Jack O Trades

Total work effort took far longer than I anticipated. Day 1 from approx 8:30 am to 3:30 pm the coach lights, ceiling fans and curtain rods were installed. It took Day 2 from approx 8:15 am to 10:00 am to install the bathroom fixtures. None of these tasks I considered particularly challenging. The house was pre-wired to accept the ceiling fans and coach lights. I would have considered self-performing the installations, but was willing to pay a premium to have it done quickly. Considering the time involved, I do not feel I got my money's worth.

Good experience. They were able to schedule the work within four days after my phone call. Tradesman was on time, worked efficiently and cleaned area after completing work.

This is a brand new home! I contacted them the week or two before this happened. They were to be here to put up everything by the time I moved in on a Thursday. He left me a message on my phone one day before he was to be here and said he couldn't be here. I had no time to find anyone else! He than said he would be here the day after I moved in and I sat and waited for two hours and they never showed! He said he forgot to put out the work order and that is why the gentlemen didn't show up after I moved. At this point I was stuck, every other handyman was out a week or so. I felt I was strung along with messed up scheduling. I have a house that needs handymen besides this house and my 14 yr old son sat with me that week that they were suppose to be there and said don't ever use them again! Now the quality of work that was finally done was great! They did everything I asked. The comment for being totally inconvenienced from Logan was I will give you $100 off your next job! Not off this job! The scheduling was horrible and I will NOT use them again for certain. I understand he can respond. If someone has been in business as long as he claims, don't overschedule your men. He can claim he made it up to me. Bottom line, he charged me the same and gave me nothing more. I feel I am extremely fair in these responses.

Logan answered my call on the 3rd ring and explained how scheduling worked (with tentative appointments versus real appointments). We agreed on a real data and also a tentative date one day earlier. As it turns out, he was not able to make the tentative date but called when he said he would to let me and to confirm "real" appointment the next day. The day of, his handyman showed up on time and prepared for the job (he didn't have to go get materials). He worked quietly and efficiently and got the job done quickly. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

The project went very well. The only issue was caused by the cabinet supplier, and it set the job back about a week. This was also the week of Christmas, but Logan made sure he delivered what was promised as fast as it was possible with the set back caused by no fault of his company. At the end there were a few minor issues that we told Logan about, and he took care of them right away.

I could not have been happier with all aspects of this company from their immediate response, pricing, the quality of the work and the professional billing. I especially recommend them for people that need random work done as this type of smaller job work is very hard to find help with. They get an A+++ from me.

Logan and team delivered a beautiful bathroom we are proud to show off. Would recommend and will use Jack o Trades for any future projects. I also liked how Logon went over several issues he could run into once the project was started, such as electrical or plumbing running in the 80?s style drop down ceiling over vanity and shower. Overall a great job, Logan did what he said and kept me informed along the entire process. Thanks Logan!

We needed some work done at a rental property (single family home), and didn't have the time or expertise to do all of it ourselves. Logan was fantastic to work with over the phone. He answered all my questions and worked me into their schedule right away. Kenny performed all the work that was needed, and did a great job top to bottom. He carefully reviewed every item on my list, spent time answering my questions and explaining his answers, was clear about what things on the list could not be done by him, provided a fair estimate of all work, and communicated well overall. He started the job right away, and completed the work in half a day. I was hoping to spend $500 or less, so the price may have been slightly higher than what I was hoping for, but for the speedy response, reliability, good communication, and excellent work that was done, I felt the price was reasonable for the services performed. I'd definitely recommend Logan/Kenny to anyone looking for a handyman, and will likely call them again the next time we need these types of services.

He did a great job. He was very quick and efficient. They were on time which was a plus. I was very satisfied.

They were very prompt and professional. They were very responsive in their communication. They showed up when they said they would and got the job done right the first time.

I called multiple companies that had good ratings from Angie's List. Logan was the one guy that came to the house and really put some time and effort into the bid, layout & ultimate repair of my shower, which had structural failure. I travel 80% of the time, so Logan was able to work without supervision and his sub contractors were all professional and on time. He was always available and very easy to communicate with. In the end, he was the one guy that I needed and he came through big time. Highly recommended!

