Termites are tricky and you can't solve the problem permanently but they didn't solve it. The worst of it was they would make appointments and not keep them. I had to pay them a yearly fee of a few hundred dollars. They eventually showed up. The treatment worked for a while. I just had to call them back fairly often. They should have come when they said they were going to come.

I joined their quarterly pest control program. Although I left work three times to meet someone, the representative failed to show up. When I complained, she claimed she had shown up but I didn't answer. I was waiting at the door for her so she lied. It turns out that I was not the only person she lied about. When she treated the house, she spent about 45 seconds putting down bait but never actually treated. I spent weeks waiting for something to happen. Bugs were everywhere ... on my baby's crib, in my son's hair, in the dishwasher and refrigerator. It was horrific! What she had done caused more problems than they helped and when I contacted them to return and fix the ongoing infestation for the next 4 weeks, they failed to return calls, failed to keep appiointments and eventually I demanded my money back. I have not been able to cook or keep food or even have my baby sleep in her bed for over a month. Finally, I had enought. Termininx came out within a day, when they said they would, and fixed the problem immediately. Terminix carefully treated the entire house and the exterior. They explained that this was what should have been done in the first place. JD Smith is horrible, unprofessional, unresponsive and worst of all, will leave you believing that your house was treated when in fact nothing was done.

Very easy. Mr. Howard was very professional and patient. All questions were answered. All instructions were clear on how to vacate the house, what to bag, etc. There was not clear communication (esp. on the day of vacating the house) on the handling of keys, and I was surprised to learn that the attic was to misted with a pesticide. I really wanted to pass the keys on personally to a rep before vacating the house. Good thing I waited around; no one had asked about access to the attic prior to the day I was to leave. Otherwise, I assume all went well. I'll know later in the year when swarming time comes around. My sense is that this company is trustworthy. BBB rates them highly.
