we set a date two weeks in advance. They were to be here at 1:00 to do the work. My husband took time off specifically to be here. When they did not show up, I called the owner's wife and she said that all of the workers were working at another job and were at lunch. When they had not arrived by around 3:00, I called back and were still completing the other job (which was between an hour and an hour and a half away). The owner's wife wanted to reschedule, but at this point we have no interest.

The estimate was fabulous. Tammy came out to the house and was very friendly and informative. It took about a week for the permit to come through for the trimming of the grand oak out front. We had to call Tammy every couple of days to find out what was happening with the permit. I felt sometimes that we had to chase her down, and that she could have taken the initiative to call me to give the information. The crew came one fine morning, unannounced. When I called Tammy, she claimed that she had left a message on my cell (?). There was some confusion as to some of the items verbally said during the estimate, but not written on the formal estimate. Since it was not written, I take responsibility. For future clients, make sure that all tasks discussed at the estimate are part of the written estimate. The job itself was well done. We were quite pleased with the results, the professionalism, and the price.

They did everything I asked them to, and did a real good job! Good clean up afterward as well.

I called and got a quote over the phone which I accepted. I was told they would call the following week to set a time to remove the stumps. They showed up without calling ahead. Fortunately, I was home. Work was completed with no problems.

They are very responsive. His people are great. They are very courteous and clean up after themselves.

Timely, personable, and detailed. Other companies I called either didn't call back or just gave a quick estimate over the phone. This company actually took the time, effort, and gas to go out and do the free estimate.

I think this is a very reputable company since I was contacted soon after leaving a phone message. Tammy came out promptly and went over all details. We needed trimming of several trees on two properties. We did feel that $1500.00 was a high estimate, but it might have been that they would have done a better job. I would call her/them for work at another time, and also for landscaping.

They were on time for the estimate and were ahead of the promised time for the service. Were very professional. The tree that they shaped looked good. Price seemed a little high for the time it took.

I choose this company over another with a similar price estimate because their quote indicated that the roots would be ''grinded'' after the old shrubs were removed. This was not done and it took several phone calls over the span of a week before the company returned my phone calls and I was offered an explanation. The reason the roots were not ''grinded'' was because of the sprinkler system. In my opinion, it should have been evident that there was a sprinkler system when the quote was made, as well as the fact that sprinkler systems are standard in this community subdivision. I was disappointed that nothing was done to remove any of the old roots. I was more disappointed that it took the company, so long to return my phone calls. All of my messages were pleasant and non combative. The trees were nicely cleaned out and all of the debris from the tree and shrub removal was taken away.

Great work on trimming our trees and left our place clean of debris. Would recommend to others. Thank you.
