Jack O Trades

These were projects that I would not have done myself, so I was pleased to get them done at a satisfactory level of quality.

It was a free estimate. He is a contractor that sub-contracts work to other people, so he as a complete job kind of guy. What stood out about him was that he was very thorough and put in more effort looking and things and checking things out. I don’t plan to use him in the future.

He is terrific. He did not over charge me, he gave me a senor citizen discount.

He came out timely to give us the estimate. He took his time to measure carefully and gave us good ideas. We felt comfortable that he would be the right choice if the price was right, but the price was too high.

Logan Steele came out to the house the day after we called. He was right on time, and very professional. He advised us about installing a powered vent in a crawl space. His advice was right on, and he saved us quite a bit of money by explaining that what we wanted to do was not a viable option. We will certainly use this company again.

I had a honey do list that needed to be taken care of around the house. So after reviewing the Handyman companies on Angie's List I called Jack O'Trades and spoke with Logan and that afternoon met with his tradesman Kenny. I received the estimate right there and then and scheduled the day that worked for me. The day of service Kenny and his son where here 10mins earlier than expected. They where quick to knock out all the projects, courteous and professional. Most importantly they considered the safety of my 2 year old while they preformed their work. I would highly recommend Jack O'Trades and would not hesitate to use them or recommend them to my friends and family.

I used him in March. I had a problem with the installation of the shower part of it which leaked into another room. I called him the following day which was a Sunday and just that I needed it fixed right away because I had somebody coming the next day to use the bathroom. They did come out on Sunday and fixed it, which was good.

Logan with Jack O'Trades was very professional and conscientious when quoting the work and the work was completed expeditiously. I felt that the labor cost was a little on the high side, but the work was done well and quickly.

It was a positive experience. They did a good job. They showed up on time. They were easy to deal with. I would use them in the future.

They are really nice men. They do what you ask them to do and they are quick. They get it all done and don't make a mess. They are very non-judgmental. I would recommend them to anybody and will use them again in the future.

Kenny and his sons did the work. They were prompt, polite, and did amazing work. Everything was done in one day. They worked incredibly well as a team. Furniture was moved and everything was well protected. The bedroom was carpeted and the carpet was well protected while the ceiling was being primed and then painted. Kenny installed the moulding and did a great job. He told me he was good and he is! All of the bedroom furniture was put back in the room after all of the painting was done. They placed the furniture where I asked that it go. The furniture is very heavy. Everything was moved without complaint. Although I felt the pricing was a bit high, the quality of the work was incredible. I did receive an Angie's List discount.

They completed the work in a timely fashion. They were on budget.

They said that they didn’t do total fence. They gave me recommendation of somebody to call. They were very prompt. They came when they said they would come by. They gave me a recommendation right away. I was quite pleased with them. They didn’t charge me anything to come and look at the fence. They said that they wouldn’t be able to help me because it was beyond repair; it had to be totally replaced. They gave me reference of somebody to call. I would use them in the future.

I would highly recommend Logan/Jack O'Trades for any work you have. He showed up on time for the estimate, price was competitive and his estimate was thorough. Other estimates we received simply gave us a price for installing tile but there was so much other work to be done (drywall fix, plumbing, electrical, etc). We bought the tile ourselves from Tampa Tile and Logal picked it up for us. Also, Logan was able to save the bathroom and just do the shower area where everyone else wanted to gut the entire bathroom which had no damage. He showed up as scheduled for the work and I can't say enough about how good everything turned out. Logan is truly a professional and a pleasure to work with. I will definately go back to him with any future work I have. I highly recommend him.

He was a nice man and came promptly. We felt that his price was too high in comparision to the other estimates we received.

I called him to come out and give me an estimate on a doggie door and porch that needs to be repair but he declined to come for small jobs.

I've had work done by Jack O'trades several different times. The owner, Logan Steele, is efficient, honest, replies promptly and has wonderful subcontractors working with him. I feel fully at ease knowing that Logan will get the job done right in the lease amount of time for a fair price.

I had installed some cabinets, but I didn’t want to do the countertop myself. So I had him come out and look at that. He was right on time. He was very knowledgeable and overall very helpful. His price was very reasonable too, but I didn’t go with him. I had decided on a countertop that I was going to buy, but then granite countertops came on sale and I went that way. Otherwise, I certainly would've gone with Jack O' Trades.

It went okay. I had spoken to the owner and I wish the guy he sent had spent a little more time checking out what was causing the problem because I paid them for work and then the problem came back again because there was actually roof damage. He didn't take the time to climb into the attic or try to identify. The same guy came for the next job to replace the wax ring on the toilet and reseal it. He had to come back again because it didn't work. I don't have a problem with Jack O'Trades but I don't think I want that same person coming back to work on my home. I would use them again but I don't want that particular individual because he has done sub par work both times he sent him to us. I think it may just be that individual because my experience wasn't ideal. I think the guy that runs the place is a good stand-up guy. He did offer me a credit the last time because the guy had to come back to do work again. I haven't really shared the roofing thing with them. Their prices were average. They were very responsive and very punctual.

The owner of the company came out to give the quote. It was for about $450. He was very professional. He was also very flexible with his schedule in order to meet my needs on a very short turnaround. I did not use them, but my experience with them was positive. Everything was fine.

He work was satisfactory. We didn't have any problems. He also pretty much showed up when he was suppose to.

After my email request for service a representative scheduled a time to come out and see what the work involved. This visit was on April 14th and I received a quote and the work was scheduled for the next day. The handyman arrived by 8:30 a.m. and finished in less than two hours. Very efficient. Brought the necessary materials and cleaned up. Very satisfied.

The people arrived on time. The electricians installed lights and ceiling fans in fast time. The person who installed the screen took longer, of course, but he did excellent work. He was very careful. I really appreciated his attention to detail.

Did the work well and professionally.

I thought the job was excellent. He bid the job out properly, he did what he said he would do and did it on time. If I called him he answered the phone. he was very polite and professional. He's doing another bathroom for me now.