I just felt that the cost was much more than if I dealt with a handi-man personally, without a middleman. This has turned out to be more cost-effective for me

Although I did not use his services at this time, I most definitely will in the future.

It was a pleasure to work with Logan. He listened to what I wanted to do, offered suggestions to make it better and provided a detailed estimate of the work to be done on a very timely basis. He used professional trades people who were efficient and polite. Logan checked in with me on a daily basis regarding the schedule and how things were going; he verified the work as it was completed and made corrections where needed. Logan discussed each step of the work with me and made sure I understood and agreed with what was done. I look forward to working with Logan again and will definitely recommend him to anyone.

They did several jobs and they did a lot more than they original bid on. I’m having them come back and do some more. They did an excellent job. They did everything the way we wanted. It just looked nice when it was done.

I would highly recommend Jack O' Trades. From the first phone call, I was greeted with professionalism by Logan, who listened to my list of items and gave me a brief explanation of some of the potential solutions that might be utilized. He told me he would send someone out two days later to perform an estimate and do the work if we decided to proceed. On the scheduled date/time, Kenny arrived promptly. We went over all of the repairs and he quickly prepared an estimate for me. Once I accepted the price/terms, he began working. He worked steadily from about 9:30 until 3:00 and completed all of the repairs. He was professional and courteous and we were very pleased with his work.

This was one of the most pleasant company I have worked with! We are new to the area and the home did not have a vent fan in the hall bathroom. We had a number of companies look at the situation and tell us that it was nearly impossible to do and that they were unable (unwilling?) to undertake the job. Logan of Jack O'Trades came and gave me an estimate of the price and how long the job would take. He was honest, efficient and ready to take the job. We have vaulted ceilings and the attic access is so small that an adult cannot get into the area above the bathroom. Logan and company had to cut a hole in the ceiling to install the vent fan as well as place the wiring. It took a couple of hours to actually install the fan and wire it. The next day, the drywall was patched and painted. It is so well done that we cannot even tell it was repaired. The job went without a hitch. In addition to the fan, Logan noticed that the attic ladder was not sitting properly and offered to cut the legs to fit snuggly on the floor. Another handyman group had installed the ladder just a month before, so I was surprized to see that it was not installed correctly. Logan took the time to show me the problem and offer an easy solution.To top it off, a baffle from one of the pot lights in our kitchen had fallen off and broken. I do not have a ladder tall enough to reach the light (18 feet up), but Logan and his crew replaced it free of charge. I would not hesitate to use them again. They are fabulous and I cannot recommend them enough.

They arrived on time, went over my list of projects and gave me a price. I agreed to to the price quoted - it took them two days and all of the projects on my lengthy list were completed to my satisfaction.

They came out promptly to give me an estimate. There was a delay in the timing of the estimate to completion, through no fault of theirs, as I went out of town. They told me it would take two days, which was right. They consulted with me on the type of crown moulding needed. We had provided an lower moulding type but forgot to state what we needed for the top. They presented several options that would go with the bottom and we chose one and it looks wonderful. They did an excellent job on all of the work requested.

The whole experience went well. Kenny arrived on time and was very courteous. We reviewed all the projects I needed completed and he gave me a reasonable quote. He promptly went to work and accomplished everything in a timely manner. He did an excellent job and I would use them again in the future.

Logan and staff were friendly and professional. All very knowledgeable of their trades/professions. Preformed all jobs and helped with suggestions. Its hard to find a service provider you can trust. Jack O' Trades is a company you can trust!

It didn't work after we inspected it, so he came back the next day and took care of it. He was very professional and very good.

Timely and courteous. The budget was a bit high for us and we had to find alternatives. Based on his diligence and what he provided in his estimates, I am sure the job would have turned out excellently. I got along great and could tell he is a very trusting person and I would recommend him to anyone --

He reported on time and proceeded to assemble the swing and hung it after determining that the attic rafter would support the weight and was not termite damaged. Left things neat and tidy.
