Jack O Trades

Simply the best ! Kenny came early and finished quickly ~ very friendly and professional. The work I wanted was very well done and Jack O' Trades is now my "Go To Handyman".

It went excellent. This is the second bath remodel we have hired Jack O Trades to do. We were happy with the first and again happy, with this one. Steve, our Jack O Trades onsite, from estimate until completion is the consummate professional. He treated our home and the work he performed as it it was his own with attention to detail, on time performance, and daily site clean up. He was considerate that he was in our home. His work is an attribute to his craft. We would recommend Steve to anyone and would gladly hire him again.

Jack O'Trades was phenomenal. I have had issues getting a handyman out to the house in the past, either they wouldn't show or would never call back. I submitted a request to Jack O'Trades on a Sunday and they responded Monday morning. They booked Kenny to come to the house between 7-730am on Thursday and he was there at 7:02! He was quick to assess the work, ran to home depot to get the supplies and returned and got to work immediately. He finished 8-10 odd jobs around the house before 1pm and was on his way. I will absolutely use Jack O'Trades and specifically Kenny again in the future.

Horrible. While the man replied it would be easy to hang these doors, he insisted they have a minimum charge of $220 which is insane. Additionally, there leadtime was not acceptable.

Steve was the only estimator to actually look in the attic and suggest adding bracing to the trusses. Steve did a great job installing new vinyl siding over osb board. He cleaned up his mess and was very conscientious.

The work done was excellent, but the written estimate was extremely misleading and the final cost was 30% more than the estimate.

We had an excellent experience with Jack O’ Trades. Logan, the owner, was obviously very experienced when speaking with him over the phone, and was very quick to get back to us when we inquired. We first thought that brand new doors would be needed, which they offered to get us “at cost,” but when Brian, the tradesmen, came out he knew right away that he could re-use our current doors and saved us that $500. Brian’s work was impeccable and the doors look great, so we will definitely be using this company again for all of our remodeling needs. Highly recommended!

Very impressed with Logan’s responses from day one and follow up texts and phone calls. Even more impressed with Brian, the gentleman who performed all of the work we needed. It was all completed efficiently and came out even better than we could have imagined at a great price. We decided to throw in a small bathroom update because there was still room in our budget. I have Logan on speed dial for any repairs we will do going forward and I highly recommend them!

I called Logan to schedule an appointment to evaluate the work and they were out the next day. Kenny performed the repair quickly and the work was exceptional. Great quality and service.

Everything went excellent, one guy came out and built it over the period of 4-5 days. Very good attention to detail. Logan is experienced and easy to talk with. Erick came out and did the work and was very professional. They know what they are doing. Great job!

Jack O Trades did an absolutely first class great job. It was a pleasure to have them do the work. Logan took care of the business details appropriately and Brian was the ultimate craftsman. We received a high quality product that our family, friends and neighbors are all raving about at a comparatively very good price. Logan and Brian are also very friendly and reliable and we look forward to having them do more upgrade projects on our home.

Steve arrived at 9:00 and worked tirelessly towards the door and board replacement. The door looks better than the original and the board fit perfectly into the rest of the deck. He had the August Florida heat and humidity as his adversary, but he worked on and finished both jobs at 2:30 with no one assisting him. Steve was hard working, personable, and understood precisely what we needed done with no direction from me or additional conversation. I would definitely hire Jack O' Trades again because of the the workmen are knowledgeable and exceedingly skillful. My husband was very pleased with how good both projects were completed.

Work fine. Price too high. Lectured by vendor when I provided this feedback PRIVATELY (even though I am paying the bill and never asked for a discount). The vendor did not know this but the work had to be done that morning lest the occupant have no safe ingress/egress. With this in mind, I agreed to the price so the work would get done immediately, but the price was objectively high relative to material or time. I mentioned this (never once saying I would not pay) and the vendor lectured me on how I should have handled this better (than private feedback to the vendor??). Maybe there was some truth in my private constructive criticism? Who knows, but whatever the thought process the vendor gets a low mark from me for both the price and the response to my one-on-one feedback that never appears in this review but for the lecture. Strange way to treat a paying customer.

Fantastic job. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Everything was completed to my satifaction

The estimate was for $400. It was a free estimate. I will use him tomorrow. If he works out I'm going to keep him as my handyman. I'm a disabled veteran so I can't do odd jobs around the house. I can look at them on YouTube and I tried to fix a little cartridge in the shower and I ended up breaking it. If I would have hired a handyman, it would have cost me $150. Now, it's costing me almost $1500 for trying to do it myself. So, no more "do-it-myself". I chose him because he had very good ratings on Angie's List. The reviews all "A's" and a couple "B's" but he was well recommended.

They were wonderful. Always on time, very professional.

The work itself is excellent, very high quality. They built exactly what I was asking for. There was some challenges with communication and punctuality in the beginning resulting in a 3 day delay on the project. I was also charged extra for finishing work on the deck because I didn't know that it wasn't included in the original estimate or that it was something I had to address separately. To me, an estimate for a deck should be for a complete, finished deck. Logan and Andrew were both very thorough and attentive though and we worked through it.
