Jack O Trades

Description of Work: Brian was amazing. He went from one item on my list to another as if it were his second nature. From plumbing to electric to carpentry. He did it all.

Description of Work: - remove ciling fan and 13' of base cabinets in farage -remove 18'x14' of drywall from ceiling in garage. re-texture new drywall on ceiling -paint ceiling of garage - remove 2 walls in garage -relocate existing electrical outlets, remove light in room

Description of Work: We had them replace baseboard for us where it had been damaged when we tore some door trim out. It was delicate work because it was in front of a pocket door. The first time they did the work the trim nails were dragging on the pocket door. We called them the next day and they were instantly here, fixed it right, and touched up any impacted paint. They aren't the cheapest but we were impressed by their responsiveness and very pleased with the quality result.

Description of Work: Repaired and replaced water damaged bathroom and laundry room walls, ceiling tile and fixtures. Painted door and trim. In final stage today and tomorrow, weather permitting, I am pleased with all the work they have done even with the "surprise" termite damage discovered in teardown . Never late and really professional work.

Description of Work: there were several things in my home that had to be fixed including screens, a door, security lock, and some painting plus a few other odd jobs that were brought to Kenny's attention that were also made right and everything was done in a professional and timely fashion.

Description of Work: I called Jack O Trades to have an estimate done for ceiling tiles in my home. Logan had one of his guys come out to my house (which I took off from work to meet him) to look at the job and give me an estimate. When Logan's guy left, he assured me that I would have the estimate shortly. He came to give me an estimate on 1/23/2015. Today is February 3rd and still no estimate. I had Jack o Trades do some work for me in my old house so I assumed that this would be a simple process. I wound up calling someone else on Angies list who followed up and gave a fair estimate. . This is the last time i will call Jack o Trades for anything.

Description of Work: It was a pleasure working with Logan. He is a rare find here in Florida. He returns phone calls and goes over all of your options. He communicates very well and sticks to the schedule he provides before work begins. Quality of work is also good. If you are doing a remodel or need work done on your home, I would at least call jack o trades to come out and give you an estimate. You won't regret it. This is the first contractors I have found in FL that provided this type of service.

Description of Work: Jack O trades replaced an old deck with a composite deck and they replaced our front door with a fiberglass pre-hung door. The quality of the work was good but I had to inspect the job several times to make sure it met my specifications. The sub had to come back out to the house twice to fix areas around the deck. The owner is a good guy but is a self described craftsman. He has high standards on materials and will only allow you to order from specific manufacturers (i.e. door.) I would work with them on big projects and hire others for small projects.

Description of Work: We had a lot of mis-communnication and I ended up using someone else. I wasted a lot of time trying to get it right. I may try them again to see if it goes better. Logan seem to know his stuff as a general contractor.
