It went great! I called to discuss pricing and was scheduled the next day as requested. Gary was very professional and seemed to really care about the integrity of his work (just as the name suggests)!

They came out at the appointed time. They were excellent and extremely professional. They answered any and all the questions that I had. I was extremely happy with their service. I have no complaints about them.

Very pleasant experience for such short notice. Gary was pretty resourceful in explaining the type of lock that I had on my current door compared to standard DIY hardware store locks. Work was clean, solid and quick. Definitely would use again for additional security needs.

Gary provided an estimate of the work ahead of performing the job. His estimate was reasonable. He was easy to reach, showed up right on time, and completed the work quickly. This is the second time I have used his services and I would recommend him highly.

Gary made the appointment for 10am. He did not show up at 10 and we did not receive any call from him letting us know he would be late. He did show up in the afternoon and did everything we requested. Overall his work was good.

I have to say that I have tossed and turned over this review.... last night, I had basically decided that I WOULD NOT write one. However, for better or worse, that's why Angie's List was created in the first place. I was EXTREMELY HAPPY to hear Gary say he could come out right away (because I was off work and had just had the new doors hung -- another review I have to write!)... it was 2 p.m when I called and he stated he would be here by 3 p.m, else he would promptly call me and let me know if he was detained. Well, at 3:30 p.m I decided I would give him a courtesy call because I hadn't heard from him (I thought he was lost)... I live in a townhouse development that doesn't appear on Mapquest and the like. When I reached him he stated he was still in South Tampa and it would probably be 20 minutes before he would be here (no mention of the fact that he was sorry he promised to be here at 3 p.m and wasn't)... I was concerned because I had another committment... 45 minutes later, he arrived. Never, during the course of our conversations did he even act like he originally told me he'd be here at 3 p.m and call me if he was delayed -- I guess I should have just felt "lucky" that he would come out the same day (and not say anything)? In part, I'm happy that I only had to pay him a $45 service fee to tell me that all my locks were the same and didn't need to be re-keyed (I'm sure this could have cost a lot more, however in reading some of the rates people paid, I couldn't have imagined it being THAT MUCH more). My advice to anyone reading this review: If you've recently bought new lock sets at any home improvement store or somewhere else, CHECK THE KEYS FIRST TO SEE IF THEY WORK IN THE OTHER LOCKS!!! It would have saved me $45 and in May 2008, that is a full tank of gas for me. SECONDLY: I hold my friends and EVEN MY FAMILY to the following mantra: "Be a man (or woman) of your words... do as you say, and say as you do.". My only problem with Gary was that he promised to be here at 3 p.m and then call if he was going to be late (I didn't suggest this, but rather: HE PROMISED he would)... he did not. By my estimation he was an hour and 45 minutes late... and, if I charged him my (salaried) hourly rate, he would have owed me. I'm a busy professional and like most people, just frugal with my time and money. I expect people to live up to their words and stand behind the service they provide.

It went fine, he was willing to come same day if I had wanted.

Arrived as scheduled. Completed the work in one hour.

Real simple job, remove a broken key in a lock and fix the lock. Luckily I live near Gary, so I removed the cylinders and gave him a call. He was out of the office but he said he would call me and meet me at his house (which I suggested). Gary was finished with work at 7 pm when I got his call. He quickly removed my key, fixed the lock, gave me a marvelous education on lock trouble-shooting and maintenance, and cut two new keys for me. All very late in the work day and well into his personal time. The cost was trivial, but the neighborhood quality service Gary provided was exceptional. I will use him every time and recommend him without reservation.

Called in the morning to book appointment and fortunately Gary was available to work later in the afternoon. He arrived when he said he would and did the work quickly.

He was here in a timely fashion, did great work, and did not take that long to get everything done. His prices were better than competitive.

Very courteous and professional, he was patient and understanding when I first protested the amount of the charge; then I called back sheepishly having been quoted much more by the one other company that would come (many companies would not come at all.)

No one likes to admit being locked out of their car, but when my own road and travels emergency service was unavailable (I'll be changing now, thank you), I contacted Gary through Angie's List. Gary not only answered the call on a Sunday afternoon, but as we had a lot of unexpected company at the house, he was gracious in waiting a few minutes until I was ready to devote my attention to him and the vehicle. He was professional and courteous, and I'd recommend him to someone who needed that technical skill, as he was also proficient and timely.

GARY LONG ARRIVED AT MY CAR VIA HIS MOBILE VAN AND IMMEDIATELY IDENTIFIED THAT THE DUPLICATE KEY THAT I HAD MADE WAS THE WRONG KIND. HE MADE NEW KEYS AND WHEN ENGAGED THEM IN THE IGNITION, HE WAS NOT SATISFIED THAT THE PROBLEM WAS COMPLETELY FIXED. HE THEN TOOK THE IGNITION SWITCH APART, CLEANED AND LUBRICATED IT.
