Jack O Trades

This project took about a month and it went very smoothly. There were many different subcontractors that needed to be at the house due to the different types of work (plumbing, tile install, painting, drywall, cabinet building, glass installing, etc). Logan was great at orchestrating and scheduling them as well as ordering the materials. The guy definitely knows what he is doing and does it well. The only reason I gave a B for punctuality was due to a couple instances of some of subcontractors not showing up at the planned time. Logan was on time every time and stayed in communication with us throughout the project. Punctuality for him is an 'A'. Overall, I am very impressed with Logan/Jack O'Trades. I am planning to call him up again when it's time to do some planned repairs and remodeling to our kitchen and other bathroom.

Excellent, as usual Logan was promote in calling us back, providing an estimate, scheduling the work, and finishing it in record time. His team member Kenny did the work, and once again, delivered the same level of quality we have seen in Logan's work.

Logan was very professional and submitted a bid based on the work to be done and did let me know that with this type of project, potential unexpected issues can come up that might require additional work (ie, $). Logan was extremely helpful and responsive throughout the entire process. He was excellent at coordinating the timing of the work to be performed and ensuring that everything was being done to assure a high quality job. Partly because of the age of my house (built in 1942) there were a few snags which Logan was very quick to figure out the issue, identify the options available and provide professional advice on how to proceed. There was only one issue where I felt like the work performed by one of the subcontractors was inferior. The remedy ended up costing me significantly more than the original quote (as well as additional time, frustration, and stress). It wasn't Logan's fault that the work performed didn't work out, but I felt like there should have been more consideration regarding the additional headache on my part and this should have been reflected in my total project cost. I do also know that Logan does not plan to include this particular type of work in his future projects. But, I still feel a little bit like I paid the price for the error on the part of the subcontractor. Overall, I found Logan to be very professional, responsible, and responsive. I would recommend him particularly on projects that require coordination among a number of different types of services (plumbing, electric, general contract, etc.) because he is very good at knowing which part of the project should be done first, and does an excellent of of scheduling the work accordingly.

My husband was the one that dealt with them. They never did the work, they only gave us an estimate. We will consider using them in the future if we have any other handyman jobs.

They were fantastic and Logan is an absolute professional. The price is competitive for the area and you can find somebody cheaper, but not reliable. It is difficult to find someone who is cheaper as well as reliable. The reliability and quality definitely makes everybody overlook the cost. I don’t mind going with someone a little expensive, than with someone who is cheap as they have to be reliable also. My house is 86 year old and so I told them to do things right, irrespective of what he does. I was comfortable in hiring him for several projects and I know it will not go on forever. I will use them again in the future.

The overall experience was very good

I love Jack O'Trades. What was supposed to be a very small dining room corner drywall repair job turned into a surprise discovery of extensive water damage that went the entire length of our dining room and living - basically any wall area that shared house exterior had moisture and signs of seepage. The job in the end required much more work and time than originally anticipated. Logan and his guys addressed everything that needed to be addressed with such thoroughness and detail, and it all turned out perfectly. The job should have been maybe a day or so but ended up being 1.5-2 weeks total I think. Logan was wonderful - he worked us into his already full schedule so that at no time were we left wondering how long it would take to fix everything and get our space back to normal. He communicates and keeps you up to date, his pricing is extremely fair, and the guys he uses for the various jobs were all nice and clean and top-notch. We're getting ready to do some additional painting inside and I'll be calling Logan again soon. I would recommend Jack O'Trades to anyone.

They are very good, neat, quick and professional. Their pricing is fair and they did work in the time they promised. I will use them again in the future.

everything went great. Logan is very responsive, honest and friendly and has lots of great ideas. He has skilled tradesmen and he scheduled them to arrive exactly when we needed them. I don't think our kitchen remodel would have been done so quickly and with such quality with any other contractor.

This company did a great job, i was very happy with the way they handled everything. They showed up on time, their estimates were accurate, and did the job well and on time. The owner took the time to stop by and ensure everything was in order. I will definitely use Jack'o Trades on home improvement projects in the future and would recommend them to others, as they showed a much higher level of professionalism than i had seen from other such companies in the past.

Easy to schedule. Show up when scheduled. Good tradesmen. They are costly though. This is the first time we used this service provider.

Scheduled on Friday. Appointment on Monday. Two guys showed up and provided the service as promised. I provided the sealant. They provided all other supplies. This is the second project they have done for us. This project was way too expensive.

The owner of the company was very responsive and went above and beyond to help me. Highly recommend.

I found them on Angie’s List. I spent $700 on them. I have not compared their price. I chose them because I had seen them working in my neighborhood and they were rated very highly on Angie’s List. I will use them again in the future.

They did a very quick job. Everything worked out smooth and nice.

It went great. The quality of the finished product was really good, they look like they were built that way. There were a few delays initially, but once they got going the installation was smooth. He came back to finish a part the next day, so he came back immediately to address that only issue.

We liked him immediately as he had some great ideas and was very detailed oriented, but we were concerned his price was too high. Not finding anyone else that we felt that comfortable with we went with him and was very pleased at his professional handling of this job. He took a long time to complete it because we were not occupying the place and were in no hurry. He finished timely and left the place very clean. I feel very comfortable recommending him.

The job was okay. I found them on Angie's List originally. Nothing stood out about them and I wasn't especially impressed with them when I tried them myself. I wasn't exactly impressed with their work and it wasn't all that good. I had some doubts about how they did it. I wasn't especially impressed with their pricing for what they did. The guy was only here for about an hour and a half and he charged me $175, which is not exactly a good price. They had a problem with scheduling. I thought that their work was mediocre. Overall, they were really mediocre.

We didn’t accept his bid because it was high, but he was fine. He was professional and pleasant enough. I think he was late coming and I didn't get the bid back very quickly.

I love the floor - it's just different from my other floor so I'm getting used to it. But it looks great. It looks fantastic. I'm very happy with his work. He said he'd be here at a certain time and he was. He did the work in the time frame he gave me. He showed up on time. They were very efficient and did everything I asked them to do. I thought they were very good.
